These guys are the absolute best!!! I've been taking my dogs here since I moved to the area in 2013 and I would never go anywhere else! The staff is super friendly and the doctors are the best around! They actually care and are not just after your money! I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else!

I have two dogs my first is my max 3 year old shih Tzu I took him to so many vets for his check up and they always gave max clean bill of health spent the usual 5 min quick look at him and set me to the check out counter . I moved to north miami and got my second dog my puppy Lexi so needed to find a vet she needed her first pupoy shots so i googled vets near me and kind animal hospital was first thank god!! I expected the usual vet visit quick look shots and out the door .. max always licked his paws constantly so to my surprise Dr Basta took his time to thoroughly looked at max literally head to toe and found he was suffering from yeast on his toe nails my poor baby has been with a itchy yeast issue and all the vets he has seen has never looked at his nails . He even let me look at microscope and took down his medical book to show me and explain what I was looking at .. and he did the same with my Lexi as she had worms which I expected as she was only 5 weeks old but again he let me look through the microscope and showed me in text book what I was looking at and in detail explained thing to me along with the care plan, no vet has EVER let me look in the microscope , I find the refreshing as a dog mommy who my dogs mean everything to, so to find a vet that actually cares about the animal and the heath of the animal and enough to really explain thing in terms i would understand is so amazing I'm so glad I found him and that my dogs are in the best care possible.. the staff is so nice as well it's just over all a AWESOME place and I'm so grateful to have him as my pets doctor . If I could give more stars I would because I can't stress enough how great a vet he is.. I highly recommend him to all my friends whenever the word vet comes up I trust him to the fullest with my pets.. which says alot I don't trust anybody with my babies ..

I'm so happy I found this clinic after bad experience we had in Aventura's clinic. Dr Basta is great. When we got there for our first check up he spent about an hour with us, explaining things and checking my dog. His assistant and the girl at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. They also have phone app and now I can see vaccinations history, my appointments and all information about my dog. I highly recommend this hospital.

We've been coming here for years for both of my dogs. Theres nobody else we trust more than Dr. Basta, and the veterinary techs who work there are also nothing short of awesome! They're knowledgeable and very friendly & really take their time with your fur baby. They'll talk to you like a person so you really know whats happening & treat your pet like their own and not just another number. They've always made us feel welcome. Dr. Basta is GREAT!!....very knowledgeable......wants what is best for your pet and not what is best for him.....honest.....informative with present as well as preventive care.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A+++++++++++++++ in every way! And my dog had surgery yesterday and was treated like a princess! She came out smiling and I came out with GREAT follow up care instructions (even got a text of her right after surgery with a cute note "from her!") and a bill that was very reasonable......I wouldn't trust anyone else with my precious Lucy!!!!!

I met Dr B after I arrived from NYC with my 15 year-old chihuahua, 'Xactly, who had CHF and eventually, kidney issues. He was always thorough and kind, and when he felt like 'Xac's issues were worsening, he referred me to a great specialist. He continued to follow 'Xac's case regardless, and talked me through some challenging times. When he finally passed, Dr B was a supportive friend who assured me I had done more than everything right for my little guy, and that I had given him more than the best care, I had added GOOD years to his life. Dr B was key in my being able to let go of the guilt and doubt that comes with having to let your baby go. And this was long after we'd left his practice - the guy is not about the almighty dollar. He's a true friend and a great doc. You can't go wrong.

