My cat is better after getting the meds she needed. I had to beg for them because after I brought in the lab sample as instructed, I was told they had to see the cat because glucose was in her urine sample along with blood. I checked online, Google said it could be transient hypoglycemia in times of stress. Her problem is she is easily spooked and this is her second uti in 7 months. I give her c/d urinary care food. I appreciate all that the staff did for me and my cat. I really can't afford "what ifs" on a widow's salary. The cat only weighs 7ish pounds, so diabetes? And she isn't even two. We were in the area visiting for the month of February 2018 when our 14 year old Bichon, Cody , became very ill. Animal Care center was recommended to me. I called late morning and they got me in late afternoon the same day. After doing blood work and x-rays, we found out that he had a serious liver infection. Remedial choices were not promising unfortunately. We felt it best to have him euthanized. Although it was extremely hard to come to that decision, Dr. Kimberly Roberts and the staff was fantastic and sympathetic in getting me thru it. We were referred to Animal Care Center by a friend who has taken her pets there for years! We have been clients for over a year and have had a great experience each time we have gone! We have two dogs (one who we have groomed with Ryan every six weeks).Since we moved from Colorado, our guys have been super itchy and the team at Animal Care Center has been awesome helping us diagnose and treat our pets. They have recommend holistic treatments (washing their feet) and also providing them with pills that have helped to make our little guys more comfortable. Fantastic experience! I brought my first puppy in for a checkup and was amazed at how well the office was set up! The waiting room was large and divided nicely so each pet and their caregiver could choose a comfortable spot--to sit next to other dogs, or not. (I had previously experienced very tight waiting areas at the vet was less than pleased) There was no dog/cat smell, it was clean, with coffee and filtered water. Then the vet tech was able to easily calm down my excited puppy to take his vitals, and trim his nails for free with the checkup! She was also able to answer all of our questions from teething to normal vaccinations. Then, we were given a "puppy kit" that included further info about care and treatment with a toy for the pup! She also explained that if we needed help with training,(potty, teething) they have a trainer that can answer our questions for that too!! Next, Dr. Griffin warmly greeted us and asked us questions that we hadn't even considered about his daily habits. He took his time to answer any remaining questions and completed a thorough examination. When it was time for shots, he didn't make me hold the puppy(thank god) and had a vet tech hold him in another room. Seriously the best vet experience ever!! Highly recommended!Read Less

My pup wasn't eating or drinking. I was terrified!!! She's 9 and a small dog and was such a sudden change for her. She's usually a good eater! Dr Noyes was fantastic. Gave her anti nausea meds and fluids to help with dehydration. Today (the next day) she's starting to eat again and drinking. Not normal but definitely an improvement. I go there for all my pet needs and Dr Noyes has always been loving and kind to my pups with quick and accurate treatments when needed. Highly recommended! Read Less

I have a 4 month old kitten that adopted my family a week ago. On Wednesday he got into the road and was dragged under a car. Very bad road rash and could not breath through his nose. I contacted them and they said to bring him right in. They immediately took him back and within 5 minutes was notified of their findings. Unfortunately, they found he has a severe heart murmur. I had taken him on Sunday to have a checkup and vaccinations done at another clinic which made no mention of the murmur. This morning, I received a call directly from the vet to check on how he was doing. He spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me going over his care and future care. We feel so lucky to have found this Veterinary practice to care for our animals. We have a zoo ranging from exotics to dogs and cats, and all of them get the best of care at Animal Care Center of Pasco. Can say enough good things about the doctors there, and the AMAZING staff! They have seen us through a loss of one dog, and are helping us so much with our new puppy Lyssa. Dr. Maldonado is wonderful. I first met him when I found a sick feral kitten that I brought in to help and could not be saved unfortunately. He was very principled yet very compassion not cold and after talking he was direct with the way he advised euthanizing the kitten. It was a hard decision but I was glad I was met by him in that instant having to make a tough decision like that on the spot. Since then I have brought various of my fur babies in to see him and I continue to feel he exceeds my expectations. Dr. Maldonado communicates in a professional yet very empathetic way, which I really appreciate. You can tell he really cares and won't sugar coat anything. I have been to several Veterinarians offices over the years in diff counties, was feeling very disappointed and discouraged. Meeting Dr. Maldonado has been a breath of fresh air. My family and I have been using this Veterinary Office for almost 15 years now. The office is always very clean and well maintained. The staff is very nice, polite, gentle and knowledgeable. My new dog, a 1 yr. old Lab mix, is very hesitant to be away from me and the team here is very patient with her, helping her to relax and to make her feel comfortable while separated from me. Sadly however, she requires knee surgery, mind you I'm extremely scared she has to have this done, and Dr. Moldanado and the rest of their staff, have gone above and beyond my expectations, both reassuring me she'll be fine and explaining the surgery process to me. As well as, at times, working after hours to help my husband and I find an Orthopedic surgeon that I feel has the experience necessary and skill set required to fix my baby girls leg so she can get better! I would definitely highly recommend him and his colleagues to anyone who might be searching for a Veterinary Clinic to entrust the well being of their fur babies to. Read Less

I have been a customer with a Veterinary Clinic for a long time this time I'm very disappointed I will not be back I have a cat that I need to put down because she's Seventeen years old she weighs 1 pound she is throwing up and she is peeing and pooping unable to hold her bowels the vet would like to have $150 to do an examination and then maybe give her some medicine before they euthanize her I find that ridiculous I know my cat I know she's very old and it's sad that they want to try to fix an old cat that cannot be fixed so now it makes me think they are a money-hungry veterinarian clinic it's not about the pets any more people they want your money only it's only about your money don't take your pet there so give it a shot and it'll be dead the next day find a new bed Read Less

These people are amazing. They have seen us through some rough spots with our pets. Today I needed to get my Yorkie in to see someone and even though they were booked through next week, they invited me in and within 15 minutes Dr. Griffin was there talking with us and caring for our Yorkie. I'm pretty sure I've seen every vet in their service through the years and every single one of them is top notch. And the front desk staff is ALWAYS very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. I have had cats for over 20 years, and I had a rabbit for 5 years.... and have had wonderful caring vets over all those years. I moved to Florida and was not sure where to take my cats and rabbit, and a cat ER in Tampa recommend ACC.   I am so thankful they did because the vets, techs, front desk staff at Animal Care Center are THE BEST I have ever seen  The vets take their time going over ANY and ALL questions and make sure the conditions and treatments are understood. The techs and front desk staff are AMAZING, all of them ( And I have dealt with each and every staff member) are kind, smart, compassionate, and organized. The vets follow through and during a recent issue with my cat, the vets have called me each and every day for nearly a month to check in! I love the Doctors at this animal hospital; they are one of the best around. I went in with a friend and found that the front desk was a turnoff. I use to work at a vet's office and every month we would discuss how the front desk SHOULD be as it is a turn-off if you coming into contact with help that are either rude or indifferent. Dr. Brownell is amazing and her Techs are the best !! She goes above and beyond for her patients, It does not surprise me to know that she would take a very sick animal home to care for overnight or even stay at the hospital for long hours or come in on her day off just to care for a sick patient.
