Brought my two cats to the clinic for a simple wellness check and vaccines. They were completely healthy indoor cats with no problems. Three days after my visit, one of my cats developed a nasty and persistent eye infection. He had never been sick prior to this or had any contact with other cats. The staff here either have horrible hygiene practices, or someone is purposely infecting animals. I brought my cat back in and I couldn't get a clear answer as to what caused the infection. If you choose to bring your animals here, make sure the staff wash their hands and don't let your pet out of your sight. I'm honestly too scared to go back. I was only trying to be proactive about the health of my cats, and ended up with more harm than good.

I recently came to this veterinarian because my dog became ill. I’m new to Florida and the vet that I had only went to once here in Orlando didn’t seem to really do anything the only time that I went, so I didn’t want to take him there when he was sick. So I decided To try this Vet which was down the street from my house so we were able to walk there. As soon as we walked in the staff was very friendly. They came over and asked in detail what was going on with Chester. Once I got into see the doctor, she spent at least 25 minutes doing a THOROUGH exam on my dog. I honestly have to say it was the best exam I’ve ever seen him have. After that, we left and he got better. The vet prescribed some medication and put them on bed rest. But Dr. Duncan called us a few days later to see how he was doing. I have never had a veterinarian call to check up on him after he had seen them for an illness. Then today I got a card in the mail from Dr. Duncan saying that she hopes all is well. She is a super veterinarian!!! I am so glad I found them! I will be seeing them from now on as they will be Chester‘s new veterinarian. They were awesome .

I believe the experience to be professional as well as genuine, Dr. O'Sullivan was able to make recommendations for in home care and what to expect from medications prescribed, as well as the best and worst case scenarios given conditions present. I have a couple more dogs that need check ups also and I already found there next vet/Doctor based on my 1st experience. I truly believe that 1st impressions mean everything, the facility is clean, friendly, and even had hot coffee at 10am several hours after they had been open. Furthermore, my 1st visit they had the name of me and my pet on the welcome new friends board very nice touch and definitely worth giving another visit based on my 1st experience and impression....
Update: a year later they are still the best, been there multiple times. I appreciate all of the staff, I personally prefer Dr. O’Sullivan and request her, I’m sure the other docs are just as good based on my visits but she knows my animals the best and seems to have the personal touch for my beloved 4 legged family members. Her candor is second to none and appreciate that. Thanks to the Orlando animal clinic team there customer service is top notch. Thanks bunches

Awesome people. They took care of our little Doxie for 14 years. When she passed they were beyond kind and considerate, brought us in before they were open, made all the arrangements and were very compassionate. My husband took her death very badly and they were beyond kind. We even received a sympathy card personally signed by the staff and vets. They have always gone way beyond in caring for our pets. We have been taking our pets there for more than 20 years and have never had a bad experience.

I have been at Animal Medical Clinic for one year, in that time my dog has been seen by "guest" vets due to them being overbooked..which ended up in my pet having disjointed care.. I had to explain to each new vet what the previous vet said about my pups condition just to get them up to speed. I recently came in to pick up my dogs flea medication and explained to the vet tech that he was having a very bad case of fleas due to contact with another infested dog and that he was allergic to fleas, she refused to give me the medicine because he was due for a wellness checkup. I explained that I would bring him in for one but he needed his medication now. She blankly looked at me as if she couldn't careless, and didn't offer me an alternative like capstar or anything. I also explained to her that I've been picking up his medication from them for months and no one has even mentioned that I would need to update his wellness exam to continue getting his medication. She shrugged as if not to care at all. I was sold tests that ended up not being necessary on two different occasions and the prices at AMC are a lot higher than surrounding comparable vets. The younger staff is very pleasant but the older short auburn haired woman has been consistently rude to me and my wife (separately)..So much so that as I was explaining what happened, my wife knew exactly who i was talking about. Im done with Animal Medical Clinic. They don't seem to care about pets but they do care about MONEY. I spoke with several other vets and they were all appalled that we were treated the way we were. I mean not even suggesting an alternative to the (trifexis) I was going to buy, to help mediate the problem. I have a lot of friends with pets in my neighborhood of Delaney Park, and I will be sharing my story with all of them. You should make amends Animal Medical Clinic. I never write reviews.

I took my cat (who had an infection) and sugar glider there and it cost us about 200 dollars for the meds, boarding, test, and the check ups. Really good price, would recommend to any one who has concerns about their pets well-being.

I've gone to AMC twice now, and both times they were punctual, communicative, and friendly. Everything seemed reasonably priced, and I didn't feel like I was being "sold" on particular treatments or products. Today, my dog was kept there all day, and Dr. David called me midway through, at the time I requested, and gave a thorough update (I've had many vets fail to meet their promises with things like that). I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time. I couldn't imagine a better experience.

