The staff is completely incompetent!  My dog was supposed to have surgery and one of the staff fed him because he looked hungry?!  They told me they didn't mark his cage with his information!!  This situation could have been so much worse!  These animals are your patients!  Get it together or you are going to kill one of them because of incompetence!  Should have checked the hospital reviews first then I would have known how bad it was there. While this has been our "go to" vet services for several years, we have decided to change to a new provider. This place was great. We were referred there by Mayfair animal hospital because the doctor at Mayfair was gone for a few days so they sent us there in the meantime. They identified the problem with our dog immediately the staff there was funny they were friendly and the place was clean nice and cool and your first visit is free of charge which was really surprising in this day and age. It's not easily seen from Aloma Avenue but if you live in the area it's a good place to go and the prices are comparable to others I think their office visit was like $39 but like I said your first time there is free Read Less

I went there because my friend told me about a special they have in there. First when the Doctor come to us he didn't look at me and my husband he didn't even say hi, he just ask his assistant what happens to my dog, anyway my husband was asking him some questions but he never made any eye contact, also the Doctor and the assistant they both took my dog to do x rays and blood test but they never ask or say that it will be extra charge for it, I thought they incluide it on the special price they were telling me before. They don't have a good communication with the costumers so make sure if you go there to ask before they do anything to your pet how much it will cost because when I received my bill they almost had to attends me because I wasn't ready to pay $540 just for half hour that we went there. I found a hurt kitten and they told me they could not take it. I said I don’t think it will make it. Only when I said well I have to go to work so I will have to leave the kitten In The box outside your door they said they would take it. The receptionist said take it to the back until the dr gets here. The tech would not even look at it to see the kitten at all. He just folded the lid in and took it to the back. Then I tried leaving a $25 donation and they said we won’t take it that does’t even touch the cost of putting it down. Really so you refuse a donation? Bad business in my eyes! They have late appts, which is super nice in an emergency.  My big problem is the smell.  They have 2 overpowering electric fragrance dispensers with a flowery smell.  It's horrible.  I got a headache while waiting.  The smell is also in the patients rooms.  Ppl with migraines or allergies, should avoid this place.  And I'm not sure it can be good for animals, who have powerful sense of smell.   I feel like it's almost poisoning them with chemicals.  Maybe vanilla or orange citrus would be better and a little less goes a long way.  The other component is they have not fixed their sign outside.  So it's this rectangular bright light (approx. 3 ft x 2 ft) in the middle of the night, glaring while driving is not good.  Staff seems nice but the smell and disregard for street safety makes me not want to spend my money here, except for emergencies. Used this vet for all my puppy's needs until last night. My dog ate an entire box of Valentine's Day chocolate so I called to see if I needed to rush him in or if there was something I could do at home (it was 10:30pm and they close at 12am). Whoever answered the phone gave no sense of urgency, huffed and puffed like a 5 year old child waking up from a nap, nothing but "uhhhhh well the doctor just left" and took his sweet time to tell me to call another emergency vet. So I called the closest vet that was still open, and the first person to answer the phone knew exactly what to do, gave me thorough step by step instructions and things to look out for. I've honestly never been to a more down to earth, caring, real veterinarian office than this one. My doberman had been having problems for months. I took her to multiple vets and spent tons of money. I ended up going to Aloma Jancy based on a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. The entire team there was incredible. The vet, Dr Pilip, was able to diagnose her confidently and even though the news wasn't good they made me feel so much better about what was to come. They've been nothing short of amazing with providing her medication and not charging me an arm and a leg to care for my fur baby that I love so dearly. They give me advice and refills and clearly care about the animals they care for more than the money they take in. She