STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Not sure how these people stay in business. Here is our story: So we took our puppy in for his 3rd set of vaccines. They said arrive 10 minutes early as we were new customers. We showed up 15 minutes early and the sign at the door said call and let them know we were there so they could come out. I called and they put me on hold, while I was sitting on hold several other cars pulled in and employees came out to those cars and took the owners animals inside. I finally stopped one of the employees and they said oh they will get to just wait. Still on hold we waited.... and waited it was now 15 minutes past our appointment time and finally the phone went to their voicemail. I asked the employee again when they came out what was going on and he said oh they are very busy and will get to you. I called back in and the lady answered the phone this time, I explained we had arrived for our appointment and had been waiting quite a while at this point etc, she said we will send someone out, after another 10 minutes a lady came out with a clipboard to have us fill out the new client sheet which we had filled out and emailed in the night before. I explained that we had already done that and she said fine I will go put it in and send someone out to pick up the dog. We waited another 10 minutes, I finally called back in and the lady said she was putting everything in the computer but it takes a while and she would send someone out right away. ...and another 10 minutes of waiting, I called in again and they finally sent someone out, I accompanied them to the exam room. A lady walked in and asked what was the problem, I started to explain that we were a bit frustrated by the wait etc and as I was explaining the so called "Doctor/Owner" walked in and said and I quote " I have an easy solution for your issue, you can leave and go somewhere else" I was stunned and so of course I asked him if he thought it was okay to act that way toward a client, According to him we disrespected him by not waiting patiently for as long as it took for his staff to stop being incompetent and actually provide decent customer service. As I was leaving he was still being rude so I asked him again if he thought his behavior was acceptable or even professional and he responded by telling me to get off his property or he would call the sheriff? Seriously folks do not let your loved ones within 50 feet of this guy. I can understand things being a little crazy with everything going on in the world but to treat a fellow human being the way they treated us is beyond absurd. Needless to say we found another vet that has a professional office place and will be taking care of our little guy.

I have a 9 year old Chiweenie. I have been taking him to Hunters Creek Animal Hospital since he was 9 weeks old. Never had any problems so I thought till the last visit when the dog was brought out to me, he was shaking, tail between legs and kept licking his lips. I examinrd his mouth and saw they had broken three of his front teeth. including his left insisor.On further investigation I also found other molars that apparently were also broken some time back. Please Examine your dogs teeth every time they are cleaned for broken teeth. They won't tell you if teeth were broken during careless surgery.Good Luck.

We had our dog Kirby under Dr. Kirvin's care for quite some time battling a skin condition and diabetes. Dr. Kirvin explained all options available to us, but alas, at 15 years of age, we decided we had lost the battle and that it would be most humane to have Kirby euthanized. We were very appreciative of Dr. Kirvin's kind heart and demeaner during Kirby's final appointment. Now, some time later, we have honored Kirby's life by getting another dog from a rescue. Roxy has her first appointment scheduled and I know that she will receive the same wonderful care that Kirby did. I highly recommend this veterinarian practice and all the kind and caring people that work there.Nancy K.P.S. As stated in other reviews...yes, you will wait; but when it is your turn, you will feel that you and your pet got the Dr's undivided time and attention and were not just rushed in and out! The wait is well worth it.

My dog Niles was sick and was just diagnosed with cancer at another vet and wanted to get a second opinion about possible treatment for his progressive disease. Well we had used Hunters Creek Before and always used Dr. Kirvin, so I made an appointment. He was cocky , uncaring and unprofessional. The treatment I felt both Niles and I received was not for giveable. He sat on the counter in the exam room looking down on us, and almost smuggly told me all I could do was get a $2,000 CT scan somewhere else amongst some other things he ranted on about , I remember thinking this vet is going out of his way to be horrible. I finally gave him attitude back , and he changed his tune a bit but not enough for me to ever go back or refer him. EVER. I now use either Paws Around Town mobile vet or Veterinary Healthcare Associates. They actually care and both my pets and I are treated with respect.

