Our kids received their rabbits as a Christmas gift. They were roughly about 8 weeks old when we got them. February 7, 2019 we took the rabbits to Broadway Animal Hospital in Oviedo and saw Dr. Viz. We came to have our rabbits checked out as they were new to us and wanted to make sure they were in good health and confirm their genders. Rabbit 1 is a bit darker and aggressive. Rabbit 2 is lighter in color and loves to be cuddled. We were told they were New Zealand rabbits and both in good health. We were told that Rabbit 1 was a male and Rabbit 2 was a female. I made an appointment for the next morning to bring Rabbit 1 in to be neutered. I came back by after work to pick Rabbit 1 up and Dr. Viz explained that the rabbit had already been neutered and he didn't need to perform the procedure. I was confused as to how he could have already been neutered because the lady we got the rabbits from was the only person to have possession of the rabbits and had not performed any procedures on them as they were still so young. At first the office tried to charge me for the procedure but after questioning it I left and didn't pay anything. Didn't seem fair that I would pay for something that wasn't done and should have been realized the day before when I brought them in to be evaluated. Since that appointment we kept the rabbits together in a nice two-story hutch since we were told that the male had been neutered. Fast forward to May 16. I went out to feed the rabbits and to my surprise I found babies, 6 of them! I immediately took the male rabbit (rabbit 1) out of the hutch so we wouldn't have any more babies. After 3 days it appeared rabbit 2 (female) wasn't caring for the babies as they were not growing and by day 4 most had died. I didn't think much of it because I read that first time moms don't often know what to do. We took the 3 remaining babies to a second chance sanctuary place. 2 later died and 1 survived by feeding of a cat and squirrel. Since then I have continued to keep the two rabbits separated so we wouldn't have anymore babies. Now fast forward to June 16. We were leaving on vacation and were packing up the rabbits to bring to a family member to care for while we were gone. I found fur in the male cage similar to what I found last month when we had babies. I was confused by this as it was the male's cage. My husband search for possible babies and there were none. I again didn't think much and just thought he was shedding and I was crazy for even looking for babies because he was a male and the two had been separated since the last litter. Well on June 17 the "male" (according to Dr. Viz) rabbit, rabbit 1, gave birth to 3 babies. We have since confirmed their sexes again and Rabbit 1 is a female and rabbit 2 is a male. Dr. Viz not only screwed up theirs sexes but was also completely wrong about having been neutered. Because of this 5 baby bunnies died because we took their mom out of their cage thinking it was the male and we were protecting them (because I also read the males will sometimes eat them). Do not bring your rabbits to Dr. Viz. I would caution you on bringing any animal to this hospital.

I used Broadway animal hospital several years ago when I lived in Oviedo. I now live in Debary and I have now adopted another dog. I can not find an honest vet here in Debary so I brought my dog BO, back to DR V. at Broadway animal hospital. Dr V is so knowledgeable and honest and so kind to the animals. His prices are excellent. I will never go anywhere again. My whole family goes out of their way to bring their pets there.

The doctor and the staff there were great with me I brought in a little Chihuahua 3 day old puppy it was close to death and they helped me keep him alive for a few days longer but I've always brought all three of my animals in and he's done such a great job and so has the staff I would recommend Broadway Animal Hospital to everyone

NOTE: The people who give these charlatans glowing reviews either work for them or are shilling for them. Events: It was horrible! The first I noticed is that this vet supports the animal circuses! This vet is not a compassionate person at all. He actually gives money to animal circuses so they can further exploit our fellow creatures and abuse them every day for years and years! They are also racists. They thought I was going to stiff them because I am poor and not white. They treated me like a thief and were going to call the police because they would not accept my card and they refused to work with me. My card was good and they know it! I was going to go home to get another one and take my cat home and come back with another card, but oh no, not to be. I gave them a what for when I came back and vowed to not return. Would I have stiffed them? Of course not I am moral and decent person and have excellent credit.

