If you need a wonderful place to take your pets, please go here.  They are so caring, very loving.  I just lost Sophia my loving cat who just died in her sleep this Sunday morning at 5:39 am. with no apparent reason.  Possibly a stroke or heart attack? She was healthy and no sign of being ill what so ever.  I called Pine Castle Animal Hospital this morning to let them know and spoke with their staff...  who was so understanding and very sad to hear about my loss.  Dr Klein called me and went through a few questions to find out possibly what happened.  He is such a loving Dr.  Sophia loved him.  I am going to get another cat (kitten) in a few months and will no doubt go back here.  Like I said they are wonderful.  They explain everything to you and answer all questions.  Best Animal Hospital in Orlando surrounding area. I have been taking all of our pets here for several years, and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Since Dr. Klein has purchased the business many improvements have been added, the office is always clean, and a huge help is....they are open Saturday mornings!! His office staff and techs are all friendly and make you feel like family. They are great with both our dogs and are always willing to lend a helping hand or give a hug during those super hard times we all face at some point. We have been seeing Dr. Klein and I can tell you first hand he is the best there is. He honestly cares and treats each and every pet that comes in like they are family. I never feel rushed, and Dr. Klein will answer any/all questions and explain so you totally understand. He recently removed a VERY complicated cyst below my dogs eye...and not only did he remove the cyst, he was able to reconstruct and maintain my puppies normal eye shape! You would never know he had surgery. Another example of the care we have received while going here is a couple years ago my other puppy had mange...she was misdiagnosed until Dr. Klein examined her. She ended up developing a severe case that was resistant to most treatment options. Dr. Klein found the right treatment, helped me with cost saving options for medication, and never gave up on my little girl! No matter how bad she looked he instantly gave her hugs and kisses as soon as he walked in the exam room. It is clearly obvious he takes a personal interest in his patients. Dr. Klein is the best doctor that I know. My doggie has been a patient of his for for over 13 years. Dr. Klein has shown great compassion towards my doggie whom has heart issues. Best vet in Orlando! Saved my sweet Mew's life even stayed after closing to do a emergency C-section. We were told that one of the kittens more than likely wouldn't make it and there was a good chance the other one might not, we appreciate the honesty. But both kittens are doing great so far. Called as a new client looking to get my dog in asap. It was late in the day and extremely last minute and they were able to squeeze us in. I was so appreciative. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor was so nice. And the tech (i wish i remembered her name) was so great with my dog. We will definitely be making this our regular vets office. Other places we've been to only see dollar signs and dont seem to care about what they do. But with Pine Castle, the compassion and love for animals is definitely there. Read Less

Dr. Klein and his staff are absolutely amazing and attentive with their patients and our animals. I brought our “designated stray cat” Lucky and they handled him with such care and love. I was hesitant because I know how serious his injury are and other vets reacted oddly when I said he’s our stray cat but not here they attended to my emergency immediately. I left feeling relieved but still worried of course because Lucky is very important but he assured me they would remain in contact with me. Honestly I Would give more stars if I could!!! My precious dog went in for a benign tumor that she grew, and she had to stay with the vet for a few days, the doctors and nurses took care of her very well. The team was also very honest about pricing of everything before I continued with their service ( if you don't have insurance) . My dog was healthy and happy after her operation and I am trusting to continue using this facility as her primary veterinarian care 🙂 Read Less

I rescued my dog in December and when I got him he had hookworm. The vet I was taking him to couldn't cure it and wouldn't give me answers and just kept giving me medicine I had to keep paying for. When I brought him here I was super happy. Dr Bosso (I believe is her name) was amazing and spent time with my dog and answered all my questions and explained everything. She explained why it's taking forever for the hookworm to be cured and made me feel so much better. The vet tech was also super nice and helpful and very knowledgeable and they explained things to me unlike my previous vet. The only "complaint" I have was the 250 dollars I had to spend. The vet showed me flea medicine I should use since my dog was infested with them when I got him that he still had a few. She didn't tell me that it would cost 135 dollars. But in her defense it was something that in the end I would have bought anyway because my dog really does need it. I just wish she told me the price before I checked out. But other then that I'm extremely happy I found them. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable and made me feel a lot better. Besides the price of the flea medicine, they're pricing for everything else; vet visit, sample testing etc were extremely reasonable and I'm happy I found them! Read Less

