I took my dog in i paid over $350.00 and was told my dog wasnt going to live past 24 to 48 hours and she gave me 2 options tobput my dog down or get the tests that were needed to determine what my dog had. I was devastated. I am disabled and live on a fixed income. I had to get that blood work for her. After not even 15 minutes Dr. Gonzalez says to me the blood work is inconclusive it did not read the hemoglobin counts on your dog. That's a lab she neglected to read the test manually under a scope. Instead she sent me home with meds for my dog. I am appalled of the service I was given and my dogbis still alive a week later. I will be reporting this to a higher authority. Read Less

I have been taking my dogs here since 2000. The Lake Olympia staff is very caring and friendly. Their prices are reasonable. The doctors love my dogs and have helped me through many difficult times, including a few end-of-life decisions as my dogs grew older. I will not go anywhere else Read Less

DO NOT TAKE A PET YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR TO THIS VET CLINIC. THEY WILL FAIL TO DIAGNOSE AND FAIL TO RENDER ANY EFFECTIVE TREATMENT TO YOUR DOG, CAT OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ANIMAL YOU CARE FOR. To shed some light on the above comment without going into to every detail, I had previously brought my pet into their office for routine visits, shots and general checkups etc. To put things into perspective I would bring my pet here just to have them lightly groomed in certain areas instead of going to PetSmart or Petco etc. I try to give my pet the utmost quality of care. I paid whatever costs were associated with every visit without any qualms, the main reason I started going to this place was simply due to the location and the reviews, some of which I strongly believe are shill or fake. About 2-3 years ago I brought my pet in to the office and saw the older female "vet" whom I saw every other time, this time was a bit different because my dear furry friend was having breathing/coughing/sneezing issues and I could feel under the neck that the lymphatic nodes were increasing in size. After a few minutes I was told that it could be seasonal allergies that were manifesting. I asked if there were further tests that needed to be done, asked about blood tests etc, I was given a prescription for some oral meds and then sent on my way and I was told there was nothing to worry about and if it continues that I could take him to another emergency pet hospital down the road. At this point I took my furry buddy home and after a few weeks ended up getting a knack to end up at the emergency pet hospital when I realized the condition was not getting better. I was told at the emergency vet hospital that my sweet little animal could possibly have lymphoma and to return to my regular vet for additional testing. I found myself back here with the new found news and finally saw Dr. Von Lubbe whom after a long consultation decided to send out some bloodwork to get tested for confirmation. A week and a few days later the test was confirmed to be lymphoma but no further diagnosis was presented or could be deciphered even after hundreds of dollars being taken. I found myself another vet office and never returned here. After 1.5 years and THOUSANDS of dollars ($20k+) and tens of vet visits I finally had to euthanize my furry buddy. I know in my heart that if this vet clinic was educated and run properly by employing better vets and with the necessary procedures for testing that my furry friend would have been diagnosed sooner and likely had a better chance to fight for their life. If you value your pets life, don't even step foot in this place. Read the other reviews carefully and just drive by here and find another vet clinic willing to provide every option available to you. Don't end up losing your animal like I did by his hole in the wall establishment. Read Less

This place is great. Took my little one (3.6 pounds) (Thor) there to get neutered & micro-chipped. They did an excellent job of taking care of him. He was being a big baby and even the receptionist took time holding him for comfort after surgery. They are no hidden fees and they can give you estimates before you go in. Don't take your car or your dog there because the veterinarian don't know what they're doing my cat got sick now supposedly my cat has cancer didn't want to do no test on my cat so I spent $500 but no answer so don't waste your money or your time because I have to go somewhere else and spend more money that place sucks I would never take my cat for my dogs or anything that I love back there they just money-grubbing people Read Less

I had gone to Dr. Stefon's office since 2000 or before, don't know who this Dr. von Lubbe is the older man is not there anymore and then a woman came, I liked Dr. Stefon, jason is okay Ginger i had no use for, she wasn't nice at all. don't live in ocoee any more so got a new vet. Read Less