After 20+ years with this vet and the recent death of my 4 yr old dog from complications with an ear infection aggravated from this facilities lack of concern, care and improper treatment and told to find a new Dr. my dog was left by them to suffer and die! Only thing this vet cares about is the money you are bringing in to them and if there is anything that you complain about they will slam the door in your face leaving you left with BIGGER problems then when you arrived! If you are currently using this vet find a new one before they cause you more problems to get deeper in your pocket! All they want is your $ and have no concerns or cares for your pets health or needs! This was once a fine vet, but in most recent years with owners lack of involvement in the facility it has run amuck and left in the hands of his insubordinate, unqualified staff to manage!! If you are thinking of trying this vet run away as fast as you can and don't look back! I took my Jack Russel to Broadway Animal Hospital, and my dog was given too high of a dosage of medications. The problem should have been resolved in one week, but after many tests that the vet insisted had to be done, and losing one of the reports, everything came back negative. This doctor seems to push for as many tests as he can possibly get away with, and I believe they may be getting a percentage of what they charge their customers. I know that my bill was over $2,000.00, and half of the tests weren't even necessary. Besides this the vet recommended a biopsy, which if I had agreed to my dog could have died during this procedure. I would never recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Only go to this clinic if your name is John D.Rockefeller.

I have been a client of Broadway Animal Hospital for many years. This March, my dog was lethargic and he couldn't walk. I called up in a panic and they would not take him. I told them that it was an emergency and explained the situation. He couldn't even walk, I had to carry him everywhere. They told me the next appointment was in 3 days. THREE DAYS!! I put the phone down and called a vet clinic just a mile down the road. They took him right away. Come to find out, he dislocated his hip somehow (he is always jumping and running). He had to be put on painkillers and other meds for 2 weeks. Now, I just called Broadway to get my dog a rabies shot because he is due. They even sent me a card to remind me. I can't get an appointment till next Thursday, that is 7 days from now! Unbelievable! Is this vet really that popular. Is he really THAT GOOD. In my opinion he is not. I will no longer go to this clinic any longer. The vet clinic down the road took my appointment right away. NO more.

I was going to pay my expensive bill but they could not process my credit card even though every other business in the country can do so. The receptionist threatened to call the police on me because I was trying to work out a way to pay w/o having to leave my cat there. They kept my cat hostage. How can they be trusted if they do not trust us??? They have my information. My cat still has breathing problems. I will need to see another vet. The receptionist clearly has a bias because I guess she saw brown, and drives an old car, must be a deadbeat. I have never skipped out on a bill. THIS place is the pits!

Used to go here for years but I have had enough . They nickel and dime you for everything and are rude, I had the vet show up to give my dog her shots and her seemed drunk and when he inserted the thermometer he just shoved it in so hard my dog cried. Its uncalled for. They are very rude when I called another time to question my bill .It was a follow up and I was being charged an office visit when I never used to. I recommend staying away. There are too many vets in the area to tolerate this.

Its uncalled for. They are very rude when I called another time to question my bill .It was a follow up and I was being charged an office visit when I never used to. I recommend staying away. Highly disappointed with this vet. Our 9 year old Maine Coone was having problems breathing and not eating. We took him to this vet since Town and Country couldn't see him promptly. He had lost over 3 lbs since his last visit, it is very unlike him to lose weight. My mom is a nurse and heard fluid in his lungs but the vet said that his lungs were clear. My mom asked him about a mass on his chest or if we should do bloodwork and the vet assured us he was probably just stressed or may have jumped down/up incorrectly and that he was too young to worry about other things (cancer, ect)...The vet said he'll be fine, but gave us a $45 RX for painpills.His breathing problems got a little better but he still was not normal or eating or drinking as well as he should, and could not lay on his side. After 2 weeks it was not better. We took him to a different vet, they saw his breathing and immediately did a chest X ray. He has fluids in his lungs and his heart beat was irregular. We then did a echocardiogram and found out he has Right atrial and ventricular Cardiomyopathy and a mediastinal mass (we are still waiting on biopsy reports). He has to be on Lasix (heart medication) for the rest of his life. This could have been discovered 2 weeks ago and my cat could have suffered less if the vet at Broadway did his job. It's not about the money, you can not put a value on a family member. But the amount of money that we have spent at this new vet has been worth every penny, but the $200 we spent at broadway was a waste. Will not go back.UPDATE: A few weeks ago we got the biopsy reports back. Our poor cat had lymphoma and there was nothing we could do. A few days later he became so ill we had to help him cross the Rainbow bridge. I'm not saying that an earlier detection could have saved his life, but my cat had CANCER and a HEART DISEASE and this vet did nothing but say he was fine.

