I brought my cat here and they were nice. I did wait a while and so did others sitting in the waiting room. They kept asking about fleas even though he's never had them and does not currently have them. They said to get him neutered was going to be $250 which I thought was pretty high in price. My cat left happy and was not stressed out during the visit which is really what matters.

If you truly care for your animals please do not take them here.After getting a positive test back for FeLV they only wanted to put our kitty down.They also gave her vaccinations BEFORE the test results came in ( 10 minutes ) which any educated Vet would know you DO NOT do because it can hurt their immune system if they do have FeLV.Thank God we didn't listen to put her down! They did not give any options at all only to put her down immediately.Cats with FeLV are contagious to other cats but if they are in a single cat home they can be treated and live healthy happy lives for years. Because we didn't give up or listen to this very uneducated Vet this little kitty is happy in a new home with someone who took her to a good Vet and says ALL she has can be treated with medications and she will go on to live a happy life with her new family. I will never understand people that are in this business that don't have the BEST interest of the animals at their heart???? Death was NOT the only option here. Shame on this place! I hope it shuts down!!

We have been taking our dogs to this facility for several years without any incidents. For that reason, we decided to board our dogs with them, for a week, while we took a trip out of town. All the dogs had their examinations/required vaccinations there prior to dropping them off. Halfway through our trip, we get a call from their office saying that one of our 4 dogs has a problem with one of his eyes. We approved the examination and treatment. Upon our return to pick them, 3 out of the 4 dogs had issues. Besides the eye on the one, another had a filthy ear, and another had diarrhea. The eye issue developed into an ulcer which required surgery a week later to have it removed at our expense (over a $1000). Since all of this occurred during the time that they had care, custody, and control of our dogs, the least they could have done is pick up the tab instead of sticking it to us on top of all the money we already spent with them. We take very good care of our pets and it is a HUGE disappointment that it came to this. Needless to say, we are looking for a new veterinarian. Attached are a few photos.

We adopted a greyhound a couple weeks ago and brought him here for a check up. Everyone was so sweet and kind to him, he was a little nervous and they really made him feel more relaxed. Dr Blake is wonderful with greyhounds, he answered all of our questions and helped us come up with a treatment plan for our dog. The facility is clean and welcoming. We can rest assured that they have our dog's best interests at heart.

Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital exceeds my expectations in so many ways. Our vet, Dr. Blake is compassionate, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond in taking care of our pets.We recently had to put our Shitzu down. She was already 14 years old and it was the hardest thing we ever had to do. The euthanasia procedure was done with such love and Dr. Blake allowed us time to say our goodbyes and talk to Brandi while she passed. We now have another dog, Dakota who is experiencing the same loving care that Dr. Blake and Waterford Lakes is known for.We would follow him to the ends of the earth - he's that good.

Staff is always very friendly and are great about talking through which products work best for your pet and at the right price. I really appreciated that they took the time to explain each flea/heartworm medications they carry and they were willing to tell me that the $50 cheaper one was actually better for my puppy.
On this specific visit, they were short staffed due to a dog bite, though the wait was a little longer than usual, they were still very friendly and made sure my puppy got the attention she deserved. :) 10/10 recommend

Excellent animal hospital. The front staff is very kind and polite, while the waiting area is both clean and large enough in size to be comfortable for us and most importantly our pets. The Veterinarians and technicians are also very kind, helpful, and explain everything very well while also addressing any concerns we may have at the same time. We haven't done any grooming service so I cannot comment on that aspect. My only complaint is the costs may be a bit higher than some other places but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, you may check out another place for price but come back here for service.

I would not advise going to this vet. My dog has been a patient there for 5 years & used to get great service. However, the owner retired & it has gone down hill from there.
My cat is urinating blood & is having bowel issues & they told me there is nothing they can do to see her sooner, except charge a $60 fee for walk in.
It's great to see people who care about animals.
They also tried to talk me into a teeth cleaning for my dog that was $400, but when I brought her to a different vet, they were dumbfounded they wanted to do this because of her age & because her teeth did not need a cleaning.
I have removed both my cat & my dog from their services.