The doctors are nice. But one of the techs left a bad taste in my mouth. I came in simply for my dogs heartworm preventative. I brought my 1 year old Silver Labrador Retriever in to be weighed and receive his meds. That's all. When I asked if he could be weighed this particular tech said that it wouldn't really do any good because the scale was broken. I said okay no problem. Then she preceded to tell me that's he's a big boy and that he was really big for a Weimaraner. I then responded and told her that he was actually a Silver Lab and that his parents were chocolate labs. She didn't seem to believe me and that's fine because I know my pups breed is very controversial when it comes to Silvers. That's fine. I brushed it off. It was now my turn to pay and I'm standing at the counter and Duke was getting excited and a little skiddish because people were walking around behind him and he just wanted to go for a car ride. Another customer commented on how beautiful he was and that he looks a little nervous. Then this same tech said "why don't you give him a little cookie for being good. Even though he should lay off the cookies.." That is was set me off about this facility. I have never felt so judged or disgusted in my life before. My dog is 100% healthy and came from large parents. He is 83lbs and HEALTHY. He gets the BARE MINIMUM in food (2cups per day, 1 am 1pm) he is on a HIGH QUALITY food and HE DOESNT GET TREATS(cookies). His treats are ice cubes and frozen carrots! How dare this woman say this to a customer/patient at this animal hospital. You should teach them a LITTLE about customer service. Sorry Hunters Creek Animal Hospital, you've lost my business.

This office is busy, but I've never had to wait too long, and the Dr's are always friendly and seem to care about my dog. They told me what was being done to my dog, or what needed to happen. My dog had surgery for a bad knee, I knew the dog needed the operation, I found the hospitals price resasonable and the surgery was a success. I am very pleased with the service there, and the follow up.

When my dog was a puppy, he broke his femur and his hip. I went to this hospital on a whim and in desperation, and they treated me and my puppy like family. Dr. Bayer and the other docs at this clinic are by far one of the best veterinarian teams I've met or worked for (i'm a former vet student). Now I have to take my pup back for surgery, this time with the peril of him having liver failure. Dr. Bayer again took his time and sat down to chat and explain the procedure, and helped me make the most informed decision possible. They have a customer for life in me and my family.

I can't say enough how great this Vet is. Two days ago, my senior Golden Retriever was not feeling well, while walking him, he had an alarming amount of blood in his stool, and was vomiting at the same time, I immediately called Hunters Creek and the wonderful receptionist tried to keep me calm on the phone (I was panicked) it was also the end of the day and they were about to close... she put me on hold to check with one of the Doctors, she came back to me and said that Dr. Bayer agreed to stay late and wait for me bring him in. This was only my second visit to this Vet, so my dog was not a patient they were to familiar with. I got my dog there as quickly as I could and Dr. Bayer was WONDERFUL. He calmed me down, explained what he believed had occurred to cause the bleeding, gave him an exam, tested for parasites, gave him a couple of shots, and some meds to bring home. Thankfully as of today, my pup has recovered fully. My vet bill was a very reasonable $170, for the level of service, care and medicine for my dog needed, I had no problem with this amount. Before this emergency visit we had seen Dr. Kirvan for a well visit, and he was equally wonderful. I adopted a senior dog knowing that they will need medical attention, and I am so glad that this is the vet that I chose to go with. Thank you everyone at Hunters Creek Animal Hospital, you are the very, very best.

I feel absolutely confident that when i bring my dogs to hunters creek animal hospital, they will always do the right thing and not try to rip me off. My dog was diagnosed with cushings which can be a costly process by ruling out numerous minor issues but the confidence and knowledge of the Dr.'s here helped come to a quick diagnosis. My dog is also a little difficult to handle sometimes but she seems to LOVE Courtney, one of the techs!

We have actually been using this place since 1992. All of our pets have gone here. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my animals. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and you can tell they care about your pets. In 2010 I had an emergency with my dog, my dad and I came to the vet 30 mins after they closed and they accommodated, really wanting to help revive my dog. Ever since then I knew this place wasn't in it "for money" they seriously care about every animal that walks through the door. Scheduling an appointment is super easy with the front staff, they want to accommodate you. Even the clients that come here are always nice and love to chat about each others pets! It's an awesome clean environment! Keep doing what your doing Hunters Creek Animal Hospital!!

