I want to THANK Bayshore Animal Hospital!!!! We have recently moved here and I had not selected a veterinarian for our 9 year old dog. Our dog decided to get sick and I was up all night with him. I called this office, when they opened and they took us right in. Dr. Neumann was gentle, kind and loving to my little boy dog. She instantly assessed his situation and knew exactly what to offer for treatments, verses heading us into expensive testing. I am glad we now have a VET that is so wonderful...

Our poor kitty got a treble hook caught in her mouth through her tongue and lip it was a terrible and traumatic experience for our precious kitty and our family. We rushed to Bayshore and they took her immediately while we were doing paperwork they were already sedating her... it seemed not even 20 minutes passed and they were waking her up again... they were so nice, helpful and considerate! They saved our baby from terrible pain and possible permanent damage...

Don't count on help from this vet when needed. I've been going to them for about 14 years and am now fed up. The last straw happened recently. I had to go to Tampa for surgery so made arrangements to board my dog several weeks in advance. We discussed his getting a boardatello shot at the time of his arrival. Well, I then fell breaking my tail bone, was in severe pain, but hoped I could go forward with my plans. My dog was taking prosac, and needed a refill. This vet's office called saying that I had to bring him in for a full physical beforehand. It was 2 days before my surgery, lI was could hardly walk, and my vet was forcing me to get him examined at that moment. I'm sorry, but I expect more compassion and understanding from a vet that I've been seeing for so many years. Sam has been examined by this vet each year for 8 years and has no problems except agression (he's a chihuaua). Out of anger, I told them to cancel the boarding appointment, and hung up the phone. It's been a few months since my surgery. Sam is out of heartworm meds, so I'm taking him to a new vet tomorrow. Bottom line, don't go to this vet if you expect help when you need it. I feel they should have been able to work with me instead of adding to my stress.

After 5+ years of going to Bayshore my dog was passed off to the new vet at Bayshore. Dr. Richards gave my dog a death sentence and said prepare for the worst. After paying extra funds to get blood work expedited I had to follow up 4 times and she was either busy or away from work. Happy to report after establishing a new vet service my do is alive and doing well 5 months later. Stay away from the vet as they have no loyalty to their long term customers!

My dog is always out and about at the dog park, day care, and anywhere I can take him so they informed me of the rise of Dog Flu recently so I was proactive in getting him vaccinated. Luckily I did as several new cases have popped up and my Day Care is requiring it now!

I took my dog Dodger in thinking it was something small, unfortunately, not the outcome I was thinking, she called to see how he did overnight and if I had any question. I was so overwhelmed, shocked, and upset about the outcome of my dog health. I would recommend this animal hospital for everyone!

When my boyfriend and I adopted a dog with a form of mange from a local shelter, my mom told us that we should take him to her vet to get treated because she loved the doctors and staff so much. When I went for the initial exam, Dr. Neuman and her technician Lexy literally dropped to their knees to pet and love on my dog, giving him treats while subtly evaluating his body and overall health. For a dog that probably hasn't experienced much love in his life, I could tell at that moment that he was so loved and so happy!! Dr. Neuman has ALWAYS been so straight forward and SO honest, but is also so compassionate and so understanding. She has gone above and beyond our expectations, and had our dog completely treated and healed within a few months. Since then, we've rescued a second dog and now bring him to Bayshore Animal Hospital. They both FREAK OUT when we pull into the parking lot because they know they're about to get petted and fed a ton of treats! My mom and I both joke around saying that we wish we were our pets just so that we could have a doctor as thorough AND personable as Dr. Neuman. I would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone who is interested in having top-notch care for their pet from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave. Thank you Bayshore Animal Hospital for all that you've done for my family!

I then recently began to see Dr Richards as well because our pup Kimahri was diagnosed with heart disease. Dr. Richards continued wonderful treatment of our wonderful pup until he lost his battle with his multiple ailments yesterday. Up until his very last breath, Dr. Richards was there, and the kindness and love that came from BAH was so immense that it left the deepest impression in our hearts. We cannot thank you all enough for the love you gave to our pup. We are indebted to you

The vet on staff today was looking to make money only. Glad I can stand up for myself. They just wanted to do more than needed, plus they have a high office visit. No thanks. I recommend if you go to this office you bring more money than quoted or a credit card. Rip off office pricing to get you one way or the other. They don't care if you have been a paying client in the past in good standing. Surprise I can stand for what is right. Plenty of other good offices to try..

I have been going to Dr. Newman for almost 16years. I followed her from another place. I have learned so much from her and some things we have learned together. This woman has always taken such great care of all my animals! It is so hard to find anyone in any medical profession that actually cares. I've had so many emergencies over the years and always been seen right a way. The girls at the counter rock.They will work with you for the bills if you are honest. They will explain the bills if you do not understand. The office is always very clean and welcoming. Dr. Newman will always make sure your animals are comfortable and happy. I recently put my best pal and family member to sleep. Even the Dr. cried. Yes she was a Legend. Even in the most broken time of my life I felt so supported. I drive almost an hour to get to this office. What I'm saying is if you need to find a vet that cares, drive from wherever and become a lifelong friend and client.