We've been bringing our four dogs to Waterford for quite awhile now, and we love the veterinary team here. I recently brought my senior Greyhound in for her checkup, and I came in with a few concerns about her legs. The vet spent a lot of time sitting on the floor and feeling Lily's legs, moving her legs, and asking me all the questions needed. I know Lily is getting the best care (along with my other dogs), and I am so comfortable with the staff here. Everybody is very friendly, and they love the animals!

All the staff and veterinarians are very friendly here and so great with the animals. I never have trouble getting an appointment and they are partnered with a nearby after-hours emergency pet hospital that is equally as great. They go the extra mile by putting up a really cute welcome board for all the pets coming in for appointments that week - even though the pets don't realize it, it makes me smile!

I found a previous vet in the area and was not able to receive enough information on a type of surgery my dog needed. I scheduled an appointment with waterford to get more information. As soon as I got there they seemed to have a problem with the fact that I was getting a second opinion. Secondly, they told me i couldn't see a vet because they DID NOT WANT TO WASTE MY TIME. Even after making an appointment and driving 30 minutes to get there I was not serviced. I then had to find another place to take my dog. Go somewhere else if you want a place that genuinely cares about your pet.
Edit: I appreciate the general manager calling me and talking to me about my experience after this post. He seemed very sincere about resolving the issue.

I love Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I have used them as my Vet for a few years now, but this was the first time I used their Groomer services. Two years ago I used a different groomer who damaged my dog's fur so bad that it took this long to grow back in right. I was so happy with the results yesterday with the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital Groomer! I explained what I was hoping to have done and she sent me a picture when she was done to make sure I was happy before I came to pick up my dog. She was perfect! I won't use anyone else!!

I've been bringing my dog Foxy here for about 10 years. Dr. Hutchinson is always very patient and thorough. It shows that he cares about his patients and wants to take the best approach possible. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ash (vet tech) last time I took Foxy in for a checkup and she was wonderful. She and Foxy became fast friends. It's never comfortable for you or your pet to go to the vet, but at Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital they make it pleasant and as painless as possible. I have had to wait in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes on several occasions (even with an appointment) so I would recommend making the first available am apportionment.

Waterford Lake Animal Hospital provides awesome care to your pets. The front staff is always polite and greets you with a smile. The facility is very clean and doesn't smell like cats and/or dogs when you sit in the waiting area. The vet techs are caring and comfort my very nervous cats each time we visit. The vets are awesome with my cats and always do a thorough exam. Each step is always explained as they Exam your pet. I recently got home from a work trip and thought my dog didn't seem quite right. Mommy Gut I knew something was wrong! It's a Saturday and the office closes in 30 minutes. But when I called they could hear my fear and allowed me to bring my dog in. Dr Donnelly and technician Ashley were so kind and thorough. Losing a pet is always hard and for us it was devastating. We brought our pug in because the was having some sort of seizure and their staff was incredible. They received us right away and we're very up front about the potential costs before administering anything. After speaking with the vet on staff and much heartbreaking deliberation, we decided that it was best to say goodbye to our sweet pug. They made her comfortable as she passed and we're very respectful of our emotional out pour. They even sent us a signed sympathy card later that week. Thank you so much!

Can't say enough good things about this site. When computer prob screwed up an appointment for my golden's surgery today, the entire staff worked to get her in and make her comfortable. Everybody there communicated well about her condition and progress, and you can tell by the way the staff handles the animals that they all very much love pets. Services are priced reasonably, the office is clean and modern, and the staff caring and knowledgeable. Couldn't seek out more in a vet to care for your pet companions.

I highly recommend Waterford lakes animal hospital. Dr. Singlar is wonderful helping my baby Logan with his allergies. He is a problem child to say the least but we are treated like family by her and the sweet staff they have. He is a handful getting his nails cut and the tech's are always patient and genital with him. With all the bad press pit bulls get its refreshing to see he is welcome always. My not so friendly Siamese mix Frankie is always well cared for and his health and well being is always a priority .

