I am very pleased with the service and prices from PC Animal Medical Center. I was going to take my two Great Danes to get neutured in Stuart, but after seeing what the costs would be I went to the Humane Society and picked up two vouchers from them. They had PC Animal Medical Center on their list of vets to go to for using the vouchers. We paid a little extra for extra bloodwork and something else, but in the end we paid less for two of our Great Danes to go here instead of another place in Stuart. The other place in Stuart was going to charge us just over $600 per dog... we paid less than $600 for everything for TWO Great Danes! Very pleased with Dr. Shepherd!!

We have been taking our fur baby to Palm City Animal Medical Center for almost the last 3 years and have always been so happy with the service we have received. Our fur baby had a really bad infection in her front paw that our previous vet couldn't fix for many months. My neighbor recommended I take her to Palm City Animal Medical Center. Dr. Sentell saw us the very first time. He was so very kind to our pet as well as us. He knew exactly what was wrong with our pet and within 2 visits she was completely healed. We were beyond impressed and thankful to Dr. Sentell that we moved our furbaby's care to Palm City Animal Medical Center. The liaison manager Tom, was so graceful and gave us the tour of the beautiful facility. He has always always been so kind to us and has shown us the utmost respect. When it came time for our furbaby's shots, Dr. Sentell gave it to her. Poor thing, after she came home that night, she had a severe reaction. She was sick all night long. We had to call the emergency line and had to bring her to see Dr. Shepherd at 2:00 am. Dr. Shepherd again was so very kind to us and told us sometimes vaccines does that to dogs. He treated her really well and we had such a wonderful experience again at this animal hospital. We always bring our fur baby to Veronica for grooming and Veronica always takes such good care of her. We always do the in and out service with her and Veronica has always treated us and our fur baby with the utmost kindness and respect. For boarding our fur baby when we are away, my friend used to always watch her for us and me in turn would watch her two pups whenever she was away. Unfortunately last month, my friend moved out of state so we didn't have anyone to watch our fur baby. We had to be out of town for 8 days in March so we both thought our fur baby has been treated so well at Palm City Animal Medical Center, we will board her there. A few days before we left, we toured the facility and was really impressed. We chose to board her at the Luxury boarding which gave us access to a video camera through which we could monitor her. She stayed in the suite called Bahamas and we could tell that she was being well taken care of which we really appreciated. We got back home Monday morning, my husband went to pick her up and he said within a few minutes of being in the car she started coughing violently. It was something she had never done before we had never heard this kind of cough. When they came home, we were both very concerned so my husband called PalmCity Animal Medical Center right away. The receptionist he spoke to told him that she may have caught a respiratory infection that is going around. She told us a doctor would call us back, he did and prescribed some over the counter medication for her but our fur baby kept getting worse. Poor thing she was coughing so violently that she couldn't even hold her body up. She was literally falling on the floor. We got very concerned called the office and got her an appointment for the next day. It seemed she had caught the kennel cough during boarding. What concerned us most was no body even mentioned this to us when she was sent home. When my husband took her back to be seen by the doctor, they told him they were not going to charge him for the doctor visit but ended up charging him $89 and change for medications. We thought that was extremely ridiculous because we had just paid over $455.00 for boarding her at their hospital and she came home with a respiratory infection that she caught at their hospital while she was boarded there! It was not a matter of $89.00 but the principle behind it. I called Tom and spoke to him our situation and he told me he will speak to Jim, the office manager and would call me back the next day. I waited but no one called me back so I called for Tom again this morning and Jim came on the line. Jim was extremely abrupt and rude to me on the phone. He wanted to take no responsibility at all for what my poor fur baby was going through. He kept trying to brush me off over and over again. This was my first time dealing with Jim and if we had to deal with him before this, I do not think we would have been customers of this hospital for so long and would have ever recommended this animal hospital to all our friends and neighbors. Like I mentioned before, this this not a matter of $89.00, it is a matter of how you treat your customer when they are going through a difficult time with their pet. Jim has just left such a bad impression about Palm City Animal Medical Center that we do not ever want to go back here.So far I have to say, my experience with Palm City Animal Medical Center has always been 5 stars, but based on my conversation with Jim today and how he treated me, I am going to give it a 1 star.