I have been taking my 8 year old pug Lola to see Dr. Basta for a few years now. He is always very gentle and nice to her, and so is the staff. Everyone at the clinic is very patient with me, answering all my questions and explaining everything in detail. Dr. Basta has called me on numerous occasions to follow up on Lola's health, and answer any questions. Lola has had surgeries at Kind Animal Hospital -- one to both spay, and take care of her teeth. She recovered well! So, overall... I'm very satisfied :)

This place is real unprofessional. My cat had some irritation on her skin so we took her to Kind Animal Hospital to check it out. The assistant (with tattoos and large gauge earrings) was showing off...
This place is real unprofessional. My cat had some irritation on her skin so we took her to Kind Animal Hospital to check it out. The assistant (with tattoos and large gauge earrings) was showing off his scars on his hand from previous cats he mishandled as we were waiting for the vet. The vet and assistant look like people who robbed the place than dressed up as and pretend to be veterinarians. In some attempt to examine my cat, they lunged at her to cover her with some raggedy towel and forcefully grabbed her to prevent resistance. Of course, she was all wild now as the vet speculated that the skin irritation could be the result of an allergy from incense, lotion, or something in our house. We literally walked out and went to another place down the street who gave my cat antibiotics and and ointment. I found them to be just plain incompetent.

After getting a bad vibe from a previous animal hospital and then being told that it was best my rottie be put to sleep.. I had to get a 2nd opinion... And I'm so glad I did. Kind Animal Hospital quickly made time to see us and soon after was performing surgery on Jeremiah. Turns out that he did not have cancer or a tumor as the previous hospital suggested.. Dr. Diaz called me as soon as the surgery was complete.. Jeremiah apparently swallowed one of my son's toy balls and it was blocking his small intestines.. In the morning I was surprised and happy to receive a follow up e-mail with a picture of my baby. Not even 24 hrs later and he was back to himself. Thank you sooo much Kind Animal Hospital!

I can't say enough of how thrilled I am about Dr. Basta Jr. he saved my puppy's life. My dog had pneomonia and didn't have a high chance of living and Dr. Basta Jr. was able to bring life back into my puppy. My puppy had to stay at the hospital to recover and Dr. Basta would send me pictures and call me everyday to give me an update. You have no idea what a consolation that was. For anybody out there that is looking to have their pet in hands of somebody that actually cares and is professional, this is the best place to visit.

After adopting our dog, we needed to find a vet close to home. We took a look at the surrounding vets and hospitals and I chose Kind based off of their up-to-date website. I'm glad I did.Making a reservation was simple and easy. The staff was friendly and calm, which helped keep our dog calm as well.Dr. Basta explained the information around the vaccinations and what their purpose was. He also helped us understand our options and gave us several different alternatives for products and services.He was honest with us about pricing and let us know when (and more importantly why) there were cheaper alternatives and left the decisions up to us as to where to go for future service. No pushing products or services here, which made me feel pretty comfortable.We left a little wiser and they even threw in a couple of free meds which was pretty cool.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Basta for years...one of them I found abandoned by her mother at one day old, and Dr. Basta helped me nurse her until she was out of the woods, despite a variety of medical problems in her first 4 weeks and then again as an adult. He explains exactly what he sees the problems as, explains exactly what he is going to do and the different options available, and his staff is very friendly and they always follow up when there has been a serious problem. He's performed surgery twice on one of my cats (spay and an exploratory surgery for her stomach problems) and spayed my other female. I trust them completely with my babies. Thanks!

I found this place when I first moved here 5 years ago and I'm so glad I did. I have a pet with seizures so it's very hard for me to trust people to take care of her. Dr. Basta is the only person I would trust to take care of my pet and regularly refer friends with pets to him. Dr. Basta may be tall (I think about 6'6") and imposing but he's the nicest guy. You can tell he really enjoys working with animals and takes his time to let the pet become familiar with him before jumping in so he doesn't scare them. The location is a bit far from me (I used to live in Aventura but relocated to Brickell) but Dr. Basta and his team (specifically Kenny) are the best so I deal with it.Highly recommended.

We found this place after not wanting to deal with another animal hospital no longer. We needed to get to another place to get a real full check-up for our dog, Pookie, before boarding her. This place was it. They solved that problem with no hassle and they were thorough with whatever they were doing. Honesty and up to a point was all we needed. The receptionist wasn't phony at all & Dr. Basta also seemed so affectionate with my Pookie.