There are no words to describe the immense gratitude I feel towards the Animal Medical Clinic and their wonderful, caring staff, all these years I've brought my two cats, Eukanubo and Molly for their care. They both have had their share of crises and health scares but I always felt reassured by the staff's caring, loving demeanor. Sadly Eukanubo passed away last Friday, but I'm sure he made it to ripe old age of 17 thanks to the guidance and care at your facility. I've been to many veterinary places but nowhere have I seen such a cheerful, upbeat place and it doesn't give the vibes of just being a business, rather it always feels as a place of caring. I would highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando as the best place to take care of our pets.

Everyone at Animal Medical Clinic is extremely kind and compassionate. Dr. Lee is our main vet, but my dog has seen every vet there and we love all of them. My dog was recently attacked by another dog and the entire team examined him and patched up all of his wounds. The office is about 20 minutes from my home, but the drive is worth it.

I can't say enough about the entire staff at Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando. Four years ago our Boston terrier had major surgery at UF and we started seeing Dr.O'Sullivan. She is the most caring veterinarian that we have ever had for any of our pets. Unfortunately, due to age and health issues, our sweet dog passed away in April. We so appreciated her compassion during a very difficult time. I highly recommend this practice and should we get another pet in the future, we'll look forward to returning.

Overall Summary: The practice has tactics to make more money from you. Unless you get Dr. Lee, this place is not worth it. The Bad VetAfter coming here for the first time, I almost did not return. I came as a recommendation by a friend. I have a cat that can be quite difficult to handle, especially when he is scared at the vet. The nurse kept baby talking to him and the doctor wasn't much better. They made it seem like there was something wrong with the cat. This is a veterinary office - It should NOT be uncommon to meet scared animals or animals who can get feisty/mean when scared. As for overall biting issues, she did not really give suggestions. She printed out something that obviously just came from a Google search for "How to stop cat from biting." The Amazing VetOne year later, since AMC is pretty close to my home, I decided to try them again. This time, we had Dr. Lee and her nurse who were wonderful. They recognized that my cat was scared and eased him into the situation. He never hissed or even attempted to bite. He even nuzzled on the nurse and was completely fine when she took him away to be weighed. They were outstanding! They offered advice I probably could not have easily found online and it was evident that she loves animals. If this was the only experience I had, I would give this 5 stars. Overall, this place is hit or miss depending on what doctor you have. Their prices are a bit high, but worth it if you have someone like Dr. Lee. However, their tactics for making you buy medications from them and completely refusing to do something as simple as fax a prescription is not indicative of a practice that actually cares about its patients. There are many vets in the Orlando area, definitely try out the other ones!

I recently came to this veterinarian because my dog became ill. I’m new to Florida and the vet that I had only went to once here in Orlando didn’t seem to really do anything the only time that I went, so I didn’t want to take him there when he was sick. So I decided To try this Vet which was down the street from my house so we were able to walk there. As soon as we walked in the staff was very friendly. They came over and asked in detail what was going on with Chester. Once I got into see the doctor, she spent at least 25 minutes doing a THOROUGH exam on my dog. I honestly have to say it was the best exam I’ve ever seen him have. After that, we left and he got better. The vet prescribed some medication and put them on bed rest. But Dr. Duncan called us a few days later to see how he was doing. I have never had a veterinarian call to check up on him after he had seen them for an illness. Then today I got a card in the mail from Dr. Duncan saying that she hopes all is well. She is a super veterinarian!!! I am so glad I found them! I will be seeing them from now on as they will be Chester‘s new veterinarian. They were awesome .

I believe the experience to be professional as well as genuine, Dr. O'Sullivan was able to make recommendations for in home care and what to expect from medications prescribed, as well as the best and worst case scenarios given conditions present. I have a couple more dogs that need check ups also and I already found there next vet/Doctor based on my 1st experience. I truly believe that 1st impressions mean everything, the facility is clean, friendly, and even had hot coffee at 10am several hours after they had been open. Furthermore, my 1st visit they had the name of me and my pet on the welcome new friends board very nice touch and definitely worth giving another visit based on my 1st experience and impression....
Update: a year later they are still the best, been there multiple times. I appreciate all of the staff, I personally prefer Dr. O’Sullivan and request her, I’m sure the other docs are just as good based on my visits but she knows my animals the best and seems to have the personal touch for my beloved 4 legged family members. Her candor is second to none and appreciate that. Thanks to the Orlando animal clinic team there customer service is top notch. Thanks bunches

Awesome people. They took care of our little Doxie for 14 years. When she passed they were beyond kind and considerate, brought us in before they were open, made all the arrangements and were very compassionate. My husband took her death very badly and they were beyond kind. We even received a sympathy card personally signed by the staff and vets. They have always gone way beyond in caring for our pets. We have been taking our pets there for more than 20 years and have never had a bad experience.