This is by far the best care and service I've received from any veterinarian, and I've tried quite a few over the years. Reasonably priced and most importantly they take the time to get to know your pet and give excellent advisement. Dr. Bayer has been exceptional with our dog Misty. She had a severe allergy problem and he took every measure to help solve the mystery and treat the condition. I am grateful for finding this place and everyone from the reception to the technicians are warm and welcoming. I will recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their pets. Thanks again! I started taking my Pomeranian when he first was a puppy 14 years ago and from the very beginning he loved Dr. Vega! This doctor is very knowledgeable and friendly towards both of us. Dr. Vega was the first to discover his heart murmur which has now turned into Congenital heart failure in which he is taking medication. Even back then, Dr. Vega had informed me on what signs to look for once it started progressing in turn needing medication. His condition has recently taken for the worse and pretty soon it will be time to put him sleep :-(. If I decide to have another pet, I will definitely take it to Dr. Vega. Thank you!

He takes the time to discuss options with you and keeps you well informed if your pet requires surgery or other procedures. I would not trust Snoopy's care to anyone but Dr. Kirven.I highly recommend him.

Of all the vets we been to (and we've been to quite a few in several states), this is by far the best! The Staff is compassionate and professional, and the vets are just as compassionate and extremely thorough. They do an excellent job of explaining what they are doing and why, so I never leave the office with unanswered questions or anxiety. Today, we took in one of our dogs for an emergency visit. They got her into promptly and charged us extremely reasonably, even doing her nails for free. I have never experienced a more competent and comfortable environment. This is a prime example of a group of people doing what they love for the benefit of our animals. I hope they know how much they are appreciated in our community!

Terrible. We went there for years thinking we were getting good quality of care. We were wrong. We believed our vets there, like anyone would, and once we got a second opinion about our dogs condition we found out we could have known what was going on with her months before that. They did the tests but didn't read them correctly. I gave our new vet the bloodwork they did on my dog at Hunters Creek and instantly my new vet knew what was going on. And yes, my new vet did new bloodwork just to confirm what they saw in the results from hunters creek. Hunters creek said our dog was in kidney failure. She actually has cushings disease and her kidneys are NOT failing. Also she has had chronic ear infections for a few years and hunters creek gave us some medicine that could damage her ear drum which it already was and they never told us about. They also kept throwing steroids at my dog and never actually giving us answers. So if you want fast food, throw meds at your animal care then go here. If you want proper care, take your animal elsewhere. I will say the vets are nice but they are feeding you lies. I currently take my pet to Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic and it was the best decision I ever made.

You know that they care about your pets as much as you do. Dr. Kirven, Dr. Bayer, Dr. Marino, and Dr. Vega have been taking good care of all my fur babies for over a decade. They were good for the first few years I went, however when we brought our dog there more recently for a lump on his paw that after surgery had been healing weird, they said his paw had necrosis and they'd have to amputate two toes or maybe his whole paw. We went to another vet for a second opinion, not only did the paw not have necrosis but the paw healed perfectly with just a small amount of antibiotics, the paw healed completely. We haven't gone back since then as almost amputating a paw when all that was needed was antibiotics was a very upsetting 'solution' to the issue.

A wonderful place to take your pet for loving care. The doctors and staff always show the best compassion for the animals and owners, whether it is a small problem, a surgery, a major issue, or if you need to deal with your baby heading over the Rainbow Bridge. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. Dr. Vega has been taking care of my babies since they were born and I have recommended Hunter's Creek to anyone and everyone who asks for a vet.