I have two dogs my first is my max 3 year old shih Tzu I took him to so many vets for his check up and they always gave max clean bill of health spent the usual 5 min quick look at him and set me to the check out counter . I moved to north miami and got my second dog my puppy Lexi so needed to find a vet she needed her first pupoy shots so i googled vets near me and kind animal hospital was first thank god!! I expected the usual vet visit quick look shots and out the door .. max always licked his paws constantly so to my surprise Dr Basta took his time to thoroughly looked at max literally head to toe and found he was suffering from yeast on his toe nails my poor baby has been with a itchy yeast issue and all the vets he has seen has never looked at his nails . He even let me look at microscope and took down his medical book to show me and explain what I was looking at .. and he did the same with my Lexi as she had worms which I expected as she was only 5 weeks old but again he let me look through the microscope and showed me in text book what I was looking at and in detail explained thing to me along with the care plan, no vet has EVER let me look in the microscope , I find the refreshing as a dog mommy who my dogs mean everything to, so to find a vet that actually cares about the animal and the heath of the animal and enough to really explain thing in terms i would understand is so amazing I'm so glad I found him and that my dogs are in the best care possible.. the staff is so nice as well it's just over all a AWESOME place and I'm so grateful to have him as my pets doctor . If I could give more stars I would because I can't stress enough how great a vet he is.. I highly recommend him to all my friends whenever the word vet comes up I trust him to the fullest with my pets.. which says alot I don't trust anybody with my babies ..

I'm so happy I found this clinic after bad experience we had in Aventura's clinic. Dr Basta is great. When we got there for our first check up he spent about an hour with us, explaining things and checking my dog. His assistant and the girl at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. They also have phone app and now I can see vaccinations history, my appointments and all information about my dog. I highly recommend this hospital.

He spoke to honestly about her condition and was very caring when it was time to put her down. He even sent me a hand written personal condolence card after her death. I am moving to Australia for good and I am taking my dog "Honey" with me. They have been wonderful helping me through all this difficult process even reminding me the appointments so i can get everything done on time. They also care, love and understand dogs psychology. Honey is not an easy dog, she is tiny and afraid of people as she was rescued from a Shelter but here they know how to handle her and she does not feel scared and I trust them completely. Love the vets and service here.

We've been coming here for years for both of my dogs. Theres nobody else we trust more than Dr. Basta, and the veterinary techs who work there are also nothing short of awesome! They're knowledgeable and very friendly & really take their time with your fur baby. They'll talk to you like a person so you really know whats happening & treat your pet like their own and not just another number. They've always made us feel welcome. My dog loves coming here and so did my previous one too. Highly recommend!

Dr. Basta is GREAT!!....very knowledgeable......wants what is best for your pet and not what is best for him.....honest.....informative with present as well as preventive care.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A+++++++++++++++ in every way! And my dog had surgery yesterday and was treated like a princess! She came out smiling and I came out with GREAT follow up care instructions (even got a text of her right after surgery with a cute note "from her!") and a bill that was very reasonable......I wouldn't trust anyone else with my precious Lucy!!!!!

I met Dr B after I arrived from NYC with my 15 year-old chihuahua, 'Xactly, who had CHF and eventually, kidney issues. He was always thorough and kind, and when he felt like 'Xac's issues were worsening, he referred me to a great specialist. He continued to follow 'Xac's case regardless, and talked me through some challenging times. When he finally passed, Dr B was a supportive friend who assured me I had done more than everything right for my little guy, and that I had given him more than the best care, I had added GOOD years to his life. Dr B was key in my being able to let go of the guilt and doubt that comes with having to let your baby go. And this was long after we'd left his practice - the guy is not about the almighty dollar. He's a true friend and a great doc. You can't go wrong.

