Okay, I expect to get gigged when taking an animal to any emergency clinic after 7 PM. But I'm still paying for their "services" months later. My daughter's dog had been run over, and snapped the leg bone in half. It was a clean break, nothing hideous like a greenstick fracture, but they recommended either amputation, or several "fixes." I could not see amputating a leg on a healthy young dog, so foolish me, I opted for fixes. Five thousand dollars later...yes, five grand for a broken leg. I'm not kidding. Any fixes that didn't work (like a rod down the leg hitting the sciatic nerve), were removed, but it wasn't removed from my bill. The staff was very nice as they kept coming up with more ways to spend my money (like hundred-dollar titanium screws or tests for possible infections which she could only have got THERE during surgery.) At the end of several months of visits for the poor dog, they actually suggested hiring a physical therapist to go to my home for the dog because she was limping. Wow. Where's the vaseline???Unlike others, I didn't encounter rude staff until the very end of several visits, and surprise, it was the head doctor. We showed up for a final appointment with our regular vet, but he wasn't there. The other vet went ballistic at having to wait on us, and fumed more about the screwed up scheduling than the dog.Fortunately, my husband was with us, and was also not in a good mood. That was the last time we went. The dog still has problems with the leg, and the nerves. She snaps at her back like something is stinging her. I'd never take another animal to this place. If you have absolutely no other option, do not let them talk you into a lot of unnecessary garbage, even if you have an unlimited credit card. . Ultimately, the pet suffers for it. Read Less