We have been bringing our Chow Chow and our cat here for years. The staff, the doctors and techs are fantastic! They are so great with my Chow Chow and understand his breed and have been successfully treating his thyroid issues for years. Our most recent trip we brought in our sweet Batty cat for a swollen lip we saw Dr. Klein he is friendly and doesn't mind answering questions. Batty trusted him right away and made friends. He was able to identify her issue and treat it successfully. They always get you in especially in emergency situations. Can't say enough how great it is to have them up the street from us. The day I brought my dog here, I was dealing with a doggie day care crisis just before I was leaving for 4-day vacation. My usual dog daycare place was complaining that my dog (a mixed breed) was exhibiting fear aggression about his apartment. His energy level was just too much for the staff to handle so they asked me to come pick him up.Frantic, I called dozens of places nearby for last-minute boarding. Pine Castle was able to take my dog last minute and after meeting with him for temperament and checking his papers, they were confident they could board him without any problems. They were compassionate, friendly and really seemed to care about animals.I loved that all the staff members were truly interested in his personality and making him feel comfortable with treats and other methods. We adopted a kitten from Pine Castle.  A friend found a 5 day old kitten in the wall of his home (the mother was nowhere to be found), and they took it to Pine Castle for them to care for it until it was old enough to be adopted.  Two vet techs spent round-the-clock care on the little guy, getting up at all hours to bottle feed him.  I adopted him at 5 weeks of age, and have continued to bring him back to Pine Castle for all of his needs.The receptionists are always warm and friendly, be it on the phone or in person.  Each vet is personable and polite, and the vet techs are fantastic.  So happy to continue bringing Wally to these awesome people! A sad time for us when we had to lose an old friend, but all of the staff at Pine Castle Animal Hospital were considerate and understanding. When the time finally came, the treatment accorded Roman can only be described as wonderful. They kept him calm and were very gentle even though Roman was a big 100 pound plus dog. They let us stay with him and administered an anesthetic so Roman could go peacefully to sleep before the final step was taken. We will never forget all of their kindnesses. I am not someone who normally writes reviews but i had to write one about this clinic. I was at my end of options with my cat and came to Pine Castle for a 2nd opinion. These people here are the best. the doctors found the problem with my cat and now she is doing great. i would not reccomend any other plae to go if you have a pet that needs to be treated right. I am amazed at how wonderful the people are at Pine Castle Animal Clinic. I have moved all over the US and rely on CitySearch and their reviews and i think this place is just SUPERB! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and the people here are just wonderful. The doctors are so kind and explained everything to me in detail. I have had such a great experience with Pine Castle and there staff that I will not go to another clinic. I have been looking for a vet for years and I am finally glad I found one that is reasonable, friendly, knowledgable, and open 6 days a week. When we recently traveled (May 2008) from Nashville, TN to Orlando, FL to enjoy Sea World for 2 days, we were a bit concerned about kenneling our 6 month old beagle pup for the 1st time - especially being out of State and not knowing if the place is actually as good as it sounds online. We were delighted by Pine Castle Animal Hospital. The staff there ALL treated our boy with love and affection. The staff is SO friendly - I felt like we have known them for a long time! We felt so comfortable with them that we decided to leave him overnight instead of retrieving him and going back the next morning. He was with them two days total. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up - in fact, we asked them to clean his ears and clip his nails and they totally handled it for us at a very reasonable price! The other big surprise was that it only cost $16.00 for 2 days of kenneling - a major deal we thought! Pine Castle is about a 30 minute drive from Sea World - a little bummer, but WELL worth it and really an easy drive via I-4. I HIGHLY recommend Pine Castle in Orlando, FL. This is the BEST kennel I have ever found, in the state of Florida or anywhere around. The veterinarians and staff there are well trained and friendly and really seem to care about the animals and the people. The kennels look brand new and are in immaculate condition. It is clean and the animals are all well adjusted. I love the fact there is a veterinarian on staff to monitor and treat my pet. I have looked into other kennels that let them play with other dogs, and having seen, what it appears to be, untrained staff, with all these dogs running around and fighting at certain points, I am glad to know my pet gets special one on one attention instead of being thrown into a room with a whole bunch of other dogs. I have four pets and it is hard to find a reliable, clean, friendly, and well skilled Veterinary Clinic, but Pine Castle Animal Clinic offers all of this and more. The skilled staff and Doctors are all there to help you and your pets. They are frinedly and honest and saved one of my pets that was near death. My dog Stella has led a long and productive life because of the care I received at the clinic. I don't know what I would do without them. I have boarded my pets many times and even in emergencies the staff is so caring and loving, my pets come out well adjusted, happy and clean. I wouldn't go any were else. I boarded my Yorkshire Terrier here based on this site's reviews, and it was a terrible mistake. From the moment you enter the building, you are enveloped in the overwhelming scent of vanilla trying to mask the funk in the air. The staff tries to get you to have your animal groomed so you will not learn how deplorable the conditions really are; my dog, who I keep well-groomed with a short puppy-cut, was extremely dirty with dried feces attached his backside.