We have been coming here for nine years now and we love everyone from the front office staff to the techs to the doctors. We have used them for wellness, sick visits, putting one to sleep and even a recent emergency visit. Dr. Marino took great care of our Savannah until her very last visit, which she handled with such compassion. Dr. Kirven saw our Bo for some health issues and worked with me to collaborate on his care. He always presented all options and scenarios and was fully supportive of my choices. Dr. Bayer has turned Danny's life around with laser treatment for degenerative spinal something or other. He recently saved his life after Danny escaped and got severe heat stroke. He was the right mix of realistic about his chances but optimistic about his determination. He communicated with me every step of the way. Dr. Vega is currently working with our newest dog's severe separation anxiety and I love how interacts with Bingo and me. No matter who your pet sees, you are definitely in great hands at Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Marino is the best, and treated my cat for 7 years up until the time she passed at the age of 18 years old. She is very knowledgeable, always takes the time to explain things, answer questions, and offers several treatment options. Dr. Marino was instrumental in helping my cat to live a long, healthy life. The office staff and vet techs at Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital are also very efficient. They have Saturday hours which makes it convenient for people who work. Since day one my puppy labrador has been treated with love and kindness. Wait time is reasonable and I found it clean. Dr. M. Bayer is who has taken care of us since day one. He makes sure we leave with no doubts, very friendly, and never has he once rushed us. Our puppy had worms and Parvo and thanks to Dr. Bayer and his staff saved our puppy. Our puppy is part of our family and we were determined to do anything to save him. My daughter and I were away when we found out from my husband about his condition. Dr. Bayer was kind enough to speak with me over the phone and explain the process and was giving him aggressive treatment and would stay almost a week. He said I could call during the week to check on him. The night shift nurse was really kind to speak with me over the phone on how he was doing and how she was with him and caring for him. They even let my husband vist him as we video chat. Thanks to this hospital that was highly recommended to me my dog is healthy. I believe they give you great service value with reasonable prices. I would recommend this place.

This place is terrible. They charged a ton of money and were not able to help my dog with his eye problem - another vet recommended a cheap, over the counter ointment which finally did the trick. While Dr. Moran was nice and tried to help me with my dog's hurting back, she tried to sell me on a laser treatment when what the dog really needed was surgery. Dr. Baer advised against the surgery after my dog's herniated disk ruptured; my dog would never have been able to walk again if I had listened to the doctor. They overcharge and underserve, and every time you walk in, you know they are going to try and sell you more expensive services. I really get the feeling this is just a business for these doctors, it is not about the animals. Other former clients will tell you the same thing. Look elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. We have four cats, including one with a heart and chronic skin condition. Dr. Merino, Dr. Kirvin, and Dr. Vega have consistently gone out of their way to help us with our beloved Mindy. I am convinced that Mindy is alive today because of their care. Additionally, when I bring in one or more of the cats, I never feel rushed. All of the vets take the time to answer questions. They are gentle when handling our babies.The staff are pleasant and accommodating. We just moved to Atlanta, and I was so sad to leave this practice. I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to find another veterinary practice whose knowledge, care, and concern for their patients match that of Hunters Creek Animal Hospital.

Ok...Just the fact that my cat's new vet called me to follow-up on my cat a few days later of seeing him... wow. Loved Dr. Moran. I will admit I have been only here once. Usually I take my cat to another hospital but they were full and I kind of wanted to get a second opiniin on my cat's condition. Since summer he has been getting a recurrent urinary tract infenction. Usually he gets antibiotics, biopsy, lab tests, gets better and it comes back. Came here and the place seems pretty legit. Clean, great service and my cat's vet was ever so patience answering my 101 questions. She even explained everything thoroughly. She paid attention to my concers and considered everything I had to say (regarding previous treatment) before deciding how to treat my cat. It has been a few days since I went and my cat seems to be doing better. :)

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY VET!I had to take my dog in this past weekend for TWO unexpected visits in a row and I could not have been happier with the experience! I have been looking for a facility that I felt this good about since I got my cat almost 5 years ago!The staff and doctors were amazing! This is probably my first experience at a vet where I truly felt that they cared about each and every animal! NO nickle and diming on the bill either with crazy disposal or restocking fees. When I had to go back a second day in a row unexpectedly they even waived my exam fee and just charged me for the test I had gotten run! They have a large staff and are very willing to fit in walk-ins and emergencies!

