Absolutely a 5 star facility. The entire staff is wonderful, except for Dr. Borecki.....He is not only a very knowledgeable vet, but also very caring and accommodating. This man is not in it for the money.....This man truly cares for his patients and their owners. Regency Park gets a 5 star, Dr. Borecki more than that. Read Less

Out of state and needed vet care for my dog. I found them on a web search and couldn't be happier! The staff was WONDERFUL! They took great care of my dog, did a thorough checkup and gave recommendations for his treatment for now and beyond as they detected some other conditions to be looked at in the near future. We have been seeing Dr Canfield for almost 2 years. I was extremely impressed on our first visit when Dr Canfield took the time to sit with my pup and spend time with him to get to know him and to put him at ease prior to his exam. The staff is amazing with the level of care and respect they give my dog. They have stayed late when I ran my dog in when dog he sheared a tooth off and was in pain. Dr Canfield and his staff have personally reached out after hours or after a surgery to check on how my dog was doing. His techs have gone the extra mile when I forgot to reorder his meds and get them to me so he did not miss a dose. It is apparent that they care about their profession and about pets. If you want someone that will spend the time with you pet to make sure they are very well cared for - this is the place to go. Read Less

I moved to Port Richey in September 2015. Both of my pugs were seen the following week by the vets at AHRP. Extremely friendly staff and very cheerful waiting room. My appointment was at 10  a.m. and we were in the exam room by 10:15 being greeted by the vet assistant. The doctor came in and actually got down on the floor to love on my pugs before examining them. Wonderful experience; easy to get appointments; very little wait time. I was given a dog that was injured by an elderly couple that found him on a road. I had never been to this hospital and it was a Saturday and I could not find anyone else that was open. They fit me in and not only seemed like they cared but went above and beyond. They helped the dog and found someone that could care for him. I was so impressed with Dr Canfield and Timberly. The technicians where also very nice and understanding. The hospital is clean and the environment is positive. I am new to the area and I have been looking for a vet for my own dog and I haven't had good luck at all. I will be taking my dog here from now. Read Less

Animal hospital of Regency park was FABULOUS! They not only make you feel very welcome but the facility is clean and inviting. The prices are fair. Doctor Borecky is outstanding along with the rest of the staff including Tonya and Todd. They give you all your options up front and make sure you thoroughly understand whats going on. I have been going here for over 14 years, I took my apple head chihuahua for 10 years, after he passed I have a puppy Rayn whom I take to them, always accommodating, even to the point of bringing a medicine to my home because I was unable to get to the office to pick it up. I love it here they are very attentive to both my dogs Nemo and Phantom. Any questions I have they have provided me with great information. I highly recommend this clinic to pet owners. They may be a bit pricey but for the care they provide my family it is worth every dime. They have also worked with me on payment planes therefore I am very satisfied with there service. Nice place, nice doctors, they've got an extreme wait time issue. It doesn't matter if your the only one in the waiting room. Every time we've gone it's taken at least 2 hours, usually more. I actually wrote down all the time spent waiting and with the staff at my last visit. I had an appointment for the regular check up. The total time spent waiting came to about 2 hours and the time spent with vet was 14 mins.Here's the break down of the visit:First we Waited 55 mins in the waiting room. Tech spent 8 mins with me. Wait 5 mins in room. The vet spent 10 mins checking the dog out. We waited another 28 mins. The Tech came in and took the dog in the back for shots. Waited for 10 mins. The vet came back for 4 mins. We waited another 25 mins. Tech came back in for 5 mins. Then we got to check out which took 15 mins. My dog is stressed enough, waiting 2 hours is absolutely ridiculous. Schedule your appointments further apart or leave a few spots empty every day so you can catch up and have time for emergencies. Read Less
