We had to put down our beloved Cy and took him to Best Care. He went peacefully. They were so patient and understanding. A few days later we received a rose and sympathy note. Such a sweet gesture.

I have been taking my 'fur babies' to Best Care for over 10 years. First, used Dr. Elliott and then Dr. Chanel came on board and we fell in love with her so chose to change. She took such care of both our babies through the years....all the way to the end of their little lives. Her kindness and care never wavered. She always returned my calls when there was a crisis. Especially caring through the last weeks of their lives. When my babies went passed, we received a beautiful plant basket....so thoughtful and kind. I have planted both baskets in a large pot and they are thriving!!
The staff is just as attentive and helpful. Thank you for all your help. I plan to get another 'fur baby' and will definitely take him/her to Dr. Chanel.

Stellar care.Called to get my babies in for their first exam, shots, exam and fecal in preparation for future spaying. Vet visits can be stressful for animals under the best of circumstances, particularly for indoor-only animals like mine. Best to start them young...play with their toes when they are young and you can be able to wash their feet, clip toenails, etc. I was greeted on the phone by a pleasant young man, who then directed me to a veterinary tech to talk about future spaying package. Caveat: They aren't the least expensive so don't come expecting discounts unless you get one pop up on Yelp. That is a-okay with me because discounted care is not always comparable and vet visits are something that can be budgeted for (I worked at one as a vet tech assistant when I was young). I have had vet clinics in other states and locales be cheaper, but not as attentive or caring, or even felt less comfortable. There was the usual barking dogs in the waiting room but all the dogs were sweet and stayed on the left side of the clinic. No excessive noise like with the walk-in clinics I've been to. Pros: clean, smells nice, no one tried to sell me any products. I talked to the tech, the ladies and gentleman out front and the doctor at length. Each person was respectful, informative, and so friendly. My cats are happy girls.

These vets (Drs. Elliott, Channell, and Parenton) are beyond comparison. Even when we have disagreed about a treatment option (I don't like steroids although sometimes that IS the only option, for example), they care about our opinions, our concerns, what we're thinking or where we're coming from. They admire us for loving and knowing our pets. They use their skills, knowledge, training, and education to help us make better-informed decisions to best care for our animal friends and companions. Having experienced another vet from a different practice, who behaved in a harsh, judgmental and condescending way, I thought the best way to express my displeasure and disapproval of his attitude and behavior would be to point out who is BEST in animal care, and that is BEST CARE! It's not just their name, it's their attitude and their practice.

My dog does not like men so I was a little concerned how this would go. My dog jumped into Dr. Elliot's lap and didn't want to leave him ! How loving and compassionate the doctor and techs are here! I live in an apartment that has several stray or abandoned cats; one got really sick with an upper respiratory infection, and I was afraid it was going to die, so I took him to them. I explained that I have cats of my own, but that this little guy was sick and I was concerned. Not only did they treat him, but because I was going to have to isolate him in my home (to prevent spread), the gave him a flea treatment and a fee-worm treatment. They took time to talk to me the next day about getting him to eat (he quit eating and drinking), and then checked back up with me to make sure he was doing ok. While I was there everyone was so, SO kind! The doctor, the techs that drew blood and gave him I.V. fluids and even the ladies at the check in/check out counter. They were all understanding and compassionate! I had never been to their clinic - the vet I use could not get him in and recommended Best Care. I'm really grateful that they were able to work me in and took so much time with this little guy. He's on the mend now, and I'll recommend Best Care to any and all pet owners in my neighborhood.

The doctor stood with me and asked me questions about the kind of cat Jake was and in that moment it felt so good to share how wonderful he was. The doctor laughed at my stories and seemed like he truly cared. Thank you so much.
We really felt cared for and recieved flowers a few days later. I will be bringing my other cat to this location, no question.

I am never bringing any animal back to this place. I boarded my dog and I did not read the fine print stating there is a mandatory $23 bath before you can pick up your pet. They of course don't tell you this. So, If I board my dog at your facility I have to pay $23 for a mandatory bath?? Shame on you! Some places give FREE baths during boarding and you are charging your clients $23 for a mandatory bath every time they board their dog. They also did an exam on her I never authorized but they sure charged me the $60 for it.What should've only costed $140 ended up costing me over $200.

One of our dogs ears were infected with all the pollen. He was treated and told to return in two weeks for a no charge follow-up. We were billed another $90. We have spent over $600 at this facility in the last three months. We're finding a country vet.

This week we made the painful decision to have our beloved 16 years old Lab euthanized. From the moment we set foot in the clinic, the staff tried to make us as comfortable as possible. We were immediately escorted to a roomy examination room where they had laid a nice comforter for our dog to lay on. They took care of all the paperwork & when Dr. Channell came in, she took the time to pet Gage & explain to us what was going to happen. It was very peaceful & with no pain or stress for our boy. Though heartbroken, we have the comfort of knowing that he was surrounded by his loved ones & by caring & professional people. The next day, the florist delivered flowers from the hospital. I am so grateful to them & would all-heartedly recommend them.