I have taken Yogi and Meeko here. The price is pretty reasonable. They seem to care about the lil animals and you can see it in your pets face. The only thing that my dog, Yogi doesn't like is is getting his nails trimmed there. I did it when we first moved here and last time when he got his shots updated. I probably won't take him back for that anymore. That's the only nightmares i think he cries about in his sleep lol (that I can think of). Besides that, they also took really good care of my cat Meeko. I think he was in bad shape when I took him and esp with his ears. I will be taking him back soon to get his shots updated.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Not sure how these people stay in business. Here is our story: So we took our puppy in for his 3rd set of vaccines. They said arrive 10 minutes early as we were new customers. We showed up 15 minutes early and the sign at the door said call and let them know we were there so they could come out. I called and they put me on hold, while I was sitting on hold several other cars pulled in and employees came out to those cars and took the owners animals inside. I finally stopped one of the employees and they said oh they will get to just wait. Still on hold we waited.... and waited it was now 15 minutes past our appointment time and finally the phone went to their voicemail. I asked the employee again when they came out what was going on and he said oh they are very busy and will get to you. I called back in and the lady answered the phone this time, I explained we had arrived for our appointment and had been waiting quite a while at this point etc, she said we will send someone out, after another 10 minutes a lady came out with a clipboard to have us fill out the new client sheet which we had filled out and emailed in the night before. I explained that we had already done that and she said fine I will go put it in and send someone out to pick up the dog. We waited another 10 minutes, I finally called back in and the lady said she was putting everything in the computer but it takes a while and she would send someone out right away. ...and another 10 minutes of waiting, I called in again and they finally sent someone out, I accompanied them to the exam room. A lady walked in and asked what was the problem, I started to explain that we were a bit frustrated by the wait etc and as I was explaining the so called "Doctor/Owner" walked in and said and I quote " I have an easy solution for your issue, you can leave and go somewhere else" I was stunned and so of course I asked him if he thought it was okay to act that way toward a client, According to him we disrespected him by not waiting patiently for as long as it took for his staff to stop being incompetent and actually provide decent customer service. As I was leaving he was still being rude so I asked him again if he thought his behavior was acceptable or even professional and he responded by telling me to get off his property or he would call the sheriff? Seriously folks do not let your loved ones within 50 feet of this guy. I can understand things being a little crazy with everything going on in the world but to treat a fellow human being the way they treated us is beyond absurd. Needless to say we found another vet that has a professional office place and will be taking care of our little guy.

Never had any problems so I thought till the last visit when the dog was brought out to me, he was shaking, tail between legs and kept licking his lips. I examinrd his mouth and saw they had broken three of his front teeth. including his left insisor.On further investigation I also found other molars that apparently were also broken some time back. Please Examine your dogs teeth every time they are cleaned for broken teeth. They won't tell you if teeth were broken during careless surgery.Good Luck.

We had our dog Kirby under Dr. Kirvin's care for quite some time battling a skin condition and diabetes. Dr. Kirvin explained all options available to us, but alas, at 15 years of age, we decided we had lost the battle and that it would be most humane to have Kirby euthanized. We were very appreciative of Dr. Kirvin's kind heart and demeaner during Kirby's final appointment. Now, some time later, we have honored Kirby's life by getting another dog from a rescue. Roxy has her first appointment scheduled and I know that she will receive the same wonderful care that Kirby did. My dog Niles was sick and was just diagnosed with cancer at another vet and wanted to get a second opinion about possible treatment for his progressive disease. Well we had used Hunters Creek Before and always used Dr. Kirvin, so I made an appointment. He was cocky , uncaring and unprofessional. The treatment I felt both Niles and I received was not for giveable. He sat on the counter in the exam room looking down on us, and almost smuggly told me all I could do was get a $2,000 CT scan somewhere else amongst some other things he ranted on about , I remember thinking this vet is going out of his way to be horrible. I finally gave him attitude back , and he changed his tune a bit but not enough for me to ever go back or refer him. EVER. I now use either Paws Around Town mobile vet or Veterinary Healthcare Associates. They actually care and both my pets and I are treated with respect.

The doctors are nice. But one of the techs left a bad taste in my mouth. I came in simply for my dogs heartworm preventative. I brought my 1 year old Silver Labrador Retriever in to be weighed and receive his meds. That's all. When I asked if he could be weighed this particular tech said that it wouldn't really do any good because the scale was broken. I said okay no problem. Then she preceded to tell me that's he's a big boy and that he was really big for a Weimaraner. I then responded and told her that he was actually a Silver Lab and that his parents were chocolate labs. She didn't seem to believe me and that's fine because I know my pups breed is very controversial when it comes to Silvers. That's fine. I brushed it off. It was now my turn to pay and I'm standing at the counter and Duke was getting excited and a little skiddish because people were walking around behind him and he just wanted to go for a car ride. Another customer commented on how beautiful he was and that he looks a little nervous. Then this same tech said "why don't you give him a little cookie for being good. Even though he should lay off the cookies.." That is was set me off about this facility. I have never felt so judged or disgusted in my life before. My dog is 100% healthy and came from large parents. He is 83lbs and HEALTHY. He gets the BARE MINIMUM in food (2cups per day, 1 am 1pm) he is on a HIGH QUALITY food and HE DOESNT GET TREATS(cookies). His treats are ice cubes and frozen carrots! How dare this woman say this to a customer/patient at this animal hospital. You should teach them a LITTLE about customer service. Sorry Hunters Creek Animal Hospital, you've lost my business.