Over the years Dr. Viz has seen many of our dogs and cats. He always takes time with us and explains all of the issues and solutions available. He is great with even difficult animals and shows a great amount of kindness. Some vets seem to order lots of expensive tests for every visit while Dr. Viz seems to rely more on physical exams and only orders necessary tests when they are really needed.

Dr Viz has been our vet for fifteen years and I have never had a more caring man take care of our dogs. He is never in a rush and answers all our questions. Over the years when we sadly have had to say goodbye to a dog, he came to our house each time and was very respectful and comforting, taking care of everything. I will never go to any other vet than Dr Viz. If you love your pet, you will not find a better vet than him.

Dr. Viz, saved Targe's life. We had gone to many vets in the past but Dr Viz is by far the best Vet we have ever been too He loves each pet. When it came time to put our 16 year old dog Pirate down even he cried. But Targe had an unusual illness; one intestine went inside the other. He had to have emergency surgery as a result Dr. Viz came in on a Sunday opened his office called in a nurse and saved my dogs life. I have so many other stories but I would be here forever. You want the best doctor for your pet in Central Florida see Dr. Vizcarrdo

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET! After 20+ years with this vet and the recent death of my 4 yr old dog from complications with an ear infection aggravated from this facilities lack of concern, care and improper treatment and told to find a new Dr. my dog was left by them to suffer and die! Only thing this vet cares about is the money you are bringing in to them and if there is anything that you complain about they will slam the door in your face leaving you left with BIGGER problems then when you arrived! If you are currently using this vet find a new one before they cause you more problems to get deeper in your pocket! All they want is your $ and have no concerns or cares for your pets health or needs! This was once a fine vet, but in most recent years with owners lack of involvement in the facility it has run amuck and left in the hands of his insubordinate, unqualified staff to manage!! If you are thinking of trying this vet run away as fast as you can and don't look back! THIS IS A STRONG WARNING TO ALL WHO USE OR THINKING OF USING THIS VET TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR PETS MEDICAL NEEDS TO STAY AWAY AND FIND AN ALTERNATE VETERINARY CLINIC BEFORE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS TO YOUR BELOVED PET AND THEY SHUT THE DOOR IN YOUR FACE AND LET YOUR PET SUFFER AND DIE LIKE THEY DID MINE!!!!

I took my Jack Russel to Broadway Animal Hospital, and my dog was given too high of a dosage of medications. The problem should have been resolved in one week, but after many tests that the vet insisted had to be done, and losing one of the reports, everything came back negative. This doctor seems to push for as many tests as he can possibly get away with, and I believe they may be getting a percentage of what they charge their customers. I know that my bill was over $2,000.00, and half of the tests weren't even necessary. Besides this the vet recommended a biopsy, which if I had agreed to my dog could have died during this procedure. I would never recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Only go to this clinic if your name is John D.Rockefeller.

I have been a client of Broadway Animal Hospital for many years. This March, my dog was lethargic and he couldn't walk. I called up in a panic and they would not take him. I told them that it was an emergency and explained the situation. He couldn't even walk, I had to carry him everywhere. They told me the next appointment was in 3 days. THREE DAYS!! I put the phone down and called a vet clinic just a mile down the road. They took him right away. Come to find out, he dislocated his hip somehow (he is always jumping and running). He had to be put on painkillers and other meds for 2 weeks. Now, I just called Broadway to get my dog a rabies shot because he is due. They even sent me a card to remind me. I can't get an appointment till next Thursday, that is 7 days from now! Unbelievable! Is this vet really that popular. Is he really THAT GOOD. In my opinion he is not. I will no longer go to this clinic any longer. The vet clinic down the road took my appointment right away. NO more.