has actually been feeling good and has been around for weeks longer than we thought she would be. They've gone all out to make sure she lives her last days comfortable and with minimal pain. I'm switching to them for all of my animals and I hope that Dr Pilip and Irene and the rest of the staff at Aloma Jancy are there for the rest of my fur babies lives. I couldn't be more grateful. I continue to take my dog here bc 3/4 doctors are great. There is one (who I won't say) that is veryyyy confusing and does not explain things well. I just make sure my appointments are with the others and it's fine. Also.. once we get into the exam room the wait for the doctor is sooooo long. I waited in the exam room for an hour once. I used to love this place and for Veterinary service, I would say they are top notch. That being said their kennel staff are incompetent and neglectful. I left my dog Hali in their care for a few weeks while moving. I called multiple times to check on my dog and see if she was eating and multiple times I was assured that she was doing very well.. contrary to this when I went to pick up my dog, she had lost well over 20 lbs and was sick with kennel cough..basically pneumonia that is rather contagious. At the time I picked her up the kennel tech had told me that Hali had been eating very well but she hadn't been doing well at first which is contrary to everything else I had been told. Also I had got the impression from her that my dog may have nipped her or something she showed signs of fear toward my dog and it was obvious that she had basically just been left in the cage the entire time. Hali was skin and bones her nails were long and her fur looked matted and poorly kept... not to mention the fact that she had kennel cough pneumonia. Previous to dropping the dog off I had posed concerned that Hali had a tendency of not eating when I was not around as well as being skittish due to an injury (gator attack) and that she will bite when scared.. it is my assertion that this either scared the tech or Hali nipped her and then the tech neglected her subsequently. Of course when I asked about this I was told that absolutely nothing happened and that she was a delight, I was so happy to pick up my dog and head to New York that between my excitement and the dogs rather thick fur I did not even notice the severity of the weight loss until we were on the road. This is of course when I also noticed the continual snotting and coughing. I'm very sad that this happened as I had much respect for this institution with many years of happiness service specifically did the way that they took care of her after her alligator attack but of course this is a separate issue. The only recommendation I can make is that I would not kennel any animal here for an extended period of time. Obviously Hali could not get cared for until we drove the 1200 miles to New York and made her an appointment at her N.Y. vet. After I brought the dog to the vet in New York and kennel cough was confirmed I did call Aloma Yancey and speak to them about this because I wanted to know how this could possibly happen at a veterinarian's office that which she is supposed to be under supervision. I was informed that kenneling and veterinary services are separate and that there would be no cause to give the dog any examination as she was presenting no symptoms which is absolute nonsense as I noticed these symptoms within an hour of picking her up. This I find highly neglectful I only wish that I had taken the time to write this review a little sooner. I expect their Emergency Services are still acceptable but I find their kennel conditions appalling.Thanks for almost killing my best friend and potentially infecting the 2 other dogs she was in contact with before I could get her proper care in the New York. Horrible experience. Took our very ill dog to this hospital Christmas Eve. Was told he had several issues and needed further tests before they could administer anything for comfort. Our dog was howling in pain. Was told probably had congestive heart failure, elevated liver enzymes and could be metastatic cancer. Unfortunately the X-ray machine was not working or the air conditioner . Was told to go to lake Underhill Hospital. Seriously ????? Transfer a dying dog in pain to another hospital to sit and wait  all without pain medication...... no thanks. We were told  without a diagnosis, no meds. I even questioned palliative care, allowing us to just make him comfortable. Still no medicine all because of an X-ray. I hope this doctor reads this and is happy my dog suffered all night and died Christmas Day. We had to have him put down and even the other hospital couldn't believe he was allowed to suffer this way. It was inhumane and cruel. I pray this never happens to another animal!!!!!!! Read Less

