When my cat came home from another vet's office with fleas, it was inevitable that the rest of the fur-kids would soon become infested. Fleas are never easy to eradicate, but when one of the affected pets is a rabbit, the issue is much greater than normal. To assist me with the problem, I found Dr. Jackson at East Orange Animal Hospital. Dr. Jackson was able to prescribe flea medication that is appropriate for rabbits, and was very clear with her instructions.I'm so thankful that I came in when I did--it turns out that my six-year-old rabbit had also lost 1/2 of her body weight over the last few years, and that she has developed a heart murmur. Heart murmurs are notoriously difficult to detect in rabbits, since their heart rate is so fast to begin with, and it speaks to Dr. Jackson's expertise with small animals that she was able to find it. Dr. Jackson outlined the possibilities for my rabbits weight loss and heart murmur, and thoroughly explained the options that I had for diagnosis and treatment. After hearing that my sweet bun could be in ill-health, I'm sure that I asked an exorbitant amount of questions, but Dr. Jackson was very understanding and straight-forward with her answers. East Orange Animal Hospital is an hour away from where I live, but even so, I will be returning for years to come for my rabbit care. Their front desk staff were attentive, kind, and helpful, their facilities were clean, and Dr. Jackson clearly knows what she's doing when it comes to pocket pets. Read Less
