They have a small family feel and are considerate of how stressful a visit can be. They are direct and honest about treatment without being crass. My animals have been going to this clinic for decades. Naturally, I was particularly fond of Lawrence Pultz, the original founder of Town 'n Country Veterinary Clinic, but I am pleased that his son Christian and his daughter, veterinarian Jennifer Pultz, have made a real effort to continue their father's practice in its same location, providing excellent care for the animal patients there. I have three Cavalier King Charles spaniels I dearly love and when I travel, I leave my dogs there for boarding. The dogs are never reluctant to go in for their stay,and seem eager to see the staffers, most of whom are old friends to the dogs. Moreover,"Dr. Jen" makes a fine effort to be thorough about her examinations of the dogs when they need medical attention or immunizations. Prices are pretty high, yet competitive for the community. They do try to give a break to owners of multiple dogs who bring them all at one time. I am hoping to get one of my dogs with a chronic heart murder on regular medications for automatic refills because I am always short of time and find it difficult to be bringing the dogs in for checkups just to get medications refilled for chronic conditions. These kids are "chips off the old block" in relation to their late veterinarian father, Dr. Larry Pultz. I am hoping they will do well continuing his practice. Read Less

Have be with this Veterinary for 12 year. Very caring veterinary, all staff are very caring mic the groomer she's very sweet older lady but does a wonderful job in bathing and grooming the dogs. .I also use this vet for my horses ,, show steers and show pigs Read Less

The veterinarian here Jennifer Pulz killed my cat!! Please don't go to this vet!!! Your animals deserve better. Even after me warning her about deaths from Covenia, she gave it to my cat with kidney disease and my cat was dead within a week, starting with paralysis, then death - a common pattern with Covenia. She does not keep up with research. I mentioned some kidney treatments and she had no idea what I was talking about. She also had never heard of the deaths from the controversial long acting antibiotic Covenia. This old lady vet needs to go back to vet school and start reading up on current treatments and issues in veterinary medicine and quit killing people's beloved pets!! We have been going to this vet for 14 years. Dr. Pultz cared more for the animals than about his paycheck. He was compassionate and professional. On our first visit there we encountered a runaway dog who had escaped just to go see his favorite vet.  He really was an animal whisperer.Last year, Dr. Pultz's daughter took over the business. She is every bit as amazing as her father was. She (along with her staff) made our senior dog's last hours the best they could be. She had us all as a family be there to say our goodbyes. She knew just what to say to my nine year old to make the pain more bearable. If you are looking for a vet who will care for your pet as though they are family, then, this is the vet for you. What a disappointment. I have been going to this vet for a few years and they have been fine. I have only met the doctor once and he was kind of grumpy but ok. Front office has always been nice until today. I was given meds about 10 days ago for my cat. Jessica at the front desk told me that the liquid and pills should both last two weeks. I started to give the liquid and realized at 1 ml 2x a day that the bottle of 15 mil wasn't going to last two weeks. I went in today and asked if I was missing something in terms of the dosage and Jessica got all frustrated and didn't understand what I was saying and pulled the chart and said well it should last! But she walked away to get another bottle and came back 10 minutes later and slammed down the box of meds. and proceeded to very rudely check me out. I must have missed something here because an apology was in order to me because I should have been given two bottles and not have to come back or else I don't know modern Math. Bizarre. There are tons of vets so I will find another more friendly one in town. So rude. Read Less