I brought my cat in that had already passed away for a private cremation & when I went back to pick her up I was charged $175.00, I called several other local vets & I got prices from $102.00 up to $121.00. Back in October 2014 I had to put my almost 90lb dog to sleep & also a private cremation for her & that only cost just over $200. This was my 1st time going to Bayshore Animal Hospital & it will be my last time going to them.

They were very apologetic and it was understandable, they seemed busy that day. Once my appointment started the vet assistant seemed very nice and knowledgeable. My dog seemed to like her even when she took him to the back. But then I heard the doctor yelling at her assistants in the back! Then she came in and seemed a little scatter brained when looking over my dog. Her assistant looked like she was about to cry!! Then when she went back I heard her yelling again!! I felt sorry for those girls.

I love this place! Unfortunately, it took trying out Banfield to come back. I had a really bad experience at Banfield. Also, many of my neighbors take their pets here. They treat you like family and you can tell that they love all the pets that enter there. I will admit that they are not cheaper than Banfield, but you do get better quality care. I especially love Dr. Powell. Both Powell and Neumann are great veterinarians! The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I believe the costs could be a little lower. Other than that, you get what you pay for.

I found the pricing to be more than fair which is important to me as I live on a fixed income. Rori and I couldn't be more happy. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful animal hospital with such an awesome doctor and staff. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Bayshore Animal Hospital rocks!! As for the "negative" reviews....in my opinion, some people simply can't be pleased and have to find fault in others no matter what. I am so very happy I ignored those negative reviews.

Really sad veterinarians like this crook exist. If you wanted to get rich you should of been a human doctor. We went to board our dog here last year and upon arriving we were told she was missing a needed shot to be boarded. I told them no problem do what you need, she'd need it anyways. I didn't realize by telling them to do "what you need" I would be taken through the ringer. We received a bill $125 over the boarding fee. My dog received shots that were not yet required for her age, tests, and a office visit. My dog was being boarded at the office! Took me over two days to get someone on the phone with any actual animal knowledge and when I asked about the charges she mocked me about telling them to do what they needed, the tests were because she was there and a new patient (NEVER gave them any inclination that we would become clients) and the office visit was to monitor her after the shots were giving. Seriously to monitor her?! You should of already been monitoring her that's what I was originally paying you for! So all this happened almost a year ago. Yesterday my husband called them to have the records faxed over to our actual vet and it took 5 phone calls and 3 hours! He called, they promise to send them right over, never anything, he call again, they told him they never spoke to him. Finally after demanding the receptionist to fax them while he was on the phone did we actually get the records. So I am urging people to please stay away from this office. It's really a shame people use pets as a way to rip off others.

I want to THANK Bayshore Animal Hospital!!!! We have recently moved here and I had not selected a veterinarian for our 9 year old dog. Our dog decided to get sick and I was up all night with him. I called this office, when they opened and they took us right in. Dr. Neumann was gentle, kind and loving to my little boy dog. She instantly assessed his situation and knew exactly what to offer for treatments, verses heading us into expensive testing. I am glad we now have a VET that is so wonderful...

Our poor kitty got a treble hook caught in her mouth through her tongue and lip it was a terrible and traumatic experience for our precious kitty and our family. We rushed to Bayshore and they took her immediately while we were doing paperwork they were already sedating her... it seemed not even 20 minutes passed and they were waking her up again... they were so nice, helpful and considerate! They saved our baby from terrible pain and possible permanent damage...

Don't count on help from this vet when needed. I've been going to them for about 14 years and am now fed up. The last straw happened recently. I had to go to Tampa for surgery so made arrangements to board my dog several weeks in advance. We discussed his getting a boardatello shot at the time of his arrival. Well, I then fell breaking my tail bone, was in severe pain, but hoped I could go forward with my plans. My dog was taking prosac, and needed a refill. This vet's office called saying that I had to bring him in for a full physical beforehand. It was 2 days before my surgery, lI was could hardly walk, and my vet was forcing me to get him examined at that moment. I'm sorry, but I expect more compassion and understanding from a vet that I've been seeing for so many years. Sam has been examined by this vet each year for 8 years and has no problems except agression (he's a chihuaua). Out of anger, I told them to cancel the boarding appointment, and hung up the phone. It's been a few months since my surgery. Sam is out of heartworm meds, so I'm taking him to a new vet tomorrow. Bottom line, don't go to this vet if you expect help when you need it. I feel they should have been able to work with me instead of adding to my stress.

After 5+ years of going to Bayshore my dog was passed off to the new vet at Bayshore. Dr. Richards gave my dog a death sentence and said prepare for the worst. After paying extra funds to get blood work expedited I had to follow up 4 times and she was either busy or away from work. Happy to report after establishing a new vet service my do is alive and doing well 5 months later. Stay away from the vet as they have no loyalty to their long term customers!

My dog is always out and about at the dog park, day care, and anywhere I can take him so they informed me of the rise of Dog Flu recently so I was proactive in getting him vaccinated. Luckily I did as several new cases have popped up and my Day Care is requiring it now!