Dr Kirvin is always great with us and our puppy. He treats our 3 cats and occasionally our back yard chickens. Takes the time to make sure we understand before we leave. We live in Wedgefield and drive past many other vets to go here.

My dog had surgery for a bad knee, I knew the dog needed the operation, I found the hospitals price resasonable and the surgery was a success. I am very pleased with the service there, and the follow up.

When my dog was a puppy, he broke his femur and his hip. I went to this hospital on a whim and in desperation, and they treated me and my puppy like family. Dr. Bayer and the other docs at this clinic are by far one of the best veterinarian teams I've met or worked for (i'm a former vet student). Now I have to take my pup back for surgery, this time with the peril of him having liver failure. Dr. Bayer again took his time and sat down to chat and explain the procedure, and helped me make the most informed decision possible. They have a customer for life in me and my family.

I can't say enough how great this Vet is. Two days ago, my senior Golden Retriever was not feeling well, while walking him, he had an alarming amount of blood in his stool, and was vomiting at the same time, I immediately called Hunters Creek and the wonderful receptionist tried to keep me calm on the phone (I was panicked) it was also the end of the day and they were about to close... she put me on hold to check with one of the Doctors, she came back to me and said that Dr. Bayer agreed to stay late and wait for me bring him in. This was only my second visit to this Vet, so my dog was not a patient they were to familiar with. I got my dog there as quickly as I could and Dr. Bayer was WONDERFUL. He calmed me down, explained what he believed had occurred to cause the bleeding, gave him an exam, tested for parasites, gave him a couple of shots, and some meds to bring home. Thankfully as of today, my pup has recovered fully. My vet bill was a very reasonable $170, for the level of service, care and medicine for my dog needed, I had no problem with this amount. Before this emergency visit we had seen Dr. Kirvan for a well visit, and he was equally wonderful. I adopted a senior dog knowing that they will need medical attention, and I am so glad that this is the vet that I chose to go with. Thank you everyone at Hunters Creek Animal Hospital, you are the very, very best.

My dog was diagnosed with cushings which can be a costly process by ruling out numerous minor issues but the confidence and knowledge of the Dr.'s here helped come to a quick diagnosis. My dog is also a little difficult to handle sometimes but she seems to LOVE Courtney, one of the techs!

We have actually been using this place since 1992. All of our pets have gone here. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my animals. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and you can tell they care about your pets. In 2010 I had an emergency with my dog, my dad and I came to the vet 30 mins after they closed and they accommodated, really wanting to help revive my dog. Ever since then I knew this place wasn't in it "for money" they seriously care about every animal that walks through the door. Scheduling an appointment is super easy with the front staff, they want to accommodate you. Even the clients that come here are always nice and love to chat about each others pets! This is by far the best care and service I've received from any veterinarian, and I've tried quite a few over the years. Reasonably priced and most importantly they take the time to get to know your pet and give excellent advisement. Dr. Bayer has been exceptional with our dog Misty. She had a severe allergy problem and he took every measure to help solve the mystery and treat the condition. I am grateful for finding this place and everyone from the reception to the technicians are warm and welcoming. I will recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their pets. Thanks again! I started taking my Pomeranian when he first was a puppy 14 years ago and from the very beginning he loved Dr. Vega! This doctor is very knowledgeable and friendly towards both of us. Dr. Vega was the first to discover his heart murmur which has now turned into Congenital heart failure in which he is taking medication. Even back then, Dr. Vega had informed me on what signs to look for once it started progressing in turn needing medication. His condition has recently taken for the worse and pretty soon it will be time to put him sleep :-(. If I decide to have another pet, I will definitely take it to Dr. Vega. Thank you!