Both vets, Dr. Stefan and Dr. Gonzalez are super, but we usually see Dr. Gonzalez. She does a wonderful, carrying job of taking care of our Aussie's and has mourned with us when we lost two of them. We have a new puppy, Merlin is his name, and he has seen Dr. Gonzalez since he was 8 wk. old. These are such kind and caring people and Ginger, their office manager is just super. We would not take our pups to anyone else. We went to Dr. Mac, of the Clinic that was on White road, so when he sold his client list to Dr. Stefan and recommended him so highly, well Dr. Mac was our vet from back in the early 1990's, so. I took my dog here for years. When I first started taking her there, Dr. VonLubbe was there and he was an awesome doctor. Over the years, he became less and less available for appointments and we began to see his associate Dr. Gonzalez. Dr. Gonzalez is HORRIBLE!! After a few years of severe allergy issues with my poor dog and getting no results I went to a new vet hoping for better results. It was an eye-opening experience. Every time I had asked Dr. Gonzalez for some form of supplement to give my dog to help alleviate her allergies, I was told there was none and that I just needed to bathe her weekly and given a list of dosages for OTC allergy medicines I could give. They gave her cortisone injections on occasion, which helped, but only temporarily. I went in complaining that my dog yelped when I scratched her ears and was told there was nothing wrong with her ears. You can imagine my surprise when the new vet tells me she can give the dog a cortisone injection but needs to have blood work done to verify the liver and kidneys were working properly due to her age and I tell her that they did the blood work at her last annual about a year ago because I was told my dog's liver and kidneys were functioning properly. When the new vet called to get the results of the blood work, they told her they never did anything other than heartworm tests. How was she telling me her liver and kidneys were functioning properly if she never did any tests?! Then the new vet looks in her ears and tells me she has a severe ear infection! AND, she offers me a supplement to help boost her immune system to help prevent the allergic reaction!! I am so thankful I took my dog to another place for a second opinion!! My dog is acting like a puppy again, not scratching, not yelping when I scratch her ears (although we are still treating her for the ear infection as it had to have been there for some time), and even jumping and acting interested in life again. Also, once when I took my second dog in for annual shots, I overhear Dr. Gonzalez telling the tech that this dog has "a lot of issues." Really? He does? He's about two (he was a rescue), born with vision problems and deaf, and is overweight, but she didn't know that yet as she hadn't seen him since he got fat! He doesn't have "a lot of issues"! He's barely not a puppy! I really liked Dr. VonLubbe and the remainder of the staff, other than Dr. Gonzalez, are really great with the dogs, but since Dr. Gonzalez seems to be the primary doctor for this facility and I question her aptitude, I will not be taking any pets there again. We have been going to Dr. Stefan for more than 12 years now and have had the very best care for our fur family; both cats and dogs. He is very skilled and educated in his profession and possesses an organic ability when it comes to reading his patients behaviors and medical needs. Kind, caring, honest, and trustworthy, Dr. Stefan is committed to his craft and well-being of his patients. Our fur family has grown over the years and each time we are in for a visit, the staff takes interest, remembers their names, and makes us feel like an extended family. Dr. Gonzalez is a doll and has been a tremendous support with the pets we have both loved and lost. She is kind and compassionate and well educated in veterinary care. Dr. Stefan is the BEST!! he truely cares about the care that is given to your animals, the office manager Ginger is great, she is so nice and helpful when you bring in your k9 or feline babies to be seen, and the staff is so nice also. This vet is ~~ ok and convenient to my house, but I won't go back. The office staff is friendly enough and the dr provided necessary care. However, her scrubs were dirty and she was sloppy as she walked around the exam room. Decided to give them another try based on the reviews and hope we would meet the Dr. Stefan described below. This is the best Vet Clinic I have ever had the pleasure of bringing my pets to. From Dr. Von Lubbe, to Jason to Ginger... wonderful people who provide not only excellent medical care, but also throw in loving care too. I had to leave our cat, Spunky there over a weekend, as he needed special care and the thought of leaving him anywhere, was hard enough, but I couldn't have asked for better care. I'm only sad that in a few months, I will be living out of state, and I can't take the Doctor and his wonderful staff with me!! :-( Read Less

There is a clinic 3 blocks from house....I choose to drive 25 minutes to see Dr. Stefan. He is wonderful, his staff is great and they all know who you are and who your pets are. Besides that the price is always MUCH cheaper than other clinics! We love them and so does our American Bull Dog Lulu! Read Less

I have been a client of Dr. Van Lube for about 3 years now. He has taken extremely good care of my three cats. The staff is very courteous and kind since the new manager started about 2 years ago, I think her name is Ginger. Another reviewer stated that the prices have gone up considerably, but I havent seen much increase if any in my normal visits. Overall this is a great clinic with great people. Read Less

When I first went to this clinic - the doctor and the staff were exceptional (when first opening). At that time my puppy needed some work done on one tooth. Dr Van Lube did an excellent job and the price was very fair. All the prices for the services were very fair (especially for this part of town which is not the most affluent).Then another vet went out of business nearby - an older vet about to retire. Since he joined the practice the prices have gone skyhigh!!!! I can no longer afford this vet. I am not sacrificing good care for a lesser price - it is just that there are two (2) other vets in the area which have comparable service at more reasonable prices.Dr Van Lube is and was an exceptional vet;however, other pricing factors have influenced my business and I am sorry I can no longer patronize his office. Dr. S. Vonlubbe was very personable/friendly. He was informative and I felt like I could really understand everything he told me about my pet. He handled my pet as if it were his own.