I was going to pay my expensive bill but they could not process my credit card even though every other business in the country can do so. The receptionist threatened to call the police on me because I was trying to work out a way to pay w/o having to leave my cat there. They kept my cat hostage. How can they be trusted if they do not trust us??? They have my information. My cat still has breathing problems. I will need to see another vet. The receptionist clearly has a bias because I guess she saw brown, and drives an old car, must be a deadbeat. I have never skipped out on a bill. THIS place is the pits!

Used to go here for years but I have had enough . They nickel and dime you for everything and are rude, I had the vet show up to give my dog her shots and her seemed drunk and when he inserted the thermometer he just shoved it in so hard my dog cried. Its uncalled for. They are very rude when I called another time to question my bill .It was a follow up and I was being charged an office visit when I never used to. I recommend staying away. There are too many vets in the area to tolerate this.

They nickel and dime you for everything and are rude, I had the vet show up to give my dog her shots and her seemed drunk and when he inserted the thermometer he just shoved it in so hard my dog cried. Its uncalled for. They are very rude when I called another time to question my bill .It was a follow up and I was being charged an office visit when I never used to. I recommend staying away. There are too many vets in the area to tolerate this.

Highly disappointed with this vet. Our 9 year old Maine Coone was having problems breathing and not eating. We took him to this vet since Town and Country couldn't see him promptly. He had lost over 3 lbs since his last visit, it is very unlike him to lose weight. My mom is a nurse and heard fluid in his lungs but the vet said that his lungs were clear. My mom asked him about a mass on his chest or if we should do bloodwork and the vet assured us he was probably just stressed or may have jumped down/up incorrectly and that he was too young to worry about other things (cancer, ect)...The vet said he'll be fine, but gave us a $45 RX for painpills.His breathing problems got a little better but he still was not normal or eating or drinking as well as he should, and could not lay on his side. After 2 weeks it was not better. We took him to a different vet, they saw his breathing and immediately did a chest X ray. He has fluids in his lungs and his heart beat was irregular. We then did a echocardiogram and found out he has Right atrial and ventricular Cardiomyopathy and a mediastinal mass (we are still waiting on biopsy reports). He has to be on Lasix (heart medication) for the rest of his life. This could have been discovered 2 weeks ago and my cat could have suffered less if the vet at Broadway did his job. It's not about the money, you can not put a value on a family member. But the amount of money that we have spent at this new vet has been worth every penny, but the $200 we spent at broadway was a waste. Will not go back.UPDATE: A few weeks ago we got the biopsy reports back. Our poor cat had lymphoma and there was nothing we could do. A few days later he became so ill we had to help him cross the Rainbow bridge. I'm not saying that an earlier detection could have saved his life, but my cat had CANCER and a HEART DISEASE and this vet did nothing but say he was fine.

Over the years Dr. Viz has seen many of our dogs and cats. He always takes time with us and explains all of the issues and solutions available. He is great with even difficult animals and shows a great amount of kindness. Some vets seem to order lots of expensive tests for every visit while Dr. Viz seems to rely more on physical exams and only orders necessary tests when they are really needed.

Dr Viz has been our vet for fifteen years and I have never had a more caring man take care of our dogs. He is never in a rush and answers all our questions. Over the years when we sadly have had to say goodbye to a dog, he came to our house each time and was very respectful and comforting, taking care of everything. I will never go to any other vet than Dr Viz. If you love your pet, you will not find a better vet than him.

Dr. Viz, saved Targe's life. We had gone to many vets in the past but Dr Viz is by far the best Vet we have ever been too He loves each pet. When it came time to put our 16 year old dog Pirate down even he cried. But Targe had an unusual illness; one intestine went inside the other. He had to have emergency surgery as a result Dr. Viz came in on a Sunday opened his office called in a nurse and saved my dogs life. I have so many other stories but I would be here forever.