My poor beagles who have separation anxiety went in for boarding and I clearly mentioned they belong in one cage (as they always are - my 5th time using them for boarding). I was told they at some point put them in separate cages because the employees wanted to. I then picked up my poor beagle pup and his nose is all tore up and bleeding from trying to get into the kennel with my other beagle (where he belonged).They then tried charging me for 2 kennels instead in which I said I'll pay for one and consider if I will ever come back again.They are never sure what price to charge -- everyone says a different rate. We love Jancy Animal Hospital! Not only are they super close to us, but the staff is very caring, helpful and sincere. We take all of our animals there. Their hours are amazing and very accommodating. Recently, our dog, Gadget broke his leg jumping into our SUV. We thought we were going to have to spend a fortune with the X-Rays, splints, casts and possibly surgery, but we're pleasantly surprised (and relieved) when we received the bill. The Dr.'s are straight forward and won't recommend anything that isn't necessary and will help you to the best of their ability. With all of the interactions, neuters, exams, checkups etc we've had at Jancy, I don't think we'll go anywhere else. Our dog Gadget also found his new girlfriend Elizabeth there. Elizabeth is part of the staff and has an amazing personality and will genuinely love your pet to death! I couldn't recommend this place more. You know, this place has some pretty bad reviews. Fortunately, all of the bad reviews come from people that have like, five or less reviews total. Some people just make accounts to complain. No business can satisfy 100% of the people, but those dissatisfied people are way more likely to make a Yelp account a gripe than a satisfied person is to make an account to sing praise. I have been coming to Aloma Jancy for the whole two-and-a-half years of my kitties' lives, and they have been wonderful for every single visit I have ever had. I've recently just enrolled in their Very Important Pet (VIP) program, so, since I'm a responsible pet owner, and get my kitties their yearly boosters, for $50 more per kitty, I get free exams all year long. They offer boarding services and grooming services for the cheap. Sure, it's not the Ritz, but I don't make Rtiz money, and all the techs and vets treat my kitties with love and compassion. They always look through their charts to see what's been going on in past visits. Not even real physicians do that for their human patients. The only thing I could complain about is the prolonged time it sometimes takes to be seen, but keep this in mind, this place is first and foremost an animal hospital, so pet emergencies take precedence over normal appointments, and I'm a-ok with that. I called Aloma Jancy for my blocked male cat. Rather than have me bring him in right away, as I later found to be common Vet practice for this life-and-death issue (bladder could rupture any moment), I had to wait 5 hours for an open appointment. Once my cat was seen, they determined he needed catheterization, which I approved. $600 and 48 hours later, they released my cat late in the evening. Once home, I noticed my cat was still blocked. I called AJ as soon as I realized this. Rather than getting a 'bring him in right away', I was informed the next available appointment was 4 hours out.Needless to say, I called a different vet who did say 'bring him right in - we will work him in to our schedule'. This vet stated that he was indeed still blocked and asked what the previous vet's x-ray results were since this is a standard test for this type of issue. Aloma Jancy did not x-ray my cat so I had no results to provide. The new vet found numerous stones in his bladder which, unless removed, would cause blockage again (as we already found out).The good news is my cat survived the inadequate care from Aloma Jancy and is now receiving the treatment (surgery) he requires. The bad news is that I was taken for $600 by these guys.Very disappointed in Aloma Jancy as I WAS a client for 20 years. Obviously, I will never go back after this episode. Read Less

Took my Pug (Pegusus ) there for over a year for seizures. Dr.Phillip to me is a poor excuse for a Veterinarian. Overdosed him.Wanted another option from another Dr there and he also said that the dosage was to high.On top of that Pegusus had tumors in both eyes which he was supposed to have been given him a full looking over.They are the worst place I have ever experienced. We have had 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a misbegotten turtle in the past 14 years and have received excellent service. While none of our animals have been prone to illness, we have had some emergencies. When the beagle we were fostering climbed a fence and got hit by a car at 10 pm on a Saturday, they responded quickly. We could not afford the surgery to fix her broken leg and were opting to have her leg amputated instead. The vet ended up doing the surgery pro bono and our beagle is now running the mountains with her new owner with only a slight limp 7 yrs later. The prices are not cheap but they are on par with every other vet we have encountered. There will always be those who have bad experiences and sometimes our pets cannot be saved, I have nothing but good things to say about Aloma jancey. Read Less