I have been at Animal Medical Clinic for one year, in that time my dog has been seen by "guest" vets due to them being overbooked..which ended up in my pet having disjointed care.. I had to explain to each new vet what the previous vet said about my pups condition just to get them up to speed. I recently came in to pick up my dogs flea medication and explained to the vet tech that he was having a very bad case of fleas due to contact with another infested dog and that he was allergic to fleas, she refused to give me the medicine because he was due for a wellness checkup. I explained that I would bring him in for one but he needed his medication now. She blankly looked at me as if she couldn't careless, and didn't offer me an alternative like capstar or anything. I also explained to her that I've been picking up his medication from them for months and no one has even mentioned that I would need to update his wellness exam to continue getting his medication. She shrugged as if not to care at all. I was sold tests that ended up not being necessary on two different occasions and the prices at AMC are a lot higher than surrounding comparable vets. The younger staff is very pleasant but the older short auburn haired woman has been consistently rude to me and my wife (separately)..So much so that as I was explaining what happened, my wife knew exactly who i was talking about. Im done with Animal Medical Clinic. They don't seem to care about pets but they do care about MONEY. I spoke with several other vets and they were all appalled that we were treated the way we were. I mean not even suggesting an alternative to the (trifexis) I was going to buy, to help mediate the problem. I have a lot of friends with pets in my neighborhood of Delaney Park, and I will be sharing my story with all of them. You should make amends Animal Medical Clinic. I never write reviews.

I took my cat (who had an infection) and sugar glider there and it cost us about 200 dollars for the meds, boarding, test, and the check ups. Really good price, would recommend to any one who has concerns about their pets well-being.

The staff hasn't changed much over the years so it must be a great place to work.

I've gone to AMC twice now, and both times they were punctual, communicative, and friendly. Everything seemed reasonably priced, and I didn't feel like I was being "sold" on particular treatments or products. Today, my dog was kept there all day, and Dr. David called me midway through, at the time I requested, and gave a thorough update (I've had many vets fail to meet their promises with things like that). I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time. I couldn't imagine a better experience.

Extremely sweet nurse and doctors. The handled our dog with care and love. The only thing I didn't like is they took a lot of time during my first visit. Hopefully it will be quicker next time.

There are no words to describe the immense gratitude I feel towards the Animal Medical Clinic and their wonderful, caring staff, all these years I've brought my two cats, Eukanubo and Molly for their care. They both have had their share of crises and health scares but I always felt reassured by the staff's caring, loving demeanor. Sadly Eukanubo passed away last Friday, but I'm sure he made it to ripe old age of 17 thanks to the guidance and care at your facility. I've been to many veterinary places but nowhere have I seen such a cheerful, upbeat place and it doesn't give the vibes of just being a business, rather it always feels as a place of caring. I would highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando as the best place to take care of our pets.

Everyone at Animal Medical Clinic is extremely kind and compassionate. Dr. Lee is our main vet, but my dog has seen every vet there and we love all of them. My dog was recently attacked by another dog and the entire team examined him and patched up all of his wounds. The office is about 20 minutes from my home, but the drive is worth it.

I can't say enough about the entire staff at Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando. Four years ago our Boston terrier had major surgery at UF and we started seeing Dr.O'Sullivan. She is the most caring veterinarian that we have ever had for any of our pets. Unfortunately, due to age and health issues, our sweet dog passed away in April. We so appreciated her compassion during a very difficult time. I highly recommend this practice and should we get another pet in the future, we'll look forward to returning.

Overall Summary: The practice has tactics to make more money from you. Unless you get Dr. Lee, this place is not worth it. The Bad VetAfter coming here for the first time, I almost did not return. I came as a recommendation by a friend. I have a cat that can be quite difficult to handle, especially when he is scared at the vet. The nurse kept baby talking to him and the doctor wasn't much better. They made it seem like there was something wrong with the cat. This is a veterinary office - It should NOT be uncommon to meet scared animals or animals who can get feisty/mean when scared. As for overall biting issues, she did not really give suggestions. She printed out something that obviously just came from a Google search for "How to stop cat from biting." The Amazing VetOne year later, since AMC is pretty close to my home, I decided to try them again. This time, we had Dr. Lee and her nurse who were wonderful. They recognized that my cat was scared and eased him into the situation. He never hissed or even attempted to bite. He even nuzzled on the nurse and was completely fine when she took him away to be weighed. They were outstanding! They offered advice I probably could not have easily found online and it was evident that she loves animals. If this was the only experience I had, I would give this 5 stars. Overall, this place is hit or miss depending on what doctor you have. Their prices are a bit high, but worth it if you have someone like Dr. Lee. However, their tactics for making you buy medications from them and completely refusing to do something as simple as fax a prescription is not indicative of a practice that actually cares about its patients. There are many vets in the Orlando area, definitely try out the other ones!
