My heart sank as I found my little, old Skipper in this horrifying condition shortly after I awoke this morning! His face swollen, breathing labored, and unable to stop scratching his mouth. Thanks to the swift assistance from local veterinarian, Dr. Letcher, and his 2 skilled vet technicians, Skipper is home and on the mend! 🐶 After sedating Skipper, they discovered a bone lodged in the roof of his mouth, close to his throat. The team was able to remove the bone and inject him with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to ease his discomfort and speed his recovery time. As to where he found the bone, I can only guess it to be recent varmint leftovers from my hunting cat, Sassy 😼 Today, I am so grateful for my amazing veterinarian and his technicians, whose care Skipper has been blessed with for the past 8 years. I highly reccomend Letcher Veterinay Hospital to anyone in the Okeechobee area with pets!!!

Ive used Dr. Letcher for at least a decade or more, I've had lots of dogs, He and his staff have always treated me and mine as expected. They are professional and courteous. The techs are exceptional with animals. I boarded 6 dogs with them recently. All went as expected and hoped, they even bathed one of the dogs that got poopy. Ive always been satisfied with the service Ive received, its professional and personable.

Their all great here. I've seen a lot of vets in 50 years and I'm telling y'all this Vets the best. Great care, great staff and great Doc. It's where I bring my five dogs!!!

I normally don't leave reviews but when I read the one on here I thought I have to. The staff is amazing they take care of my cat who has cancer, 4 1/2lb. maltese/shitzu female and 2 yr old shitzu male. When we had female fixed they took care of her like she was their own baby! Always polite and very gracious. They are very reasonable priced. I am glad they ask people to bring in paper work 1st! This is for the protection of all the other animals they care for and insure their safety.

Look first off I am not looking to slam anyone. The girls there are very caring!! I was A 8 year client. Saying that My opinion of the surgery he had done on my sweet dog just astounded me! The length of time he has known my girl and her history was so unbelievable the way she was treated ended my years with him! She is scared to death of thunderstorms and is 100% inside dog! He put her in A kennel outside in the entire night and next day, That night we had such severe thunderstorms come through!! Being left outside no A.C. just a fan????? Complications after surgery severe bleeding! 2 full days!!! I'm so done!! Go to Okeechobee Vet !!! Seriously A much much better facility !!!!

I called this veterinary hospital to set up an appointment for my recently rescued dog. I was hoping to bring him here for an initial physical exam. They asked me to bring the dog's paperwork to the office before I could bring my dog in for a visit (which seemed odd). After I brought in the paperwork, the secretary made copies and said the vet would be in touch. Then I received a call a half hour later and was told that the vet was unsatisfied with the paperwork I provided. During this call, I overheard the vet speaking to the secretary in the background and he was very rude and disrespectful to her. He also was making condescending remarks about the dog's medical history and about the rescue center I got the dog from. After hearing the disparaging comments this vet made to his staff, and about a RESCUED animal, I decided to take my business to Okee Vet instead. I advise you to do the same.

Ive used Dr. Letcher for at least a decade or more, I've had lots of dogs, He and his staff have always treated me and mine as expected. They are professional and courteous. The techs are exceptional with animals. I boarded 6 dogs with them recently. All went as expected and hoped, they even bathed one of the dogs that got poopy. Ive always been satisfied with the service Ive received, its professional and personable.

I normally don't leave reviews but when I read the one on here I thought I have to. The staff is amazing they take care of my cat who has cancer, 4 1/2lb. maltese/shitzu female and 2 yr old shitzu male. When we had female fixed they took care of her like she was their own baby!