I would rate them as a one star if I could. I visited this vet tonight and my experience was AWFUL. Both the vet tech and the vet walked in together and neither of them said "hi" or any proper greeting. The first thing the vet said was, "put the puppy on the table". He did his exam and was extremely quick. He was in and out of the room within a few minutes. Most of the visit was just trying to PERSUADE me to buy heart worm prevention, neuter him, and purchase many other products. It was one thing after another. He was very rude talking to me and had more of a smart a** attitude. He even rolled his eyes a few times in our conversation. After the exam was done, I went to pay and the entire bill was messed up. They were trying to charge me for extra things that were not mentioned to me in the exam room and higher fees for some things. I asked for her to breakdown the bill so I can see why it came up to so much. She seemed very irritated that she had to do that and when she was going over the breakdown, I simply asked her what something was for and she gave me some script explanation. I told her I did not need that and again seemed irritated that she had to take it off my bill. She said my "recheck" exam fee was $39. I told her I called before I came and someone else told me $25. She asked another employee and they also agreed that recheck exam fees are $25 so she changed that off the bill as well. I strongly do not recommend going to this animal hospital. Read Less

Worst place ever. We got our dog through their adoption program. Our dog got fixed the day before we got him. Ever since then it's been problem after problem. The staff doesn't keep everyone else updated on things, no one reads the charts, one of the ladies who works mornings answering the phones is extremely rude! In the three weeks we've had our dog, we've gone there 7 times. ( I kept giving them chances they didn't deserve)The doctors told me multiple times that they don't do insicisons like my dog had but yet Dr.alex( who I was told weeks later) only works there once a week and one of the doctors said "I don't even think he works here,really." Did the insicison that way. The doctors are not fully committed to their paitents. I had one doctor take my dog back to examine him and he came back saying he put a staple in him...Without telling me first! I was appalled! Then, they prescribed him meds and told me to go to a pharmacy and fill it. I had it filled and the lady said the total was 3000$!! When I called to ask the vet about it, he said he couldn't help and to wait till tomorrow and call them back. Unbelievable experience with this vet office! Do NOT waste your time here! Tonight my dog was attacked by another dog. I called based on good feedback in a fb group i am in. They told me to come in even though i didnt have an appointment and they would take care of my baby asap. I drove there and we were taken back and immediately greeted by a doctor. They examined the wounds on my dog and truly cared to make certain he was okay. It was very reasonably priced and all of the staff was friendly. This was the absolute WORST experience I've ever had at a vets office. I took my puppy in for the "free" exam after noticing she was lethargic and had shallow breathing. From the second I walked in, I knew it was going to be a s***show. It was extremely dirty, and did not seem up kept whatsoever. Upon waiting for the vet, I expressed my concerns to the vet tech, in which he wrote nothing down to share with the vet. When the vet walked in, he looked dirty, and possibly on something. He listened to her breathing, felt her stomach and checked her mouth and told me she looked super healthy. He was in the room for maybe all of 5 minutes, then left. Pissed at this point, I told the vet tech he needed to check her temperate because she was warm (I'm not a vet and I could tell her body was radiating heat). He took her temperature upon my request and told me he'd be right back. Coming back in, with a bottle of medication, he told me it was probably just an upper respiratory infection and this medication would cure it.Shortly after returning home that night, I ended up at the emergency vet with her, only to find out she had severe pneumonia and most likely would not have made it if this had not been treated within a few days. My pup is now healthy thanks to a different vets office that actually knew what they were doing.Needless to say, Jancy is the worst vets office, and I highly recommend steering very, very far from it. She was supposed to get pain medicine after declawing the cat, but they gave her DOG medicine for a CAT and gave her the wrong information about dosage and administration. Aloma Jancy is by far the best that I have ever been to. And I have hopped around a lot. I take my dog Rowan there. They have a package that you can get where it allows you to come in unlimited amount of times for a year and the exam fee for each visit is covered and the shops are included. Anyways, I am extremely hypochondriac about my dog and they always take the time to address every single concern I have in depth. Most vets just threw my concerns to the side they are very personable and are very concerned with patient satisfaction and the health of the pets. Great service! Read Less