Kudos to the best Vets ever!!! I just visited for the first time with my 65lb high anxiety dog Dakota. Dr Blake and his staff were amazing! My dog was put at ease enough to be examined, shots, blood work, ear medication without the use of anesthesia. I cannot thank them enough. I felt very deceived by my experience there. I wish they cared a bit more about their patients. The front desk crew is wonderful and very nice and the facility is nice, but the vet and vet techs really just push for unnecessary treatments and testing to bump up the costs and to see how much they can make you pay. I had an appointment for my dog and on the day of the appointment the price estimate was increased by $300 from my original procedure estimate. Apparently the original procedure estimate did not include all the costs. (I don't know why they would even bother to give me an estimate). The vet apologized for not including the full price. She said it was her mistake to not include the full tumor removal prices, but that mistake only accounted for $150... so I was unclear as to where the other $150 being charged was coming from. I am a recent grad and I don't really make a lot of money, but I care a lot about my dog's health and making sure he stays healthy, so I wanted to know the pricing upfront to be able to save up enough money to get the procedures done.
When I brought up the price increase, they worked down the cost to what it originally was by taking away costs that were not too "necessary", which was nice of them, but I really don't appreciate them acting as if they had done me a favor by bringing down the price.
I would rather not do business with a place that attempts to cheat you of your money. I decided to take my dog elsewhere.
I just returned from having a consultation done by another vet and they were more affordable and honest.

I love the way the vets and techs handle and treat my dog at the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I have been coming here for almost 4 years now and they have never let me down, from medication and shots to grooming need. They only have one flaw in their establishment, the front desk witch named Jeanette. She enjoys talking back to customers, talking over customers and also being a terrible face for a company I've always thought to be impeccable. She is truly the demise to your establishment, i mean how are you going to allow a front desk girl to give me a quote on a visit, then when I walk out it DOUBLE her quote?! Stating, "I didn't know you were getting these procedures done." YOU'RE THE FRONT DESK GIRL, you should either know what is included in visits or keep just your mouth shut and stop being ignorant.
All in all, this is the best vet in the south eastern orlando area... hands down. They just need to make sure the face of their company (front desk Jeanette) matches the quality of work their vets and techs provide.

When selecting the place to take my first pet, I am so thankful a friend and fellow Yelp Elite recommended WLAH. The reception staff were kind, welcoming and very accommodating for a last minute appointment to squeeze my pet in for her first visit. As a new pet owner, I was exceptionally overwhelmed, and the bedside manner of each and every single person at WLAH blew me away. The facilities are clean, organized, and welcoming to pets of all shapes and sizes. One of the other upticks is that not only the staff but also those who bring their pets are all remember the first time they were a first time pet owner, so there is plenty of sympathy and patience to go around. Dr. Wright and his assistants explained everything to me in plain language and provided me with honest information about their preferred medication brands and food brand recommendations. Thankfully, this was my dog's first visit and since she was up to date on her shots and medication, it was merely a wellness check. I am not only confident that my pet is in the most capable hands, but she will be treated like family while in their care.

My family moved from Michigan and I've honestly been stressing out about finding a vet for my babies. I had to take my 5 year old cat in for his yearly exam and rabies vaccine, so I did a little research online. Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital had excellent reviews, so I booked an appointment. I was instantly put at ease from the moment I walked through the door. All staff were very professional and courteous. They answered all my questions and were respectful of my decisions. I am so glad I found a place for all my pets!

The doctor was very loving and caring... probably the most genuine veterinarian I've ever visited in my whole life! Other lower-cost vets that I've visited were all harsh, rushed, and just stressful to be around (sometimes even just plain rude). If you care about your furry friends PLEASE bring them here!
I will definitely be going back for all my veterinary needs. This practice really does care. It's MORE than worth the cost! The practice itself is very clean and organized and smells good! The techs and receptionists are just as hospitable as the vets. Not a single complaint!

By far my favorite vet office in my life!!!! My 9 year old pug was having problems with her back legs and walking. She scared the heck out of me and have very rarely been to a vet. I was always cautious of not trusting doctors opinions and felt vets were only out for money. They did an xray and blood test and put my mind at ease of what her diagnosis was and found out it was arthritis. They are a bit pricey but they have the best equipment around. They have this cold laser therapy for pain . Not only do they have the best equipment very nice atmosphere office but they have the friendliest staff around that I could ask for. The number one thing also that I enjoyed with this vet is there a follow up calls and there concern and compassion for my dog's health. They want you to be informed of the condition and progress in health. Thank you so much.

