We used to go to a Veterinarian in Jupiter, where we live, and had numerous incidences of mixed up lab work, wrong records in our files, and more. We thought that this was our only problem. Our beloved Marina (Potcake Dog) had been deteriorating for about 6 months, and the old Veterinarian told us she was fine, and to take her back home. We sought out recommendations from friends, and the name Village Animal Clinic kept popping up, so we took Marina to them. We also had an older male cat, and a female mixed rescue. The people at Village Animal, who had never met us before, greeted us like family. They determined that there was absolutely issues with our dog, and set up a referral to see a Neurologist. While there, we wanted to move our cats over, so they examined them. They determined that the male cat had two abscessed teeth (he had just SUPPOSEDLY had them cleaned at old vet), and they asked what kind of heart meds our female was on. it turned out the female had had a progressive heart disease for years. We were referred to a cardiac specialist, and through medication, halted buildup in her heart, and had her for many years after. We continue to take our furry family to Village, driving past who knows how many veterinary offices, because we know they care. We have a 4 month old Lab puppy now, and a 3 year old exotic cat, and they love them both. We won't go anywhere else, and just wish we had found them years earlier. I don't know how they do it, but they always know who we are when we stop in to pick up food, or medication, and ask about our cat and dog, by name, without having to look in the files to see who we are. They really care......