We needed a place to bring our kitty for the dermatitis on his back and we found this place and decided to try it because it has awesome hours for working people. We had been wondering if they'd be really expensive because of that, but to our surprise they weren't! When I called to ask questions the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Later when we brought in Samhain, she and the vet were wonderful with him even though he was a little scared and they treated him really well. He's already feeling better today and seemed to sleep well last night for the first time in a while. I would definitely go back and would recommend this place to all my friends. While trying to trim my chorkie's nails, for the first time EVER, I nicked the quick and her nail started to bleed. I didn't have the proper stuff to stop the bleeding and (to me) it looked bad. It was around 7 pm on Saturday and this place was the closest emergency hours vet we could find.  They saw us right away and the techs started working on cleaning her up and getting the bleeding stopped. Fortunately, it wasn't as bad as it looked but since she'd just had her bath, the blood spread. The staff was calm and professional even though I, on the other hand, was a total wreck. They applied quik-stop and we all waited together to be sure the bleeding had stopped and that there was no crack in the nail, etc. They were so kind and, since she didn't need anything else, there wasn't even a charge for seeing us. I found a dog was calling all the local vets with description and my info. Called this vet they said unless I had a flyer they weren't interested. Thats some response from an animal hospital. All the other vets were happy to take the info. I wouldn't let them touch my animals with a 10 ft pole. However on a good note the dog's owner was found and reunited. Read Less

Finally, we've found a wonderful, caring, reasonable veterinarian with great hours and even greater people who work there!   We had an emergency with our dog and were panicking and someone thankfully recommended Aloma Jancy to us and we have been nothing but pleased with them!  They are very reasonable in their charges and their hours and help are wonderful.  We will never go to another vet again! DON'T BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!  This animal clinic messed up my dogs eye and refused to be accountable for it.  What was supposed to be a routine $150 dental cleaning costed us over $1000 to fix!!!  When we asked them to please help us cover some of the cost, they insisted that this had nothing to do with the dental cleaning!  Our poor little guy has been through so much, and has now lost an eye.  We have been through hell with AJAH, and will never bring our pets to them again. This place is about as filthy as it gets...even for Seminole County. The main vet is missing some fingers and doesn't seem to be sober or is just as wacky as can be. Horrible experience. I got a new puppy and made an appt for 8:15am. I confirmed twice with the receptionist that it was 8:15am. I showed up and no one even showed up til 8:25am. At that point they tell me the appt is at 8:15PM ! And no Dr til 10am around. You just lost my business! Read Less

After holding to have to ask a vet tech a simple question about cat pregnancy, then hanging up and calling back asking if the receptionist had forgotten possibly about me by accident, I was told, oh no he was just busy so that's why you were having to wait so long. I then asked, ""could you not of possibly came back on the line and simply told me that instead of just leaving me sitting there waiting"" when she replied, oh look he's ready now, then just automatically transferred my call, which I in return- simply hung up! I had a horrendous experience with this vet a while back - they ended up malpracticing and killing my cat. They then attempted to cover up their mistakes, claiming a necropsy could not be performed because they had frozen the cat's body. This was a flat out LIE which was exposed when I took the cat to another vet who did a necropsy no problem. This vet found no reasonable cause for death during PRE-OP, the surgery had not even begun. The office then refused to send me any paperwork about what happened besides Dr. Murray's horribly sloppy, handwritten notes which were basically illegible. Multiple requests for typed up medical notes were ignored, until one day Dr. Murray got on the phone to scream at me about daring to think they did something wrong. I ended up filing a complaint with the Dept. of Business Regulation and they so did many other people - 13 complaints were being reviewed when I last inquired. This led to Dr. Murray losing his license (again) and he was featured on CF News 13 where several others testified to losing animals to him, and to his serious drug problems. I took my dog in to get x-rays and they wouldn't give my dog back till the next day. When i picked her up they said her leg was broke and put a nail through her leg to fix it..they put tape around her leg and left the wound open where they inserted it. The vet flipped out once we asked what he did to out dog. They never said they were going to do ""surgery"" on her and didn't even tell us until we picked her up. STAY AWAY! Read Less

The rescue organization we got our corgi from used this hospital so we decided to stick with them. Every time we've visited, several staff members recognize our "Sweet Pea" and give her lots of attention. The techs are really nice and fairly knowledgeable, and the doctors are professional and don't speed through your appointment. I'm sure some people have had bad experiences here, but I've never had one. I can see where if they get busy, the front room can seem a bit hectic, but I would recommend this place. Read Less

