My husband and I are caring for two rescue rabbits, and Promenade Animal Hospital have been paramount to aiding in their well being.For context, one of the rabbits was very overweight when she was dropped off at an animal rescue center (don't feed your rabbits Triscuts, Fruit Loops and bird seed, people!), and every year since she's been in our care she has dropped a few oz (that's huge for bunnies!).PAH treat them with they care and respect they deserve, and I cannot think of another place where I would possibly want to bring them. I brought my exotic pet there because she stopped eating so they gave me something that worked and everything was fine for a week but then she got worse and i brought her back we were given new meds and they said to call 3 days later to check up, i called to say she was getting worse on day three but the vets were busy and i was told id get a call back but i never did and my pet died... i get that that things happen but a year later (recently) i got a card in the mail with my dead pets name on it saying she is due for a check up! Unfriendly and unhelpful receptionists.  Not only did they mess up my appointment time (which I took time off work to go to); but they are incredibly rude and unhelpful; completely denying it was their mistake and implying that I was lying about having confirmed my appointment earlier in the day...responding with "well you didn't speak to me".  Lack of enthusiasm and hospitality. DO NOT GO TO PROMENADE ANIMAL HOSPITAL Izzy has been suffering since OCTOBER with a serious rash. She’s very uncomfortable. We had been taking her to promenade animal hospital and they kept treating her for god knows what. We have been there 15! Times in these months doing everything to make our baby better. Last visit was two weeks ago and the vet there said “ we don’t know what it is she seems to be fine must just be a allergy you own a pit bull that’s what you get.” That to me is unacceptable I don’t care if I own a pit bull or a monkey or a damn pig. You are a vet, this is your job to find out what it is. We took her to gardens animal hospital ( AMAZING PEOPLE THERE) they did a few test and my baby has Staph infection a bacterial infection and a ear infection. Tell me how the hell does a vet not catch that. 15 visit and over a 1000$ dollars later you don’t catch that !!!! This new vet treated her and my baby is almost back to normal. ! I have NEVER put anyone on blast but they I feel need to be. I called them to explain to them my frustration and how I have wasted so much money and time when my dog was SUFFERING for you to tell me you don’t know your out of options and asked if they would refund a little of the money to help with current cost now. And they said no we treated for what we thought. Which was literally one medication and they just up the dosage. I am furious. Save your money !!!!! i would give 0 stars if that was a option! Our Pomeranian Sweetie will turn 18 on May 8, 2018! She is healthy and happy doggy because we were very lucky to meet the brilliant surgeon and veterinarian Dr. Posey in Summer 2016. He extracted 24 rotten teeth and our doggy was able to eat at the evening on the same day after the surgery! The doctor really cares about our pets and does not use junky meds as other doctors that we visited before that made our dog ill for two weeks after the simple teeth cleaning.Our doggy does not have any heart issues, anemia, bad breath, poor appetite, and depression anymore after removing rotten teeth. Very pleased! I just moved back to the area and booked an appointment for my bulldog and the visit was very good. The nurse when you walk in was very welcoming and it was very clean! After meeting the doctor my dog was so happy. She was very nice and informative, I appreciate all the help they offered. My husband and I brought our rabbit, who has a chronic medical condition, to see Dr. Posey for the first time after recently moving to the area. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and they were able to instantly recommend a local pet sitter. Dr. Posey was amazing, he had an excellent bedside manner and he was extremely helpful with any questions we had. Also a sign of a good practice, he did not try to push unnecessary tests or procedures on us and he even clipped my rabbit's nails for free while we were there! In addition, it is very convenient that their practice has an online store to purchase meds/fluids at a very reasonable price and automatically request the rx from the doctor without having to bring your pet in for a visit each time. Dr. Posey has been my local vet for over 10 years he is very knowledgeable about all pet health issues but he doesn't go overboard with nonsense just to beef up the bill . I recommend him highly . I don't normally write reviews.  I'm not "that guy".  But I'll make an exception for Promenade and the people that work there.  Empathetic, friendly, extremely competent.  And that's before I met Dr. Posey who instantly reminded me of Dr. Doolittle :-).  I brought my snake in because she hadn't eaten for 3 months.  I know a good bit about snakes and reptiles and didn't think I really had to as she looked fine but I thought it the right thing to do.  I can tell you - my snake ate the next day.  A couple of little changeups suggested by the good Dr. worked.  What else to say?  Highly recommended. Our Green Cheek Conure and Bearded Dragon are patients and each time we visit ( every 6 months ) for checkups and nail/wing trimmings, we are always greeted with smiling faces and of course they love visiting with our pets. I moved from Delray to NPB and was worried I would not be able to find a vet I felt comfortable enough with to care for my dogs.Lucky for my dogs we found these guys. Staff is so accomadating and kind. I feel like I have been coming here for years.  Prices seem to be good for NPB. Every place I called office visits were super expensive and Promenade is reasonably priced. It's a warm friendly atmosphere a d both times I've been. Here I never feel rushed. Today my little girl, Phoebe, a lab-pit mix, had to have some minor surgery on her tail for small lump!!  As always, Dr.Posey was wonderful!! She came home with her cone of shame but is being very good. The care Dr. Posey and Dr. Raver have given all my pets over the years is one practice in a million!! We are talking ferrets, dogs, cats and what ever else I come along with. They are a clean, caring staff clinic that don't send you to the poor house. I worked with Dr Posey over 25 years ago so I know first hand he is knowledgeable in exotics. I have seen him with all kinds of reptiles, wild birds, farm animals, along with cats and dogs. And so life took me on a different path and years later I found him again and now I drive the distance (45 minutes) to take my reptiles to him when needed. My recent visit to Promenade Animal Hospital was a great experience. To begin with, the receptionist who answered my call was friendly and efficient. My records were at Promenade when I arrived for my appointment. There was only a brief "wait" before I was taken to an examining room and spoke with an Assistant.  My pet was handled in a gentle manner, and there was a sincere attempt to evaluate her situation. When Dr. Posey entered the room, I felt that he had been well briefed. He was caring and knowledgeable, calming and professional. I left with a clear understanding of my pet's condition and a workable plan for her recovery.  A few days later, I received a follow-up call and was elated to report that my pet was doing well. Moved to Florida last year, and brought my dog to Promenade. They are warm ,friendly and very caring. This year we added a new puppy to our family and they are very nurturing, and never make us feel as though our questions are unimportant. I also never feel rushed when the doctors are in the room. DO NOT USE this vet! I took my dog to them with a droopy eye and costant snorting/reverse sneezing. She spent 5minutes with him, gave me attitude, acted like my vet from NC was crazy for what she said it could (although that was the problem), TC me he was fine but prescribed him meds anyway and told me to call her back in a week if he wasn't better. Better from what not sure since she stated he was fine. He actually had breathed in an item that was stuck deep inside and had to be removed while under all found out by another vet who really checked him out and then a specialty vet did ct and removal. So a waste of money, time, and aggravation. My dog will never be back there again and I would suggest you DON'T visit this vet. The worst in all 4 states we have been and all the vets he has seen in his 13yrs. Read Less
