I just wanted to say, I brought my dog here a week ago for an emergency visit. The doctor said he had pneumonia and after the treatment the doctor said he will be fine and just needs to take the medicine. However he obviously say he couldn't breathe by himself. I thought he can stay overnight, but she only kept him for 4hrs. The second day i brought him back she say his breathing was still weak and she did nothing (my dog was 11 but was very healthy) she simply gave him addition medicine for eating and food for him to eat yet he never ate it. I do believe she didn't care nor didn't know what to do.
If you have a dog with an emergency I recommend not taking them here.
I don't judge all the doctors there but the one who attended my dog didn't put the necessary attention or needed treatment for him. I've taken him there before and he was treated him with such care and love.
A doctor must have the care and belief to treat animals. Not just cause it's their job. 😔
The recipionisnt are very nice but they need all staff to be more caring of when this occurs.
My dog died two days after the visit.🙁😢

The BEST vet! Dr. Vaujin and the staff are always amazing, nice, caring, patient, and positive. Been bringing our cats here for over 10 years, and they always get first class service. One of the cats is feral and has tempter issues, and the staff always finds a way to help him. The service is professional and friendly.
If you are lucky enough to live around the area, look no further, this clinic is a gem! Prices are amazingly reasonable for the high level of service, and the facility is brand new and beautiful.
Happy to recommend this vet to anyone that cares about the well being of their pet!

My cat was blocked and unable to urinate in great pain. They saw us on a Sunday and were able to get a catheter in him and treat him very economically and with great caring. He recovered completely and if we had waited he could have died.
An ER visit would have been 10x the price.
The Dr. And staff were here professional and kind. Do not hesitate to use this center for your pet.

Heroes is a great place to take your pets for veterinary care. All of the veterinarians, assistants to the vets are kind, compassionate but most of all take care of your pets health needs. Ashley at the reception desk is absolutely wonderful and really goes above and beyond to make sure you and your pets leave healthy and happy. All of the ladies there.

Reception was a little busy on phones when I came in but they still were very nice and attentive with us as soon as we walked in, once we got in the exam room the vet tech was very sweet with us and so was the doctor, they were also very quick and clean with cutting our scared dog's nails and they did everything nice and slow, being gentle with my baby, would definitely recommend and nail trimming here is fairly cheap.

We scheduled with Mike. Nice guy. I was referred by a long time customer. My wife drove the 1 hour to the location. I started calling 1 hour before appointment to let them know she was running late to see if we should still come. No answer after I called 5 times. Five times, FIVE TIMES. NO VOICEMAIL. My Wife called FIVE TIMES TOO. When wife showed up on April 26th the you girls were rude and told her have a seat you'll have to wait. Wife asked approximately how long & they ABSOLUTELY would NOT give her any kind of answer. 45 mins, 2 hrs etc. NOTHING. My wife is terribly ill and her Dr's appointment had lasted much longer than anticipated. Thats why she & I called. I also called the Emergency line & another hospital answered & said they're not even associated with Heroes but we should probably go ahead and still go. HUGE WASTE OF TIME W A SICK DOG & SICK WIFE. Folks that make the appointment are nice but the phone system stinks and the young girls working their obviously were not raised right. NO MANNERS OR CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS!!!!!

Great veterinarian and staff helping out my cat working with me with his problems and health I will always come here I had a veterinarian did not do as much as they should have done but Heroes is great they just talked to you understand your feelings and your concern I give it 5 stars hands down they are still working on my cat but I see a great Improvement and will never go anywhere else after finding this place take my word for it bring your animals here!!! He stayed overnight at Heroes and in one day I see a big Improvement I thought I was going to have to put my baby down and would it just tore me up thank God for this place!

I've been going to Heroes & Dr Cometto for a few years now. I started going when they were in Pompano and follow them to Oakland Park even though it's further away from my house. The whole staff is wonderful & accommodating. My cats are always so well taken care of by everyone... I have never felt rushed during appointments. They really take the time to answer all of your questions and figure out the best course of action. The prices are extremely reasonable too.