Wow, I'm really surprised by the few bad reviews I'm reading. I have had the best of experiences here! There are several vets in this practice, but my crew exclusively see Dr. JP Shepherd. He saved my (then 3 year old) cat Dorian's life several years ago (after another vet practice almost killed him). My cat had severe liver damage and was dying and stopped eating. He needed a feeding tube and critical care for weeks. Dr. Shepherd got him off of years of steroids that caused insulin dependent diabetes and took the time to research my cat's symptoms and ailments and reversed all of his chronic conditions and diabetes. My cat is allergic to most proteins. He now eats kangaroo and is 100% healthy. No meds. No more diabetes. He's been great with my elderly dachshund and our fearful rescue pit bull mix adores him. We also have another cat with a God complex that hates everyone, but is happy to go there. The vet techs are great as are the front staff and the custodian is the absolute sweetest. He always has a kind word and smile. I've seen the same friendly faces there for years. My dogs don't need regular grooming, but they get nail trims and baths there without incident. The practice is certainly not the cheapest practice, but it's comparable to other practices in the area.

I took my dog there for boarding. The prices are unbelievably high but I heard good things about this place. This may not seem like a big deal but when I picked up my dog, one of the toys I had left with her was missing. The girl said they might have thrown it out and basically said they can't find it. Another girl said she'd call me the next day. No call. Again, not a big deal but after spending over $200 for 3 nights, it left a bad taste in my mouth that they lost or threw out a $20 dog toy and didn't care to make it right for the customer. So a $20 dog toy and poor customer service cost you a repeat customer.

I wish I could rate in negative stars. I made an appointment here for my dog to get groomed and they called me within 2 hours and told me my dog was too aggressive so I needed to come get her. I have never previously had a problem with my dog like this and she has never been the same again. She used to have no problem going to the vet and now she won't even let them touch her, I don't know what they did during those 2 hours but it has damaged my dog. I also went to 4 appointments where I paid for her to be checked each time when her ears were bothering her and every time they told me she needed to be muzzled or sedated. I got her sedated for $100 just to get her ears checked. Then it came time to get her yearly shots and heartworm check and they wanted $300! I called another vet and they charged $130 for all the same shots! I took her to the new vet and within 2 minutes he was looking in her ears and examining her and she not once acted the way she did when I took her here. Don't waste your money on this money hungry establishment.

My kitters was a client here for eight years before we moved out of state. They are honestly THE BEST and took the best care of my cat! They are always polite, professional, welcoming, and caring. Follow-up calls are always prompt and every question (no matter how silly) was always answered kindly. They made my vet-adverse kitty totally comfortable during every single visit. I love that they let the pets explore the exam room a bit to get comfy and settled! Boarding services are great, as well! We will miss them!

I have been taking both of my babies here for several years. I have NEVER had a bad experience with the medical aspect of treating them or with the boarding. I love that when I travel and they board that I can check on them via camera. A lot of vets are money hungry but I've never felt pressured to do anything that I felt was unnecessary just for the money aspect. The staff is very accommodating, all of them, although Lisa holds a special place in my . I plan on never changing vets, even if they are a 30 minute drive. It's well worth it knowing that my fur babies are in excellent hands.

Let me just start by - these people are so beyond money hungry ! I'm here for vacation and adopted a stray dog from humane society kill shelter here in Florida. They gave me a free visit to the Palm city Animal Medical Center and it was possible my dog I adopted still had lingering hookworms. I went in for a simple exam (free) + a fecal analysis to check if she still had hookworm. When I got her from the shelter she was vaccinated with all her shots 2/15/18 and didn't need revaccination they stated she was all set to go! (stated on her printed paperwork) until 2/2019.(besides the hookworms) I took her in for the check up on the hookworms to see if she still had them 2 weeks after. They revaccinated her again (without asking) with the same thing she got on 2/15/18 (less than a month) - da2pp-cv AND bordatella. She got these vaccines twice within not even a month. Within hours she was acting lethargic wavering, and couldn't even stand up. I brought her back immediately and they gave her what they could, but she still acted really messed up through the night. She even had an accident before I could get her back home in my car and was peeing while she walked. I'm not happy that they completely disregarded her "revaccination dates" and gave them to her within 2 weeks, trying to tell me it's OK when she's obviously not and they obviously don't know how to read! Feel very ripped off, very unpleasant first impression.