Of all the vets we been to (and we've been to quite a few in several states), this is by far the best! The Staff is compassionate and professional, and the vets are just as compassionate and extremely thorough. They do an excellent job of explaining what they are doing and why, so I never leave the office with unanswered questions or anxiety. Today, we took in one of our dogs for an emergency visit. They got her into promptly and charged us extremely reasonably, even doing her nails for free. I have never experienced a more competent and comfortable environment. This is a prime example of a group of people doing what they love for the benefit of our animals. I hope they know how much they are appreciated in our community!

Terrible. We went there for years thinking we were getting good quality of care. We were wrong. We believed our vets there, like anyone would, and once we got a second opinion about our dogs condition we found out we could have known what was going on with her months before that. They did the tests but didn't read them correctly. I gave our new vet the bloodwork they did on my dog at Hunters Creek and instantly my new vet knew what was going on. And yes, my new vet did new bloodwork just to confirm what they saw in the results from hunters creek. Hunters creek said our dog was in kidney failure. She actually has cushings disease and her kidneys are NOT failing. Also she has had chronic ear infections for a few years and hunters creek gave us some medicine that could damage her ear drum which it already was and they never told us about. They also kept throwing steroids at my dog and never actually giving us answers. So if you want fast food, throw meds at your animal care then go here. If you want proper care, take your animal elsewhere. I will say the vets are nice but they are feeding you lies. I currently take my pet to Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic and it was the best decision I ever made.

They were good for the first few years I went, however when we brought our dog there more recently for a lump on his paw that after surgery had been healing weird, they said his paw had necrosis and they'd have to amputate two toes or maybe his whole paw. We went to another vet for a second opinion, not only did the paw not have necrosis but the paw healed perfectly with just a small amount of antibiotics, the paw healed completely. We haven't gone back since then as almost amputating a paw when all that was needed was antibiotics was a very upsetting 'solution' to the issue.

We have been coming here for nine years now and we love everyone from the front office staff to the techs to the doctors. We have used them for wellness, sick visits, putting one to sleep and even a recent emergency visit. Dr. Marino took great care of our Savannah until her very last visit, which she handled with such compassion. Dr. Kirven saw our Bo for some health issues and worked with me to collaborate on his care. He always presented all options and scenarios and was fully supportive of my choices. Dr. Bayer has turned Danny's life around with laser treatment for degenerative spinal something or other. He recently saved his life after Danny escaped and got severe heat stroke. He was the right mix of realistic about his chances but optimistic about his determination. He communicated with me every step of the way. Dr. Vega is currently working with our newest dog's severe separation anxiety and I love how interacts with Bingo and me. No matter who your pet sees, you are definitely in great hands at Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

We have gone for small ear infections, allergies and even a broken leg on one of our Poodles which required 2 pins. The surgery was great and really I couldn't recommend a better animal hospital.

She is very knowledgeable, always takes the time to explain things, answer questions, and offers several treatment options. Dr. Marino was instrumental in helping my cat to live a long, healthy life. The office staff and vet techs at Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital are also very efficient. They have Saturday hours which makes it convenient for people who work. Since day one my puppy labrador has been treated with love and kindness. Wait time is reasonable and I found it clean. Dr. M. Bayer is who has taken care of us since day one. He makes sure we leave with no doubts, very friendly, and never has he once rushed us. Our puppy had worms and Parvo and thanks to Dr. Bayer and his staff saved our puppy. Our puppy is part of our family and we were determined to do anything to save him. My daughter and I were away when we found out from my husband about his condition. Dr. Bayer was kind enough to speak with me over the phone and explain the process and was giving him aggressive treatment and would stay almost a week. He said I could call during the week to check on him. The night shift nurse was really kind to speak with me over the phone on how he was doing and how she was with him and caring for him. They even let my husband vist him as we video chat. Thanks to this hospital that was highly recommended to me my dog is healthy. I believe they give you great service value with reasonable prices. I would recommend this place.

