Dr. Close has been great with my Scottie. He had surgery to remove a toe with cancer in the nail bed 4 years ago as well as surgery for a non cancerous growth on his mouth 2 years ago and recovered well. My dog is 12 years old and in good health. I found Dr. Close to be a good listener, considerate about providing financial details up front, cautious and conscientious. I appreciate her in person follow up calls as well.

The staff, especially April, are friendly, kind, and attentive. The doctor is very sweet but also sharply clinical. She takes your pet's health very seriously. They are in the same median price range...

Dr.Close and staff are very caring. Two years ago I had to take my cat in to have her euthanized after battling aids. They made the experience easy. They gave her a sedative to calm her down and then gave her the medicine to put her down. I never had a vet do that which was comforting for my cat and myself. I adopted 2 kittens in 2017. One of the kittens got sick and they got her in immediately. Within 2 days she was better. I wouldn't go to any other vet. Thanks to Dr. Close and staff!!

Please notice the years of the previous reviews. This animal hospital used to be one of the best. They had amazing doctors and staff alike. Since Dr. Barman and Dr. Hall have left the place has not been the same. They do not have time for appointments and I think they must be overworked because the friendly "how can I help" attitude is no longer there. They almost seemed annoyed when you call to make an appointment.

We've been going here for a couple of months now. Would have rated a 4 until today when we really needed an apt. Our dog needs her nails cut every 4 weeks. We knew her rabies was expiring in Aug. Had an apt 3 weeks ago for trim and they wouldn't do rabies because it was a 2 weeks too early. Called today for nail trim and rabies. They said they can't get in rabies until mid Sept (a month from now) and they refused to do her nails because her rabies is now overdue. I explained that we can't wait another month for her nail trim as they grow extremely fast and it makes it difficult for her to walk. They said that was the only option they had. We said okay, you are forcing us to change vets... They didn't care. Called another vet down the street and got in same day.

Nine years later, we are still bringing all four of our pets the See Dr. Close and her staff. She is very kind and caring - she takes the time to call to make sure our babies are doing well after she sees them. My dog just had dental work and she was on the phone with me the next day to make sure my dog is doing well. The staff is always very nice and makes us feel comfortable.

It's with a heavy heart that I give this place a 5 star rating as we ended up having to put our beloved cat Sawyer to sleep here...the staff was professional and the doctor was informative and open about Sawyer's chances had we decided to persue treatment...having just spent over $1,600 at another vet to try and save his life we just couldn't afford to spend anymore...the doctor was caring and professional allowing us time to say our goodbyes and be with him through the procedure.. but what really struck me was the condolance card we got from the vet a few days later...the fact that the doctor had taken the time to fill up one side of the card with a hand written note touched both my wife and I deeply...in a world where everything and everyone is in a hurry this kind of personal touch is almost nonexistent...needless to say we have found a new vet for our future needs... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

What a great hospital. I had to bring in my cat in at the last minute on a Saturday and without hesitation and even though they were fully booked, they still allowed me to bring in my fur kid. The front desk was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long to get into an exam room. The doctor and assistants were all so friendly and took care of my skittish cat. I highly recommend this place. They genuinely seem to care. A lot of other places are not like that.

I was very happy with this vet until this week! I boarded my dog there over spring break 4 nights and he was returned to me in terrible shape. When I picked him up a notice he had not been bathed and ...
I was very happy with this vet until this week! I boarded my dog there over spring break 4 nights and he was returned to me in terrible shape. When I picked him up a notice he had not been bathed and he smelled horrible. Upon arriving home I found a large tick by his collar! I returned to the vet immediately and they found several more ticks and gave him frontline. Sure to tell me the frontline treatment was complimentary are you kidding me were the ticks and fleas complimentary too? Arriving home again with my dog is when the real fun began you could see the ticks and fleas jumping off of him on to the tile floor!!!! He had diarrhea, was dirty and smelled horrible. I was told not to bathe him because of the frontline treatment for 1 week! Really!! Spent the night cleaning carpets, tile, dogs crate, and had to throw out his bedding after seeing more ticks!!I'm off to another vet today to have him checked out and then gotta vacuum the car to be sure its not infested with ticks and fleas too!!!

Wonderful find for our lil' girl! The staff is friendly and the doctors are very compassionate, professional, and helpful. When I've needed urgent care they've been able to accommodate. They have patience for a concerned dog-mom with lots of questions. I am so happy to have found this vet after moving to Ocoee, unfortunately I had to visit a sub-par vet before finding this gem.

Sure to tell me the frontline treatment was complimentary are you kidding me were the ticks and fleas complimentary too? Arriving home again with my dog is when the real fun began you could see the ticks and fleas jumping off of him on to the tile floor!!!! He had diarrhea, was dirty and smelled horrible. I was told not to bathe him because of the frontline treatment for 1 week! Really!! Spent the night cleaning carpets, tile, dogs crate, and had to throw out his bedding after seeing more ticks!!I'm off to another vet today to have him checked out and then gotta vacuum the car to be sure its not infested with ticks and fleas too!!!

Wonderful find for our lil' girl! The staff is friendly and the doctors are very compassionate, professional, and helpful. When I've needed urgent care they've been able to accommodate. They have patience for a concerned dog-mom with lots of questions. I am so happy to have found this vet after moving to Ocoee, unfortunately I had to visit a sub-par vet before finding this gem.