They are incredible. We first met them during a very sad time of putting our 16 year old Jack Russell down. They were so wonderful and caring. Professionalism from front to back and made this horrible experience tolerable. They followed up with us the next day and sent us an imprint of her paw that still sits on our mantle. Dr.Jolin is now our vet for our diabetic 11 year old dog. She is caring and always remembers our guy when he visits. She is always finding ways to make him more comfortable and is absolutely professional and kind. The vet techs are absolutely incredible also. Kind, caring and gentle vet.

I wouldn't even give this dump one star! I took my dog in for a check up he had a lump by his rear. After they took him in back and did a biopsy . They gave me a day to bring him back . The test revealed it was a cancer and most likely not going to be good . I had a suspicion that they were not telling me the truth. The vet was very rude and heartless. I did not go back instead Thank God I decided to get a second opinion. It turned out the lump was Not Cancerous and my dog is fine. This place since moving into their fancy new building must need money to pay for it. I don't know where the veterinarians are that use to work in their last place are because I know some of them are gone. This place is a mess they made me think my dog was going to die.

I would advise you to NOT take your dog here. We took our dog here since he wasn't acting his normal self. Knowing that our dog wasn't healthy, the vet did numerous tests costing us over $500. We were told nothing was wrong and he had a heart murmur and bronchitis so they sent us home with medication. 6 hours later our dog died. This is such an unfortunate experience and feels like we lost a family member and now we have no answers and no closure. They took our money and set us on our way. I would not recommend bringing your loved one here.

My experience has been completely different than other posters. I found the office staff to be incompetent, including the office manager. I was referred here because my foster cat required dental xray. A referral was sent here by a referring vet, photos were emailed and multiple conversations were had with staff to insure that this Dr. and this facility were the right place to handle a somewhat unusual feline dental problem.. The procedure proceeded as if they had never heard a word I or my vet said.The cat was anesthetized,no xray was taken. Molars were cleaned. THATS IT! Post procedure, the recommendation of this vet after speaking with colleagues outside the facility was you "should have an xray done"and take the cat to a specialist to figure out how to deal with this problem. After $260 nothing accomplished. Now more money for a rescue organization and subject the animal to another anesthetic that is of course without it's own risks and cost.After being in the rescue business for almost 20 years and adopting out more that 100 cats over the years and dealing the many , many vets this is the WORST experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this facility for anything but routine care. A beautiful, well equipped l facility with absolutely incompetent staff.

Palm City Animal Clinic and Dr. Paul Wolff is the absolute best vet ever!! He has taken care of our cats and dogs with love! The facility is the greatest! We boarded our puppy for several days and she was completely cared for. We had a link to a video cam in her room and we saw them feeding, playing with her and walking her. Her room was never dirty!! As long as I know (and live near), I wouldn't consider any other vet than Dr. Wolff - it's not just a profession to him, he truly cares about your animals!!

Fantastic service , Dr Wold and his assistant Sandy were fantastic, I did get a tour of the venue with Renay and met Brittany ( grooming) it was our fist time, we recently moved to the area , very kind and great service including the receptionists!

I wish I could rate in negative stars. I made an appointment here for my dog to get groomed and they called me within 2 hours and told me my dog was too aggressive so I needed to come get her. I have never previously had a problem with my dog like this and she has never been the same again. She used to have no problem going to the vet and now she won't even let them touch her, I don't know what they did during those 2 hours but it has damaged my dog. I also went to 4 appointments where I paid for her to be checked each time when her ears were bothering her and every time they told me she needed to be muzzled or sedated. I got her sedated for $100 just to get her ears checked. Then it came time to get her yearly shots and heartworm check and they wanted $300! I called another vet and they charged $130 for all the same shots! I took her to the new vet and within 2 minutes he was looking in her ears and examining her and she not once acted the way she did when I took her here. Don't waste your money on this money hungry establishment.

My kitters was a client here for eight years before we moved out of state. They are honestly THE BEST and took the best care of my cat! They are always polite, professional, welcoming, and caring. Follow-up calls are always prompt and every question (no matter how silly) was always answered kindly. They made my vet-adverse kitty totally comfortable during every single visit. I love that they let the pets explore the exam room a bit to get comfy and settled! Boarding services are great, as well! We will miss them!