This place is terrible. They charged a ton of money and were not able to help my dog with his eye problem - another vet recommended a cheap, over the counter ointment which finally did the trick. While Dr. Moran was nice and tried to help me with my dog's hurting back, she tried to sell me on a laser treatment when what the dog really needed was surgery. Dr. Baer advised against the surgery after my dog's herniated disk ruptured; my dog would never have been able to walk again if I had listened to the doctor. They overcharge and underserve, and every time you walk in, you know they are going to try and sell you more expensive services. I really get the feeling this is just a business for these doctors, it is not about the animals. Other former clients will tell you the same thing. Look elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. We have four cats, including one with a heart and chronic skin condition. Dr. Merino, Dr. Kirvin, and Dr. Vega have consistently gone out of their way to help us with our beloved Mindy. I am convinced that Mindy is alive today because of their care. Additionally, when I bring in one or more of the cats, I never feel rushed. All of the vets take the time to answer questions. They are gentle when handling our babies.The staff are pleasant and accommodating. We just moved to Atlanta, and I was so sad to leave this practice. I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to find another veterinary practice whose knowledge, care, and concern for their patients match that of Hunters Creek Animal Hospital.

Ok...Just the fact that my cat's new vet called me to follow-up on my cat a few days later of seeing him... wow. Loved Dr. Moran. I will admit I have been only here once. Usually I take my cat to another hospital but they were full and I kind of wanted to get a second opiniin on my cat's condition. Since summer he has been getting a recurrent urinary tract infenction. Usually he gets antibiotics, biopsy, lab tests, gets better and it comes back. Came here and the place seems pretty legit. Clean, great service and my cat's vet was ever so patience answering my 101 questions. She even explained everything thoroughly. She paid attention to my concers and considered everything I had to say (regarding previous treatment) before deciding how to treat my cat. It has been a few days since I went and my cat seems to be doing better. :)

I was here last Saturday and waited for 90 minutes - and YES, I had an appointment!Today my appointment was for 8:15 and it is almost 9am and we are still waiting! How can you start the day with delays like this? If the trend continuous the 11am appointment will be seen at 4pm!It is time to show some respect to pets and pet owners!!!

We just got a puppy in June that got really sick 3 days later and if it wasn't for the amazing care he got there he probably wouldn't have survived because his sister that was adopted by someone else ...
We just got a puppy in June that got really sick 3 days later and if it wasn't for the amazing care he got there he probably wouldn't have survived because his sister that was adopted by someone else didn't make it.Our dog loves going to the vet and the staff is very friendly and care so much. Our puppy stayed 2 nights there for his treatment and we received a few calls daily from the Vet to give us an update. Dr Vega and Dr MErino.We love this place and am very thankful.

I have been going to Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital since 2001. They have always taken good care of my pets. But since 2006 when the new owners took over I have been especially happy. Dr. Kirven, Bayer, and Vega are surgeons as well as practicing doctors and I have needed their help many times. I would recommend them to anyone who want a vet that really cares out your pet. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. I love them!!!! And the prices are good too!

I really love it here. They are always correct with whatever ailment I have brought my dog in for, and the staff is always kind and friendly. Even though I now live 20 minutes away, I will still make the drive just to see them. The thing I love most is that all of the doctors are good - not just one or two. You're in good hands with all of them!

This location has always taken good care of our "kids" and are very accommodating. Although it's not the most convenient for where we live these days, we can't imagine taking our dog anywhere else!

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY VET!I had to take my dog in this past weekend for TWO unexpected visits in a row and I could not have been happier with the experience! I have been looking for a facility that I felt this good about since I got my cat almost 5 years ago!The staff and doctors were amazing! This is probably my first experience at a vet where I truly felt that they cared about each and every animal! NO nickle and diming on the bill either with crazy disposal or restocking fees. When I had to go back a second day in a row unexpectedly they even waived my exam fee and just charged me for the test I had gotten run! They have a large staff and are very willing to fit in walk-ins and emergencies!

I have taken Yogi and Meeko here. The price is pretty reasonable. They seem to care about the lil animals and you can see it in your pets face. The only thing that my dog, Yogi doesn't like is is getting his nails trimmed there. I did it when we first moved here and last time when he got his shots updated. I probably won't take him back for that anymore. That's the only nightmares i think he cries about in his sleep lol (that I can think of). Besides that, they also took really good care of my cat Meeko. I think he was in bad shape when I took him and esp with his ears. I will be taking him back soon to get his shots updated.
