Ridiculous. From the lady at the front desk yelling & pointing at the customers, to the less than 2 minute exam saying we need to do $400 worth of blood tests immediately. We have to check it here & at another facility . As for payment options, you have 2... pay immediately or get care credit. They don't care about the animals. We went to Dr. Kindred for a second opinion. Our fur baby Luna was so miserable. The office staff was very caring and compassionate enough to squeeze us in last minute. I’ve used this vet for 15 years. My lil Ziggy finally passed, less than 20 hours of being cremated , your office is calling me about a freaking $260 balance on a wellness plan that I was told numerous times “ if the pet dies you no longer have to pay on this plan “!!! This place is the best hands down! Today wasn't the first time I used them, but the whole team does an excellent job. Today I called them when they opened, because my husky was having problems with her eye. They booked me right in. Idk why they have a waiting room; if I show up on time, I never had to wait unlike my own human doctor lol. The doctor here is a great guy and will explain everything to you while considering your thoughts. Even though I was there for an eye problem, he allowed me to ask unrelated concerns over my pup. There are other vets closer to our house but Dr. Kindred and the rest of the staff seem to go out of their way every single time we have visited for our dog from the week we bought him at three months old... He's now approaching two years. My partner used this vet for his previous dog which he had for the last ten years of his life, so altogether we've been using this vet for twelve years and have never once had a complaint. I can't say enough about this place. I adopted a dog from the Orange County Animal Shelter on 4-6-16. I took her to my regular vet to be checked out where she received a clean bill of health. Two days later, she was coughing violently and shaking. It was around 2:00 am so I rushed her to the Pet ER. They diagnosed her with kennel cough and gave her fluids and antibiotics. They told me that she had stabilized when they released her,  but said if she refused to eat or got worse to get her into her vet. That afternoon, as I was getting ready to go to work around 1:30 pm, she began shaking uncontrollably. I immediately called her vet and explained the situation. I was told he was too busy to see her and that I would have to wait 2 days. I took my dog back to the ER where it was discovered her kennel cough had turned into pneumonia. They kept her from 4:00 pm on Saturday to 7:00 am on Monday. They told me to pick a new vet and get her in as soon as possible for follow up care. I looked on the internet exhaustively before I chose. I liked what their website said about the practice. A small veterinary hospital but up to date on the latest new technology. I decided to give them a call. It was around 7:45 am. I asked for an appointment today and was told 11:30 am was available. I then told them the situation with my dog -just released by the ER- the woman on the phone immediately offered to get her in earlier. By 9:30 am my dog was being seen to. Dr Kindred's staff told me that their policy is to always see emergencies as soon as possible. I like their philosophy. I believe I have found the best vet for my dog. Read Less

I had no idea the level of care that me and my pet were going to receive. Not only did I get twice a day updates, but when things got bad I know Dr. Kindred came in specifically when he wasn't supposed to be working to take care of my cat. His staff is extremely empathetic, kind hearted, and personable. When I was worried about payment, they even looked up local organizations that would be able to help in case of an emergency. I mean, I could have googled that, but instead of shrugging me off and saying "figure it out" they actually took the few extra minutes to compile a list of organizations that I could reach out to if things kept getting worse because I was worried and stressed. The staff spent time with my cat to make sure he was being loved and not just sitting in a cage hooked up to tubes and miserable. When I was worried, instead of pawning me off on another staff member Dr. Kindred talked me through everything that was going on, what my options were, and how he can help. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kindred and the wonderful people who work there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Since all the reviews are out dated I figured I'd review. We brought our rescue pup here for the first time last month and have another appointment next week, everyone is super friendly and sweet to our timid girl. Also, since we had her adoption paperwork with us, they gave us a free dose of heartworm medicine and initial exam. Which is almost an 80 dollar value, so I was pretty impressed. Read Less

Was blown away by the lack of concern and compassion julie (receptionist) had for my epileptic mini dashund. Had to pull him from this clinic because she didnt understand the seriousness of the medication he's on (phenobarbital) and when i did it didnt phase her at all. We really wanted to find a vet that was caring and good with our pets. We also wanted someone who our dogs could grow up with. This is exactly what we found with Kindred Spirits. The staff is out of this world. All of the ladies that work inside, really love their job and animals. It is very clear when you go just how much they love their job. Dr. Kindred is a younger guy, so we really liked that our dogs could grow with him, and that he would know their history as they got older. I really like that it never seems like you are waiting in the waiting room with a bunch of other dogs. I think they schedule it that way, and when you come in, they almost immediately take you into your room. I really like that because we have a very large dog that be a big handful. They also have separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs. They also do boarding. We use to board our dogs at Best Friends on Disney since it was closer and we got a discount, but every since they got fleas from Best Friends, we have just used Dr. Kindred. The price is not too bad and we get a multi pet discount because we have 3. We have taken them there a lot, especially for boarding and the ladies have gotten to know us. Its really great because I feel that our dogs are comfortable when we leave. If you board 3 nights or more, they do require a bath, which is an extra charge. Its an extra expense but they come home smelling so clean and fresh. Another thing I like is that they only require you to pay half the boarding when you drop them off and the remainder when you pick them up. It is really nice for us, when we are on vacation for like a week, we can split up that charge. We have always been able to get in with an appointment when needed. We just had our littlest dog, spayed, and everything went perfect. MY favorite thing it that they offer pet health plans. They have different tiers depending on what you need and you pay monthly. It covers their annual checkups and some other things, like her spayed. IT really saves us money because we have 3 dogs and if we can pay a little every month, when we take them in for the yearly checkup, everything is covered, including office visits.  I would definitely recommend taking your animal here, great staff and a wonderful doctor. Best vet I have ever been to! Just had my appointment today. EVERY person in the office was very nice, helpful and comforting to my pet, as well as myself. I was unhappy with my previous vet, so I decided to give Kindred Spirit a try. Best front desk staff, best vet assistants, and very gentle & informative doctor.