I'm sure the staff and vets here care about animals and have their best intentions at heart, but what our vet did NOT seem to have was a firm grasp of the scientific method as applied to veterinary medicine. We brought our cat here with a chronic sinus infection. The vet's first course of action was to prescribe various natural remedies and herbal cures (one product had to be ordered from Sedona Labs, if that tells you anything). When two courses of these didn't work, I came back for my final visit, during which the vet explained to me that he was going to lay hands on my cat and use fluctuations in its energy field to determine the proper dosage of the next homeopathic medication we were about to try.Nope. Not kidding.Took my cat immediately to another animal hospital, and they quickly prescribed straight-up antibiotics (which finally gave my poor cat some relief).I've nothing against feline chakra energy work and paw-reiki as a supplemental treatment, but when it comes to health issues - go with the science-based medicine FIRST.

They kept asking about fleas even though he's never had them and does not currently have them. They said to get him neutered was going to be $250 which I thought was pretty high in price. My cat left happy and was not stressed out during the visit which is really what matters.

If you truly care for your animals please do not take them here.After getting a positive test back for FeLV they only wanted to put our kitty down.They also gave her vaccinations BEFORE the test results came in ( 10 minutes ) which any educated Vet would know you DO NOT do because it can hurt their immune system if they do have FeLV.Thank God we didn't listen to put her down! They did not give any options at all only to put her down immediately.Cats with FeLV are contagious to other cats but if they are in a single cat home they can be treated and live healthy happy lives for years. Because we didn't give up or listen to this very uneducated Vet this little kitty is happy in a new home with someone who took her to a good Vet and says ALL she has can be treated with medications and she will go on to live a happy life with her new family. I will never understand people that are in this business that don't have the BEST interest of the animals at their heart???? Death was NOT the only option here. Shame on this place! I hope it shuts down!!

We have been taking our dogs to this facility for several years without any incidents. For that reason, we decided to board our dogs with them, for a week, while we took a trip out of town. All the dogs had their examinations/required vaccinations there prior to dropping them off. Halfway through our trip, we get a call from their office saying that one of our 4 dogs has a problem with one of his eyes. We approved the examination and treatment. Upon our return to pick them, 3 out of the 4 dogs had issues. Besides the eye on the one, another had a filthy ear, and another had diarrhea. The eye issue developed into an ulcer which required surgery a week later to have it removed at our expense (over a $1000). Since all of this occurred during the time that they had care, custody, and control of our dogs, the least they could have done is pick up the tab instead of sticking it to us on top of all the money we already spent with them. We take very good care of our pets and it is a HUGE disappointment that it came to this. Needless to say, we are looking for a new veterinarian. Attached are a few photos.

We adopted a greyhound a couple weeks ago and brought him here for a check up. Everyone was so sweet and kind to him, he was a little nervous and they really made him feel more relaxed. Dr Blake is wonderful with greyhounds, he answered all of our questions and helped us come up with a treatment plan for our dog. The facility is clean and welcoming. We can rest assured that they have our dog's best interests at heart.

Our vet, Dr. Blake is compassionate, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond in taking care of our pets.We recently had to put our Shitzu down. She was already 14 years old and it was the hardest thing we ever had to do. The euthanasia procedure was done with such love and Dr. Blake allowed us time to say our goodbyes and talk to Brandi while she passed. We now have another dog, Dakota who is experiencing the same loving care that Dr. Blake and Waterford Lakes is known for.We would follow him to the ends of the earth - he's that good.

Staff is always very friendly and are great about talking through which products work best for your pet and at the right price. I really appreciated that they took the time to explain each flea/heartworm medications they carry and they were willing to tell me that the $50 cheaper one was actually better for my puppy.
On this specific visit, they were short staffed due to a dog bite, though the wait was a little longer than usual, they were still very friendly and made sure my puppy got the attention she deserved. :) 10/10 recommend

Excellent animal hospital. The front staff is very kind and polite, while the waiting area is both clean and large enough in size to be comfortable for us and most importantly our pets. The Veterinarians and technicians are also very kind, helpful, and explain everything very well while also addressing any concerns we may have at the same time. We haven't done any grooming service so I cannot comment on that aspect. My only complaint is the costs may be a bit higher than some other places but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, you may check out another place for price but come back here for service.