I have been taking my 8 year old pug Lola to see Dr. Basta for a few years now. He is always very gentle and nice to her, and so is the staff. Everyone at the clinic is very patient with me, answering all my questions and explaining everything in detail. Dr. Basta has called me on numerous occasions to follow up on Lola's health, and answer any questions. Lola has had surgeries at Kind Animal Hospital -- one to both spay, and take care of her teeth. She recovered well! So, overall... I'm very satisfied :)

This place is real unprofessional. My cat had some irritation on her skin so we took her to Kind Animal Hospital to check it out. The assistant (with tattoos and large gauge earrings) was showing off his scars on his hand from previous cats he mishandled as we were waiting for the vet. The vet and assistant look like people who robbed the place than dressed up as and pretend to be veterinarians. In some attempt to examine my cat, they lunged at her to cover her with some raggedy towel and forcefully grabbed her to prevent resistance. Of course, she was all wild now as the vet speculated that the skin irritation could be the result of an allergy from incense, lotion, or something in our house. We literally walked out and went to another place down the street who gave my cat antibiotics and and ointment. I found them to be just plain incompetent.

After getting a bad vibe from a previous animal hospital and then being told that it was best my rottie be put to sleep.. I had to get a 2nd opinion... And I'm so glad I did. Kind Animal Hospital quickly made time to see us and soon after was performing surgery on Jeremiah. Turns out that he did not have cancer or a tumor as the previous hospital suggested.. Dr. Diaz called me as soon as the surgery was complete.. Jeremiah apparently swallowed one of my son's toy balls and it was blocking his small intestines.. In the morning I was surprised and happy to receive a follow up e-mail with a picture of my baby. Not even 24 hrs later and he was back to himself. Thank you sooo much Kind Animal Hospital!

I can't say enough of how thrilled I am about Dr. Basta Jr. he saved my puppy's life. My dog had pneomonia and didn't have a high chance of living and Dr. Basta Jr. was able to bring life back into my puppy. My puppy had to stay at the hospital to recover and Dr. Basta would send me pictures and call me everyday to give me an update. You have no idea what a consolation that was. For anybody out there that is looking to have their pet in hands of somebody that actually cares and is professional, this is the best place to visit.

After adopting our dog, we needed to find a vet close to home. We took a look at the surrounding vets and hospitals and I chose Kind based off of their up-to-date website. I'm glad I did.Making a reservation was simple and easy. The staff was friendly and calm, which helped keep our dog calm as well.Dr. Basta explained the information around the vaccinations and what their purpose was. He also helped us understand our options and gave us several different alternatives for products and services.He was honest with us about pricing and let us know when (and more importantly why) there were cheaper alternatives and left the decisions up to us as to where to go for future service. No pushing products or services here, which made me feel pretty comfortable.We left a little wiser and they even threw in a couple of free meds which was pretty cool.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Basta for years...one of them I found abandoned by her mother at one day old, and Dr. Basta helped me nurse her until she was out of the woods, despite a variety of medical problems in her first 4 weeks and then again as an adult. He explains exactly what he sees the problems as, explains exactly what he is going to do and the different options available, and his staff is very friendly and they always follow up when there has been a serious problem. He's performed surgery twice on one of my cats (spay and an exploratory surgery for her stomach problems) and spayed my other female. I trust them completely with my babies. Thanks!

I found this place when I first moved here 5 years ago and I'm so glad I did. I have a pet with seizures so it's very hard for me to trust people to take care of her. Dr. Basta is the only person I would trust to take care of my pet and regularly refer friends with pets to him. Dr. Basta may be tall (I think about 6'6") and imposing but he's the nicest guy. You can tell he really enjoys working with animals and takes his time to let the pet become familiar with him before jumping in so he doesn't scare them. The location is a bit far from me (I used to live in Aventura but relocated to Brickell) but Dr. Basta and his team (specifically Kenny) are the best so I deal with it.Highly recommended.

We found this place after not wanting to deal with another animal hospital no longer. We needed to get to another place to get a real full check-up for our dog, Pookie, before boarding her. This place was it. They solved that problem with no hassle and they were thorough with whatever they were doing. Honesty and up to a point was all we needed. The receptionist wasn't phony at all & Dr. Basta also seemed so affectionate with my Pookie.
