Dexters @ Prosperity Animal Clinic

North Palm Beach, Florida
General Info
Families in North Palm Beach and nearby Florida areas work with Dexters @ Prosperity Animal Clinic to create intricate veterinary care methods that focus on building trust through sensory observation and maintaining stability. Initial appointments focus on creating a comfortable environment where pets can explore the area and show their responses without any rush. Before initiating any physical examination the veterinary team looks for subtle indicators such as eye movements tail positions gait changes and pressure sensitivity. Physical checkups encompass joint tracking hydration analysis weight monitoring gum tone coat texture and thermal regulation patterns. The process involves owners documenting morning routines along with sleep cycles and vocal tendencies while noting recent behavioral deviations. Prosperity Animal Clinic's Dexter provides veterinary treatment plans for acute medical issues alongside surgical care and seasonal health adjustments as well as management of chronic conditions. Support encompasses laboratory evaluations, imaging referrals, infection control measures, senior animal care protocols, and emotionally-informed recovery checklists. The arrangement and timing of plans are structured to minimize stress while keeping the owner informed without feeling overwhelmed which is particularly beneficial for individuals handling multiple pets or intricate medical conditions. Communication is central. Post-visit notes dispatch occurs after every appointment while optional follow-ups depend on pet adjustment progress instead of standard calendar prompts. The instruction of owners involves recognizing subtle regression signs as well as determining when their pets are ready for the next developmental step. Long-term care includes pacing choice-based scheduling and reassurance strategies. Dexters @ Prosperity Animal Clinic delivers veterinary services in North Palm Beach and throughout Florida by basing care on animal behavior and family input which leads to consistent stable compassionate care plans from beginning to end.

My name is Jennifer and I am writing a fact based review of my experience with Prosperity animal clinic and Dr. Bose Anne, veterinarian. This dr who has “practiced for 30 years” was suppose to spay our pup and instead severely cut and detached her bladder from her urethra and right uterer and did not spay her. She suffered for 3 days until we brought her to Jupiter pet hospital and specialty center where they discovered the horror she had just been through and undergo to emergency surgery to save her life. On Wednesday 6/16/2021, Shoopie was scheduled for a spay and biopsy of a cyst that was found a month earlier. We went through Prosperity Animal Clinic in North Palm Beach, FL under Dr. Saraschandra Bose Anne . We brought her at 9 am and around 12-1 pm we received a phone call from the clinic asking "where was the cyst again? Is it the one by her shoulder?" and immediately corrected them. This should of been the time to call it off and prevent what any pet owner would call their worst nightmare. Later that afternoon, we received a call from the clinic manager, Ashley Cook, staring the spay did not go as expected and tried for 3 hours to control excessive bleeding and did not proceed with the spay or biopsy and thus ended the procedure and that she would need to stay the night. After hearing such horrible news, I rushed to the clinic to see my pup and talk to the Dr. When I found her in a metal crate lying lifeless on a hard board of plastic with no IV or sign of monitoring of vitals I immediately panicked and realized I made a horrible mistake to put my pup through this uncessesary trauma. For the next 3 days, she did not show signs of improvement - had no appetite, threw up persistantly did not drink water, refused medication and on the 3rd day saw her abdomen becoming distended and bloody urine which we later found out was seeping out of her incision. (We also went back to the clinic the first 2 days with our concerns with just the treatment of IV fluids and injection medication with no proper assessment of her status such as labs or referral to ER) I immediately brought her to a specialized 24/7 emergency pet hospital and they soon started to uncover the horror Shoopie has had just gone through... They did bloodwork, ultrasound, and contrast initially which showed her white blood cell counts very low, kidneys inflammed, and contrast leaking into the abdomen from the foley catheter. She had visible leakage from the bladder Coming from her surgery incision. She was septic and needed emergency surgery right away. Sunday came and her blood levels did improve and decided to move forward with the surgery as this was her only hope to live otherwise as the Dr. stated " she would likely continue to deteriorate" if they waited any longer. After 4.5 hours of extensive surgery, the Dr. unfortunately found the bladder detached from the urethra ,the right ureter severed and purulent fluid near the bladder rupture / severed uterer. This specialized surgeon meticulously reconstructed the connection between the bladder, urethra and right ureter and also found sutures in many different areas which also had to be removed. After 5 days of recovery, inflammation from the healing process Eventually cut off the connection between her kidney and bladder again and we had to make the difficult decision to end her suffering and lay her to rest. We never received a follow up phone call from the veterinarian nor the clinic After the first 2 days. And when the medical notes were requested the medical notes state she was under surgery for 1 hour which was not what was stated to us as 3 hours multiple times. When the clinic was notified of her passing we never received any form of response or communication from Dr or Ashley cook either. she did not deserve this type of violation and mutulation to her body or to almost end her life in such a tragic and neglectful way. I dont usually post reviews, but I feel that my recent experience with Dr. Bose at Prosperity Animal Clinic warrants one. Unfortunately, Ive recently lost my 9-year-old boxer Chestnut to lymphoma. Dr. Bose was the primary vet and I feel that his negligent approach contributed to my pets death. I brought my pet in as soon as I noticed a couple of tumors and enlarged lymph nodes and his insatiable thirst. During the checkup he told me he wasnt sure what it was and that boxRead Less