Helpful Vets My Lop bunny needed stitches and Aloma Jancy took him in at night, took great care of him, and he recuperated fast. Although he sewed the stitches sloppily, Jancy at least is close, relatively cheap, and I haven't had a problem yet. Read Less

I volunteer for a local rescue group which had an existing relationship with this particular vet.I called on a Tuesday to make an appointment for my foster who needed vaccines, microchip,a much-needed bath and tick removal and spay. I was told to bring the dog between the hours of 8-10am.When I arrived they told me they didn't have a record of my booking (although they seemed to have the microchip packet ready in a cubby with the dog's name on it) and the general atmosphere of the reception desk was one of chaos. From what I understand, the actual receptionists were out at a conference and the vet techs had taken over. I don't really think this excuses the kind of service I received. I called the vet to confirm the dog was ready for pick-up and someone who was clearly in the middle of eating lunch answered the phone.The dog only received vaccines and they conveniently forgot to administer the microchip until I reminded them. They also didn't have a chance to input the vaccine information into their system and assumed I would actually leave the vet without the appropriate paperwork or rabies tag. There was also some confusion concerning the Heartguard medication the dog was supposed to have received (since the dog was heartworm positive) and they were supposed to ask the Dr. for permission to administer Heartguard but they again "didn't have the chance" and the Dr. had left for the day.They claimed to not have time to bathe the dog and the vet tech actually had the nerve to tell me "She has a lot of ticks, you might want to get rid of those" as if he was being helpful. Aloma Jancy is just fantastic! My 10-month-old puppy had what looked to be an eye infection, and I was very worried about him when I walked in their doors. The staff was patient, friendly and well-versed in dealing with both animals AND their humans - Tara at the front desk was practically an angel! The vet, ""Dr. D,"" was very knowledgeable and thorough, and took the time to really listen to me and answer all my questions. His love for animals was apparent in his warmth toward my puppy! I could trust that my l'il boy was in capable hands. I couldn't believe how helpful everyone was from beginning to end, from handling my frantic questions on the way in to considering my financial situation on the way out, and everything in between. And, as if all that weren't enough, I'm thrilled to have an opportunity to share this story of the staff's pure awesomeness: I got in my car and gave my puppy his pill right away...and he promptly spit it out, sending it rolling into the no-man's-land under my driver's seat! I went back inside to ask for a flashlight to find it, but I got more than that - Tara whipped out her iPhone with its super-bright light, and she and her co-worker (I wish I remembered his name - he was great too!!) came outside to help me look! And then, when none of us could find it and I didn't think they could get any more amazing...they replaced the pill! So we first walk in the door and are greeted right away, the front desk was not the problem. after about 20 minutes of waiting the doctor comes out and takes us and our dog back to one of the rooms. our dog had a raw spot on him leg and wondered if it was a hot spot or a sting from a jelly fish (we had been to the ocean) The doctor after looking at the spot for about 10 seconds pulled out a book that looked like it had been made in the 80's and got all of his info out of there. Claiming that it was this kind of infection and that my dog need 3 different types of pills, 2 creams, a powder, and a shot.(not to mention the shaving fee and bio-hazard fee) so for what we found out to be just a ""skinned"" leg the doctor wanted to charge us $350.00. my wife and I were not exactly expecting to be charged so much money and ask the tech if we needed absolutely everything on the list. he said that really all we need was 2 of the pills and the rest were ""just in case"" items. so this guy wanted to charge us $250 more than what we really needed, And I think it is because my wife and I are younger. Another thing that was very strange about this guy (the doctor) was he kept taking to us about how 15 yrs ago he wanted to start doing ""Animal Piercings"" after he saw that my wife and i both had our lips pierced and maybe it was time to start campaigning for this idea again see as how many people have it done now-a-days. I have been going to Dr. Murray for a few years now and I can't believe anyone who really has been there would say anything but wonderful things about him. I think it is funny that someone said the hospital used to be a trailer because it never was. It used to be much smaller, but never a trailer. You are obviously thinking of somewhere else. And not only that but the hospital is so nice and always VERY clean! I had my dog in to be spayed a couple of weeks ago and her surgery got bumped back a couple of hours as well, but it was because they had FIVE emergencies they were treating! I completely understood why she didn't get done on the normal schedule! Anyone who doesn't should be ashamed! Also, I just happened to be driving home from work while she was in there for surgery and I saw them walking her outside. It sure did put my mind at ease knowing that she was being taken such good care of! My sister is a veterinarian in Minnesota and I had to ask her if it was true that a vaccine would kill a cat because of it's breed and she laughed and laughed. She said that was not possible! You people need to get your facts straight before coming on here and publicly slandering an awesome hospital with an awesome doctor who has helped countless animals! Read Less