I took my dog Dodger in thinking it was something small, unfortunately, not the outcome I was thinking, she called to see how he did overnight and if I had any question. I was so overwhelmed, shocked, and upset about the outcome of my dog health. I would recommend this animal hospital for everyone!

When my boyfriend and I adopted a dog with a form of mange from a local shelter, my mom told us that we should take him to her vet to get treated because she loved the doctors and staff so much. When I went for the initial exam, Dr. Neuman and her technician Lexy literally dropped to their knees to pet and love on my dog, giving him treats while subtly evaluating his body and overall health. For a dog that probably hasn't experienced much love in his life, I could tell at that moment that he was so loved and so happy!! Dr. Neuman has ALWAYS been so straight forward and SO honest, but is also so compassionate and so understanding. She has gone above and beyond our expectations, and had our dog completely treated and healed within a few months. Since then, we've rescued a second dog and now bring him to Bayshore Animal Hospital. They both FREAK OUT when we pull into the parking lot because they know they're about to get petted and fed a ton of treats! My mom and I both joke around saying that we wish we were our pets just so that we could have a doctor as thorough AND personable as Dr. Neuman. I would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone who is interested in having top-notch care for their pet from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave. Thank you Bayshore Animal Hospital for all that you've done for my family!

I then recently began to see Dr Richards as well because our pup Kimahri was diagnosed with heart disease. Dr. Richards continued wonderful treatment of our wonderful pup until he lost his battle with his multiple ailments yesterday. Up until his very last breath, Dr. Richards was there, and the kindness and love that came from BAH was so immense that it left the deepest impression in our hearts. We cannot thank you all enough for the love you gave to our pup. We are indebted to you

The vet on staff today was looking to make money only. Glad I can stand up for myself. They just wanted to do more than needed, plus they have a high office visit. No thanks. I recommend if you go to this office you bring more money than quoted or a credit card. Rip off office pricing to get you one way or the other. They don't care if you have been a paying client in the past in good standing. Surprise I can stand for what is right. Plenty of other good offices to try..

I have been going to Dr. Newman for almost 16years. I followed her from another place. I have learned so much from her and some things we have learned together. This woman has always taken such great care of all my animals! It is so hard to find anyone in any medical profession that actually cares. I've had so many emergencies over the years and always been seen right a way. The girls at the counter rock.They will work with you for the bills if you are honest. They will explain the bills if you do not understand. The office is always very clean and welcoming. Dr. Newman will always make sure your animals are comfortable and happy. I recently put my best pal and family member to sleep. Even the Dr. cried. Yes she was a Legend. Even in the most broken time of my life I felt so supported. I drive almost an hour to get to this office. What I'm saying is if you need to find a vet that cares, drive from wherever and become a lifelong friend and client.

Back in October 2014 I had to put my almost 90lb dog to sleep & also a private cremation for her & that only cost just over $200. This was my 1st time going to Bayshore Animal Hospital & it will be my last time going to them.

They were very apologetic and it was understandable, they seemed busy that day. Once my appointment started the vet assistant seemed very nice and knowledgeable. My dog seemed to like her even when she took him to the back. But then I heard the doctor yelling at her assistants in the back! Then she came in and seemed a little scatter brained when looking over my dog. Her assistant looked like she was about to cry!! Then when she went back I heard her yelling again!! I felt sorry for those girls.

I love this place! Unfortunately, it took trying out Banfield to come back. I had a really bad experience at Banfield. Also, many of my neighbors take their pets here. They treat you like family and you can tell that they love all the pets that enter there. I will admit that they are not cheaper than Banfield, but you do get better quality care. I especially love Dr. Powell. Both Powell and Neumann are great veterinarians! The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I believe the costs could be a little lower. Other than that, you get what you pay for.

I found the pricing to be more than fair which is important to me as I live on a fixed income. Rori and I couldn't be more happy. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful animal hospital with such an awesome doctor and staff. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Bayshore Animal Hospital rocks!! As for the "negative" reviews....in my opinion, some people simply can't be pleased and have to find fault in others no matter what. I am so very happy I ignored those negative reviews.

Really sad veterinarians like this crook exist. If you wanted to get rich you should of been a human doctor. We went to board our dog here last year and upon arriving we were told she was missing a needed shot to be boarded. I told them no problem do what you need, she'd need it anyways. I didn't realize by telling them to do "what you need" I would be taken through the ringer. We received a bill $125 over the boarding fee. My dog received shots that were not yet required for her age, tests, and a office visit. My dog was being boarded at the office! Took me over two days to get someone on the phone with any actual animal knowledge and when I asked about the charges she mocked me about telling them to do what they needed, the tests were because she was there and a new patient (NEVER gave them any inclination that we would become clients) and the office visit was to monitor her after the shots were giving. Seriously to monitor her?! You should of already been monitoring her that's what I was originally paying you for! So all this happened almost a year ago. Yesterday my husband called them to have the records faxed over to our actual vet and it took 5 phone calls and 3 hours! He called, they promise to send them right over, never anything, he call again, they told him they never spoke to him. Finally after demanding the receptionist to fax them while he was on the phone did we actually get the records. So I am urging people to please stay away from this office. It's really a shame people use pets as a way to rip off others.