My cat is urinating blood & is having bowel issues & they told me there is nothing they can do to see her sooner, except charge a $60 fee for walk in.
It's great to see people who care about animals.
They also tried to talk me into a teeth cleaning for my dog that was $400, but when I brought her to a different vet, they were dumbfounded they wanted to do this because of her age & because her teeth did not need a cleaning.
I have removed both my cat & my dog from their services.

The vet spent a lot of time sitting on the floor and feeling Lily's legs, moving her legs, and asking me all the questions needed. I know Lily is getting the best care (along with my other dogs), and I am so comfortable with the staff here. Everybody is very friendly, and they love the animals!

All the staff and veterinarians are very friendly here and so great with the animals. I never have trouble getting an appointment and they are partnered with a nearby after-hours emergency pet hospital that is equally as great. They go the extra mile by putting up a really cute welcome board for all the pets coming in for appointments that week - even though the pets don't realize it, it makes me smile!

This was the worse experience I have ever had with an animal hospital. I am not from the area and was looking for a place to take my dog. I found a previous vet in the area and was not able to receive enough information on a type of surgery my dog needed. I scheduled an appointment with waterford to get more information. As soon as I got there they seemed to have a problem with the fact that I was getting a second opinion. Secondly, they told me i couldn't see a vet because they DID NOT WANT TO WASTE MY TIME. Even after making an appointment and driving 30 minutes to get there I was not serviced. I then had to find another place to take my dog. Go somewhere else if you want a place that genuinely cares about your pet.
Edit: I appreciate the general manager calling me and talking to me about my experience after this post. He seemed very sincere about resolving the issue.

I love Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I have used them as my Vet for a few years now, but this was the first time I used their Groomer services. Two years ago I used a different groomer who damaged my dog's fur so bad that it took this long to grow back in right. I was so happy with the results yesterday with the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital Groomer! I explained what I was hoping to have done and she sent me a picture when she was done to make sure I was happy before I came to pick up my dog. She was perfect! I won't use anyone else!!

I've been bringing my dog Foxy here for about 10 years. Dr. Hutchinson is always very patient and thorough. It shows that he cares about his patients and wants to take the best approach possible. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ash (vet tech) last time I took Foxy in for a checkup and she was wonderful. She and Foxy became fast friends. It's never comfortable for you or your pet to go to the vet, but at Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital they make it pleasant and as painless as possible. I have had to wait in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes on several occasions (even with an appointment) so I would recommend making the first available am apportionment.

Losing a pet is always hard and for us it was devastating. We brought our pug in because the was having some sort of seizure and their staff was incredible. They received us right away and we're very up front about the potential costs before administering anything. After speaking with the vet on staff and much heartbreaking deliberation, we decided that it was best to say goodbye to our sweet pug. They made her comfortable as she passed and we're very respectful of our emotional out pour. They even sent us a signed sympathy card later that week. Thank you so much!

Can't say enough good things about this site. When computer prob screwed up an appointment for my golden's surgery today, the entire staff worked to get her in and make her comfortable. Everybody there communicated well about her condition and progress, and you can tell by the way the staff handles the animals that they all very much love pets. Services are priced reasonably, the office is clean and modern, and the staff caring and knowledgeable. Couldn't seek out more in a vet to care for your pet companions.

My dog was put at ease enough to be examined, shots, blood work, ear medication without the use of anesthesia. I cannot thank them enough. I felt very deceived by my experience there. I wish they cared a bit more about their patients. The front desk crew is wonderful and very nice and the facility is nice, but the vet and vet techs really just push for unnecessary treatments and testing to bump up the costs and to see how much they can make you pay. I had an appointment for my dog and on the day of the appointment the price estimate was increased by $300 from my original procedure estimate. Apparently the original procedure estimate did not include all the costs. (I don't know why they would even bother to give me an estimate). The vet apologized for not including the full price. She said it was her mistake to not include the full tumor removal prices, but that mistake only accounted for $150... so I was unclear as to where the other $150 being charged was coming from. I am a recent grad and I don't really make a lot of money, but I care a lot about my dog's health and making sure he stays healthy, so I wanted to know the pricing upfront to be able to save up enough money to get the procedures done.
When I brought up the price increase, they worked down the cost to what it originally was by taking away costs that were not too "necessary", which was nice of them, but I really don't appreciate them acting as if they had done me a favor by bringing down the price.
I would rather not do business with a place that attempts to cheat you of your money. I decided to take my dog elsewhere.
I just returned from having a consultation done by another vet and they were more affordable and honest.