My husband has been taking his dog here for years.. when it was a trailer. I have always noticed that the place is dirty.. and usually has urine somewhere that hasnt been cleaned up. The exam tables are covered in fur from the last dog. Today was the last time they will ever see one of my pets. I took my dog to get neutered today, dropped him off at 9:30 am. They said to call at 4pm to see if he is ready or not. I called at 4pm, not even looked at yet... but he was next in line and to try back at 5pm. So at 5:30 they told me he is next in line and to try at 7pm. Okay 7:30 rolls around and I called.. nobody answered... called again... still not seen yet. Keep in mind that my dog hasnt ate since 8pm the day before per their request. So I asked if I should reschedule? No, we'll get to him soon was their response. I said ok, call me when he is ready. Two hours later I called them, and still he hadnt been seen. So 12 hours of sitting in a crate, which i doubt they walked him either, and no food in 24 hours. So I went to get him. The girl at the front desk was helping another couple and didnt even acknowledge me standing there for about 10 minutes. Finally, i got my dog.. no apologies were given. I understand they work with a lot of emergency situations and that pushes back appointments... but if you havent even seen a dog thats been there for 12 hours, call the owner to come get him! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Two thumbs down in my book. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, they will be missing out on a lot of business. Read Less

I doubt that I will have enough space here to express my awful experience. I took my 12 week Catahoula mix to Aloma Jancy to be treated for Parvo. He was very very ill with severe vomiting/diarrhea. He was hospitalized in some of the worst conditions I have EVER seen. The building reeked of animal excrement and it was thoroughly disorganized from top to bottom. The worst part was, I NEVER met or even saw the vet. I only worked with the vet techs who seemed to be short and annoyed that I had so many questions. After losing 2lbs and not having any weight to lose he was released. He was only doing marginally better. Still lethargic with irregular eating/drinking habits. For lack of a better explanation, NEVER BRING ANY ANIMAL TO THIS FACILITY. My dog Louie was rechecked by them 7 days after being released. He showed little improvement. With the improper care/diagnosis of the insincere doctor on staff he has since been put to sleep. RIP Louie, we love and miss you. Read Less

I have to admit that the main reason I started going to Aloma Jancy was their prices.  I had just bought my second dog, and you all know that when you first get a puppy it can be quite expensive to get all their initial shots and check-ups.  Well Aloma Jancy offered all these services at a HUGE reduction from the normal local vets.  I couldn't pass it up.They used to be located in a really crappy and old building.  I was not thrilled about the location, but the staff and doctor's seemed kinda nice so I overlooked the problems.  The good news is that Aloma Jancy just opened a brand new building and the old cruddy one is no more!  The office has moved to a new state-of-the-art office, built at the same location as the old office.  It's huge and clean!They offer 24-hour Emergency Service and will even take appointments at all hours of the night.  One time they saw me after 9pm, because that was the first chance I had to make it in.  You cannot beat the convenience.  They are open over the weekend also and have a mobile vaccine clinic that travels around the area on Saturdays.  They offer boarding, grooming and surgery at very affordable prices.This is a great place to go if you have any type of pet - dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, reptiles and even "pocket pets" - according to their website.  I'm not sure what a pocket pet is... but hell, if you have it they'll see it too!I know that you don't want to sacrifice service, quality and safety just for price - but I don't think that will be an issue at Aloma Jancy.  Dr. Murray truly cares about animals and you will not be disappointed.
