Took our Baby "Bella" 10 yr. old Shicon for her annual checkup with Dr. Vickie Scott. She is such a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable, Veternarian. Bella had a physical exam, her annual DAPPVL4 Vaccine, a blood glucose as she is a Diabetic, a heartworm test - Lyme-Ehrlichia-Anaplasma Test, both ears cleaned and examined, and both eyes checked due to her diabetes.....She is starting to go blind and her skin checked for fleas. (She had none). What wonderful care and attention my baby got. We love Dr. Scott! She is so patient and thorough. $162.00. Not a bad price at all!! I took my English Bulldog and Pug for new patient visit. Really liked Dr. Scott. On my way out I was introduced to a beautiful English Bulldog that had been surrendered with her brother. She needed to be fixed and had a horrible cherry eye that needed surgery. The office manager was taking the brother and I was told Bella would be a great addition to my family. My family and I visited Bella who was crated for 6 weeks, while waiting for Dr Scott to do her surgery even through I offered to pay and take her to specialist. Bella sat for 3 months at this vet when she could have been in a loving home, I offered to foster. One day Teresa the office manager part owner just came out and told me she changed her mind and thought she would take her. My family was devastated, at this point it didn’t matter how much I liked Dr Scott the uneducated hillbilly office manager is making the decisions. I had 30k people from a website and wink news that wanted to get involved after seeing all my videos of my family and I with Bella but I believe everything happens for a reason and she will get hers. 😢😢😢 Read Less

My dog recently had a seizure and took it in as he was unresponsive they looked at him and said there are no doctors available if you really care for animals wouldn't u do something I had to take him to another vet luckily he is ok no thanks to these people do yourself a favor and go to someone who cares about ur pet all they care about is moneyRead Less

They were the most caring vet I've ever been to. Dr. Scott takes her time with your pet and doesn't rush..my pet was very sick and they rushed him in even tho they had appointments. There were so many nice clients who understood! Thank you to all who were waiting! The prices were very reasonable and the hours were great! I will be taking my pet there from now on! Read Less

My Boston Terrier was bit by something which made him start to swell and get hives all over..we rushed him in for fear his throat was going too swell and close. Even though this was a Saturdsy morning and they already had scheduled appointments, with no hesitation they got him in right away and took care of the allergic reaction. Sometimes in life you make statements that you regret and are sorry for and you just have to be adult enough to admit it. Well that was the case today. I said some very bad things about the good people at this office that I'm now regretting. I have already removed that statement but would like say a few good things about the people at North Shore Animal Hospital. Monday I had a hard time with them because of a miscommunication about my Rosie girls surgery she was supposed to have and was very hard on Dr Scott and her staff and for that I am sorry. Today my Rosie girl had surgery to remove a cancer in her toe and also to remove two other lumps on her back and her leg. The surgery went well and Dr Scott called me and gave me the good news. This was around 1:45pm. But later on aprox 6:45pm Doctor Scott called me and told me Rosie had taken a turn for the worse. Rosie's stomach had twisted and was blowing up like a balloon, there's a big word for this condition but I can't remember what it was. Dr Scott consulted with the good people at the emergency vet clinic and they told her it would be 5000.00 to do an operation to save Rosie's life but that was a price to high for us and Dr Scott knew this so she asked them if there was anything else she could do to save our Rosie and the emergency vet advised her what to do, but I think Dr Scott already knew what she was going to do. Dr Scott put a tube down Rosie's throat, into Rosie's stomach to relieve the bloat and was successful in her procedure. We are guardedly optimistic about Rosie's outcome because she is healthy but old and we all know that unfortunately there's only so much that can be done but we are hoping for the best. Dr Scott and her staff tirelessly gave it their all and in our opinion have gone above and beyond to save our sweet Rosie's life and for that we are eternally grateful. Had an appt today at 820 was there by 813. The first one there. I ended up leaving at 8:50 as we were not even put into a room yet. Thirty minutes after my appoint time and I'm still waiting in the waiting room. No other patient there and I cant even be waited on. Our time is just as important. Very upsetting. Read Less

I called North Shore because of a possible UTI in my dog. They gave me an appointment that morning and Dr. Vicky Scott examined my dog and prescribed antibiotics. Dr. Scott was very personable and explained everything to me. I was very happy with Dr. Scott and North Shore Animal Hospital. I would recommend them. Read Less

After reading the bad review, I felt I had to write a good one. About a year ago, we took our dog to this clinic when my dog became very ill on a day when our vet was not in. This office squeezed us in. Although we had to wait quite awhile, the vet who saw us gave very good care, and within 1 day our dog was much improved. I had to pay for an emergency visit, but Sophie is our beloved dog and an important part of our family. The vet and her staff were very caring, very good with us and with our Sophie. They did not know us at all, but they did everything I could have asked for. If I ever choose to leave our current vet, I would feel very comfortable taking our dog here. Read Less

My friend had to rush my older dog to this vet this past Monday afternoon. My friend said that all of the staff were very knowledgeable and very compassionate. Thanks to everybody who took care of my little girl. She is getting better every day. I don't normally do reviews, but had to look up their address and found that hateful review. I have had cats for many years. My last two Siamese were cared for by these vets from the time they were 7 months old until they passed over the rainbow bridge. I now have two new kittens and they will also be cared for by this establishment. The staff is caring, there are always people coming and going, everything is explained before it is done. I can't imagine that prior review bears no resemblance to the experiences I have had there with my animals. I recommend it. Read Less