When I worked as a manager at Petco, I used to refer pet parents to this little vet that operated next to a groomer around the corner from us because I always heard such great things about them.
Then I had my own wonderful experience with them that has made me a customer now for 9 years. I witnessed a woman dumping a dog out of her car in an abandoned parking lot. I turned my car around immediately and picked the animal up. He looked like death. Completely neglected, horribly mangled with an oozing wound on its side. I rushed the pup to the this vet that I had heard so many wonderful feedback and only then did I realize why they were called Heroes.
Dr Vijuan was simply amazing. The care and immediate attention that she gave to this poor animal brought me to tears. She took him into surgery that day and saved a life with nothing in it for her than her own compassion and need to help animals. She then placed this pup in a wonderful home with a friend of hers where he lived like a king.
Fast forward to 2017 and I got a new puppy and have taken her to Dr V a few times now. They have a gorgeous brand new building on Commercial Blvd and Dr V and her staff are still simply amazing. The best part is that a visit here will never break the bank, they are still as affordable as ever. I will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of vet care for their fur babies! Dr Vijuan is our Hero!!

I brought my senior rescue Pomeranian in for a teeth cleaning this week and I had a great experience. Her teeth were basically rotten, had been bleeding from the gums and obviously had been in a lot of pain. Today, I immediately noticed her breath no longer had any smell and when I checked out her teeth, I was delighted to see them looking like new again. I can't believe how white and clean they are now after the shape they were in. Dr. Goldblatt did a phenomenal job! The best part was the reasonable price. I will definitely be bringing both my dogs to Heroes again. Thank you to the entire team! =)

Heroes is so wonderful! They were so loving to my baby Sadie and found her problem super quick. I've been to vets that only care about selling you things and hardly pay attention to my pet but it was easy to see my baby was their MAIN concern at Heroes. I'd highly recommend them for any issue your pet may have. I can't stress enough how great they are. My pets comfort was their priority and I can say with confidence that I will go there every single time for both my cats and dog!

I just wanted to say, I brought my dog here a week ago for an emergency visit. The doctor said he had pneumonia and after the treatment the doctor said he will be fine and just needs to take the medicine. However he obviously say he couldn't breathe by himself. I thought he can stay overnight, but she only kept him for 4hrs. The second day i brought him back she say his breathing was still weak and she did nothing (my dog was 11 but was very healthy) she simply gave him addition medicine for eating and food for him to eat yet he never ate it. I do believe she didn't care nor didn't know what to do.
If you have a dog with an emergency I recommend not taking them here.

I've been going to Heroes & Dr Cometto for a few years now. I started going when they were in Pompano and follow them to Oakland Park even though it's further away from my house. The whole staff is wonderful & accommodating. My cats are always so well taken care of by everyone... I have never felt rushed during appointments. They really take the time to answer all of your questions and figure out the best course of action. The prices are extremely reasonable too.

When I worked as a manager at Petco, I used to refer pet parents to this little vet that operated next to a groomer around the corner from us because I always heard such great things about them.
Then I had my own wonderful experience with them that has made me a customer now for 9 years. I witnessed a woman dumping a dog out of her car in an abandoned parking lot. I turned my car around immediately and picked the animal up. He looked like death. Completely neglected, horribly mangled with an oozing wound on its side. I rushed the pup to the this vet that I had heard so many wonderful feedback and only then did I realize why they were called Heroes.
Dr Vijuan was simply amazing. The care and immediate attention that she gave to this poor animal brought me to tears. She took him into surgery that day and saved a life with nothing in it for her than her own compassion and need to help animals. She then placed this pup in a wonderful home with a friend of hers where he lived like a king.
Fast forward to 2017 and I got a new puppy and have taken her to Dr V a few times now. They have a gorgeous brand new building on Commercial Blvd and Dr V and her staff are still simply amazing. The best part is that a visit here will never break the bank, they are still as affordable as ever. I will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of vet care for their fur babies! Dr Vijuan is our Hero!!

Protect your pet - DON'T GO TO THIS VET !! They nearly killed our dog due to improper treatment / meds. Staff members were rude and arrogant

I brought my senior rescue Pomeranian in for a teeth cleaning this week and I had a great experience. Her teeth were basically rotten, had been bleeding from the gums and obviously had been in a lot of pain. Today, I immediately noticed her breath no longer had any smell and when I checked out her teeth, I was delighted to see them looking like new again. I can't believe how white and clean they are now after the shape they were in. Dr. Goldblatt did a phenomenal job! The best part was the reasonable price. I will definitely be bringing both my dogs to Heroes again. Thank you to the entire team! =)

Heroes is so wonderful! They were so loving to my baby Sadie and found her problem super quick. I've been to vets that only care about selling you things and hardly pay attention to my pet but it was easy to see my baby was their MAIN concern at Heroes. I'd highly recommend them for any issue your pet may have. I can't stress enough how great they are. My pets comfort was their priority and I can say with confidence that I will go there every single time for both my cats and dog!