I love the way the vets and techs handle and treat my dog at the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I have been coming here for almost 4 years now and they have never let me down, from medication and shots to grooming need. They only have one flaw in their establishment, the front desk witch named Jeanette. She enjoys talking back to customers, talking over customers and also being a terrible face for a company I've always thought to be impeccable. She is truly the demise to your establishment, i mean how are you going to allow a front desk girl to give me a quote on a visit, then when I walk out it DOUBLE her quote?! Stating, "I didn't know you were getting these procedures done." YOU'RE THE FRONT DESK GIRL, you should either know what is included in visits or keep just your mouth shut and stop being ignorant.
All in all, this is the best vet in the south eastern orlando area... hands down. They just need to make sure the face of their company (front desk Jeanette) matches the quality of work their vets and techs provide.

When selecting the place to take my first pet, I am so thankful a friend and fellow Yelp Elite recommended WLAH. The reception staff were kind, welcoming and very accommodating for a last minute appointment to squeeze my pet in for her first visit. As a new pet owner, I was exceptionally overwhelmed, and the bedside manner of each and every single person at WLAH blew me away. The facilities are clean, organized, and welcoming to pets of all shapes and sizes. One of the other upticks is that not only the staff but also those who bring their pets are all remember the first time they were a first time pet owner, so there is plenty of sympathy and patience to go around. Dr. Wright and his assistants explained everything to me in plain language and provided me with honest information about their preferred medication brands and food brand recommendations. Thankfully, this was my dog's first visit and since she was up to date on her shots and medication, it was merely a wellness check. I am not only confident that my pet is in the most capable hands, but she will be treated like family while in their care.

I had to take my 5 year old cat in for his yearly exam and rabies vaccine, so I did a little research online. Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital had excellent reviews, so I booked an appointment. I was instantly put at ease from the moment I walked through the door. All staff were very professional and courteous. They answered all my questions and were respectful of my decisions. I am so glad I found a place for all my pets!

Other lower-cost vets that I've visited were all harsh, rushed, and just stressful to be around (sometimes even just plain rude). If you care about your furry friends PLEASE bring them here!
I will definitely be going back for all my veterinary needs. This practice really does care. It's MORE than worth the cost! The practice itself is very clean and organized and smells good! The techs and receptionists are just as hospitable as the vets. Not a single complaint!

By far my favorite vet office in my life!!!! My 9 year old pug was having problems with her back legs and walking. She scared the heck out of me and have very rarely been to a vet. I was always cautious of not trusting doctors opinions and felt vets were only out for money. They did an xray and blood test and put my mind at ease of what her diagnosis was and found out it was arthritis. They are a bit pricey but they have the best equipment around. They have this cold laser therapy for pain . Not only do they have the best equipment very nice atmosphere office but they have the friendliest staff around that I could ask for. The number one thing also that I enjoyed with this vet is there a follow up calls and there concern and compassion for my dog's health. They want you to be informed of the condition and progress in health. Thank you so much.

I'm sure the staff and vets here care about animals and have their best intentions at heart, but what our vet did NOT seem to have was a firm grasp of the scientific method as applied to veterinary medicine. We brought our cat here with a chronic sinus infection. The vet's first course of action was to prescribe various natural remedies and herbal cures (one product had to be ordered from Sedona Labs, if that tells you anything). When two courses of these didn't work, I came back for my final visit, during which the vet explained to me that he was going to lay hands on my cat and use fluctuations in its energy field to determine the proper dosage of the next homeopathic medication we were about to try.Nope. Not kidding.Took my cat immediately to another animal hospital, and they quickly prescribed straight-up antibiotics (which finally gave my poor cat some relief).I've nothing against feline chakra energy work and paw-reiki as a supplemental treatment, but when it comes to health issues - go with the science-based medicine FIRST.
