Dr. Powell saw my kitty that I took in from the streets. She had a cold, with sneezing discharge, a fever and he even found a cyst on her mamory gland. He answered all of my questions and even had a go plan for if her cold came back. Well Dots Cold is back, in just 3 weeks. I'm waiting for Monday to call back amd schedule her another apt. I just moved down here from New England in May. After lots of research, I chose All Pets Hospital because of the good reviews and it's very close to my house. I checked out their site and read up on the staff and their bios were honest and funny and they seemed like a group of people I would trust with my fur kids. I called and made an appt. and got one on a day I was free. My records were faxed down from my old hospital. When I arrived, the staff was so welcoming. My 5.5 yr old lab is a wild woman and the techs loved her and gave her a bunch of attention. We didn't wait long at all to go to the exam room. They went over her records with me and thoroughly checked her. They recommended what shots and vaccines she needed. Dr. Powell came in shortly after and was very nice! He talked to me about my dog and was gentle administering her vaccines. She didn't even flinch. He then talked to me about my move and how my husband, dogs, and I were settling in. Dr. Powell and all the staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Powell spends as much time as needed to treat my pets and answer any questions I have. The staff truly cares for animals and is a pleasure to work with. If you need a Vet, this is the place! I can't say enough about the quality of care and genuine concern for my pets! I'm writing this review after trying this hospital twice with my dog. Both times we visited their facility it was not a good experience. I don't want to bash, bash, bash and have people not take this review seriously. I'll sum up as best I can: I don't think the Vet was thorough. They seemed to just agree with whatever we thought might be wrong with our dog and then prescribed some extremely expensive medication. I am certain that a standard antibiotic would have worked just fine, but we paid $70 for the script. The next time we went back seemed like a complete repeat of the first. However, this time they missed an ear infection. We asked them to check her ears and eyes. Medicine for the eyes was immediate, told us the ears were clear. After a week of our dog shaking her head...we took her back. We also asked that they not charge us for the evaluation since they had missed it the week prior. No can do. They told us they would take $10 off the consult and the cost of meds. We left and will not be going back. This is only my opinion, but I don't feel the care at this facility is up to par. Even if the prices were reasonable, and we didn't have the ear infection missed, I would not return.Read Less

I have to disclaimer before my review that I have an extremely reactive, high anxiety Catahoula Hound. We previously used the vet my family has used for many years but had an incident  to which they informed me would cost 35$ extra each visit. Needless to say we decided to find someone who would take better care with him and not charge us a fee for his anxiousness. Someone referred us to All Pets which is a little bit of a drive from our home in Palm Harbor but we decided to try it. The office manager after hearing our story consulted the vet before our first appt to see what we could do to ease our dogs anxiety. Amanda was able to call us back with the Dr's recommendation and I can't praise them more for it. He entered the office a little woozy and apprehensive but then in walked the "dog whisperer." The vet tech hugged him so tight he instantly melted in her arms and took his shots like a champion! We were amazed and ever so appreciative of their kindness. I can't say he is excited to go to subsequent visits but it is definitely much easier to get him in the office at All Pets.