I have been taking both of my babies here for several years. I have NEVER had a bad experience with the medical aspect of treating them or with the boarding. I love that when I travel and they board that I can check on them via camera. A lot of vets are money hungry but I've never felt pressured to do anything that I felt was unnecessary just for the money aspect. The staff is very accommodating, all of them, although Lisa holds a special place in my . I plan on never changing vets, even if they are a 30 minute drive. It's well worth it knowing that my fur babies are in excellent hands.

Let me just start by - these people are so beyond money hungry ! I'm here for vacation and adopted a stray dog from humane society kill shelter here in Florida. They gave me a free visit to the Palm city Animal Medical Center and it was possible my dog I adopted still had lingering hookworms. I went in for a simple exam (free) + a fecal analysis to check if she still had hookworm. When I got her from the shelter she was vaccinated with all her shots 2/15/18 and didn't need revaccination they stated she was all set to go! (stated on her printed paperwork) until 2/2019.(besides the hookworms) I took her in for the check up on the hookworms to see if she still had them 2 weeks after. They revaccinated her again (without asking) with the same thing she got on 2/15/18 (less than a month) - da2pp-cv AND bordatella. She got these vaccines twice within not even a month. Within hours she was acting lethargic wavering, and couldn't even stand up. I brought her back immediately and they gave her what they could, but she still acted really messed up through the night. She even had an accident before I could get her back home in my car and was peeing while she walked. I'm not happy that they completely disregarded her "revaccination dates" and gave them to her within 2 weeks, trying to tell me it's OK when she's obviously not and they obviously don't know how to read! Feel very ripped off, very unpleasant first impression.

They are incredible. We first met them during a very sad time of putting our 16 year old Jack Russell down. They were so wonderful and caring. Professionalism from front to back and made this horrible experience tolerable. They followed up with us the next day and sent us an imprint of her paw that still sits on our mantle. Dr.Jolin is now our vet for our diabetic 11 year old dog. She is caring and always remembers our guy when he visits. She is always finding ways to make him more comfortable and is absolutely professional and kind. The vet techs are absolutely incredible also. Kind, caring and gentle vet.

I wouldn't even give this dump one star! I took my dog in for a check up he had a lump by his rear. After they took him in back and did a biopsy . They gave me a day to bring him back . The test revealed it was a cancer and most likely not going to be good . I had a suspicion that they were not telling me the truth. The vet was very rude and heartless. I did not go back instead Thank God I decided to get a second opinion. It turned out the lump was Not Cancerous and my dog is fine. This place since moving into their fancy new building must need money to pay for it. I don't know where the veterinarians are that use to work in their last place are because I know some of them are gone. This place is a mess they made me think my dog was going to die.

I would advise you to NOT take your dog here. We took our dog here since he wasn't acting his normal self. Knowing that our dog wasn't healthy, the vet did numerous tests costing us over $500. We were told nothing was wrong and he had a heart murmur and bronchitis so they sent us home with medication. 6 hours later our dog died. This is such an unfortunate experience and feels like we lost a family member and now we have no answers and no closure. They took our money and set us on our way. I would not recommend bringing your loved one here.

My experience has been completely different than other posters. I found the office staff to be incompetent, including the office manager. I was referred here because my foster cat required dental xray. A referral was sent here by a referring vet, photos were emailed and multiple conversations were had with staff to insure that this Dr. and this facility were the right place to handle a somewhat unusual feline dental problem.. The procedure proceeded as if they had never heard a word I or my vet said.The cat was anesthetized,no xray was taken. Molars were cleaned. THATS IT! Post procedure, the recommendation of this vet after speaking with colleagues outside the facility was you "should have an xray done"and take the cat to a specialist to figure out how to deal with this problem. After $260 nothing accomplished. Now more money for a rescue organization and subject the animal to another anesthetic that is of course without it's own risks and cost.After being in the rescue business for almost 20 years and adopting out more that 100 cats over the years and dealing the many , many vets this is the WORST experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this facility for anything but routine care. A beautiful, well equipped l facility with absolutely incompetent staff.

Palm City Animal Clinic and Dr. Paul Wolff is the absolute best vet ever!! He has taken care of our cats and dogs with love! The facility is the greatest! We boarded our puppy for several days and she was completely cared for. We had a link to a video cam in her room and we saw them feeding, playing with her and walking her. Her room was never dirty!! As long as I know (and live near), I wouldn't consider any other vet than Dr. Wolff - it's not just a profession to him, he truly cares about your animals!!