I just switched to Best Care Animal Hospital after 9 1/2 years at Westlake Animal Hospital/ Westlake Animal Inn. I just picked up my dog from boarding this weekend-I am so impressed!!! First of all, Westlake only cares for the animal 2 times a day- a couple of hours in the morning, and a couple of hours in the afternoon. Best Care's kennel staff is there during their hours, ALL DAY, and 4 times a day on weekends when their hours are shorter. The receptionist, and kennel staff were so nice and caring, they made myself and my pet feel at home. Upon pick up today my dog came out happy, clean, and healthy. Let me just say in a nice way, not the case with the other place!! I am so happy that I moved my pets to Best Care. I will never leave!!!!! Big thank you to the PROFESSIONALS at Best Care, STELLAR FACILITY!!!!!

This place is amazing! The staff are terrific, caring, n sweet. The Dr was wonderful and my furry son adapt to her so quick, which is NOT like him. They were caring enough to call for a follow up to make sure he was ok and sent me a card that welcomed him to there place. We felt very welcomed and important.

My dog does not like men so I was a little concerned how this would go. My dog jumped into Dr. Elliot's lap and didn't want to leave him ! SO happy for how welcomed we were made to feel and how caring and FUN the entire staff is !!

How loving and compassionate the doctor and techs are here! I live in an apartment that has several stray or abandoned cats; one got really sick with an upper respiratory infection, and I was afraid it was going to die, so I took him to them. I explained that I have cats of my own, but that this little guy was sick and I was concerned. Not only did they treat him, but because I was going to have to isolate him in my home (to prevent spread), the gave him a flea treatment and a fee-worm treatment. They took time to talk to me the next day about getting him to eat (he quit eating and drinking), and then checked back up with me to make sure he was doing ok. While I was there everyone was so, SO kind! The doctor, the techs that drew blood and gave him I.V. fluids and even the ladies at the check in/check out counter. They were all understanding and compassionate! I had never been to their clinic - the vet I use could not get him in and recommended Best Care. I'm really grateful that they were able to work me in and took so much time with this little guy. He's on the mend now, and I'll recommend Best Care to any and all pet owners in my neighborhood.

The doctor stood with me and asked me questions about the kind of cat Jake was and in that moment it felt so good to share how wonderful he was. The doctor laughed at my stories and seemed like he truly cared. Thank you so much.
We really felt cared for and recieved flowers a few days later. I will be bringing my other cat to this location, no question.

I am never bringing any animal back to this place. I boarded my dog and I did not read the fine print stating there is a mandatory $23 bath before you can pick up your pet. They of course don't tell you this. So, If I board my dog at your facility I have to pay $23 for a mandatory bath?? Shame on you! Some places give FREE baths during boarding and you are charging your clients $23 for a mandatory bath every time they board their dog. They also did an exam on her I never authorized but they sure charged me the $60 for it.What should've only costed $140 ended up costing me over $200.

The techs are also super friendly and always welcoming and loving towards my pup :)

One of our dogs ears were infected with all the pollen. He was treated and told to return in two weeks for a no charge follow-up. We were billed another $90. We have spent over $600 at this facility in the last three months. We're finding a country vet.

This week we made the painful decision to have our beloved 16 years old Lab euthanized. From the moment we set foot in the clinic, the staff tried to make us as comfortable as possible. We were immediately escorted to a roomy examination room where they had laid a nice comforter for our dog to lay on. They took care of all the paperwork & when Dr. Channell came in, she took the time to pet Gage & explain to us what was going to happen. It was very peaceful & with no pain or stress for our boy. Though heartbroken, we have the comfort of knowing that he was surrounded by his loved ones & by caring & professional people. The next day, the florist delivered flowers from the hospital. I am so grateful to them & would all-heartedly recommend them.

I just switched to Best Care Animal Hospital after 9 1/2 years at Westlake Animal Hospital/ Westlake Animal Inn. I just picked up my dog from boarding this weekend-I am so impressed!!! First of all, Westlake only cares for the animal 2 times a day- a couple of hours in the morning, and a couple of hours in the afternoon. Best Care's kennel staff is there during their hours, ALL DAY, and 4 times a day on weekends when their hours are shorter. The receptionist, and kennel staff were so nice and caring, they made myself and my pet feel at home. Upon pick up today my dog came out happy, clean, and healthy. Let me just say in a nice way, not the case with the other place!! I am so happy that I moved my pets to Best Care. I will never leave!!!!! Big thank you to the PROFESSIONALS at Best Care, STELLAR FACILITY!!!!!
