They killed my dog I went in for a simple neutering and at 3:30 this morning my dog was dead. These are the most cruel and inhuman people I have ever dealt with they do not care about your pet at all they are truly money driven. So I went to the vet to get my records and they said they don't keep records of the vitals after surgery? WTF I never heard of such a thing they won't tell me what anesthetic or how much they gave him. I literal had to call the Sheriff to get them to respond. Read Less

I don't know where to begin. This week has been the toughest week of my life. My baby girl had mast cell tumors all over her body due to cancer and one ruptured on Monday night. I got to the hospital with her at noon on Tuesday and the care and immediate attention that was given to her was second to none. Everyone worked as a team in the back and they even allowed me to stay with her while she was getting fluids and all of her medications. I appreciate how kind they were and how sensitive to the issue they were. Needless to say, my angel passed over the rainbow bridge at 7pm that day, but I can say that they did, without a doubt, everything that they could to keep her alive and to help her with her issue. She started hemorrhaging so at that point, there was nothing that could have been done to help her unfortunately. I'm in complete pain missing her, but I thank this team of professionals for their care and quick response. My baby kitty (he's actually almost 7) has not been feeling well for a couple of weeks. Like I treat my self, I only take my animals to the doctor if they're sick, luckily they have all been healthy, so they haven't seen a vet in awhile (6yrs). Yesterday was different... excessive vomiting & lethargy. A co worker recommended Day & Evening. When I called I talk to 2 different staff members, they told me to bring him in & they would work us in. And they did. They were so busy, but they took time for us. Was a LONG time Customer, but after several very bad visits I decided to take my business elsewhere. Image my shock later when I hear from several people the providers there are all scientologists. Dr. Adney was absolutely amazing! I've moved many times over the last few years, so have seen many great vets, but Dr. Adney was by far my favorite. I have two dogs with many miscellaneous health issues and this  sometimes seems to confuse vets a bit or we have trouble finding good solutions. Dr. Adney helped me address a few concerns with each dog and did a small surgery on one of my dogs. This was all an incredibly easy, pleasant experience. My dog who had surgery typically responds pretty intensely to medications (gets sick, has had seizures, etc.) and to my surprise, he had absolutely no issues with recovery after surgery as Dr. Adney knew exactly what medications to give him and how to make sure everything worked well together. I've take my precious pooch there for the last two years (since we got her as a rescue). This is a very clean place, very efficiently run. I usually see Dr Stallman, but have seen others. They care about my dog and her preventative as well as "sick" treatments. It is pricey as far a I am concerned, but taking good care of your pet is not free. Read Less

So, like any organization you are only as good as your weakest link or in this case, your worst employee.The front desk staff was wonderful, as were my emais with Paula and Jamie. After filling out the paperwork I was put in a room to wait for a 'tech'. I was told the "Tech" would review the process and expectations of the procedure my pet would be receiving.   Here is where this company suffers greatly. The " Tech, Dr. Or Dr wanna be" (whatever this persons was), was mostly interested in up-selling me add-on items that are offered by the company. With each Item I refused, she became noticeably more and more upset.  I could only surmise that she receives a sizable portion of the proceeds she was up-selling? She had zero personality to begin with and by the time she was done with me she was super uptight, abrupt, demeaning, uncaring, and sarcastic. Sarcastic in a nasty kind of way, not the playful way. I think all of the Yelp readers will understand better if I just use one word to describe her. "Bitch" ( please notice the capital 'B') I came into their business felling very good and I left feeling pretty crappy. I can't help but think, If this is what we see as their 'Best face' What goes on behind the scenes?  What kind of care is our pet really getting? This employees poor customer service either tarnishes the reputation of the entire organization, or is a representation of the entire organization. Which one it is I will never know, because I will never return.  Oh, and never once did the 'Tech' tell me anything about the procedure my pet was receiving. haha I would like to suggest this women go and get a job at the DMV in NYC or another government agency where you can treat people like crap and still keep your job. I would give this hospital a big fat ZERO rating! Their staff is rude, not accommodating at all!! Would not sign Rabies certificate or supply a tag. The certificate received was not only unsigned but also did not include tag or certificate number!! Forcing me to get another rabies shot with my vet in order to get proper certificate with tag. We purchased a dog from a rescue who had taken the dog to this place. Do not take you fur baby to this vet! This place is wonderful! The staff here is very knowledgeable and courteous. This is the only vet I have ever been to (or called) that would do a fecal test on my cats without me having to bring them in for an exam too. We took our dog here for a sick visit. They were very helpful and nice. Unfortunately we had to let her go due to her issue that was found. They were absolutely amazing through the whole grieving process. They explained everything before hand and answered any questions we had. We truly felt like family during that time. Great Pet Hospital. I would highly recommend if your pet needs surgery of any kind. Must say first of all staff team here does an amazing job of handling a large volume of pet owners in and out. They are extremely efficient. I was recommended by my vet Dr. Kathy for my cat Jazmine's surgery. She told me that this doctor has successfully done the hip surgery Jazmine needed. Dr. Camp is the one who did the surgery and he did amazing. He was very kind and helpful when I picked her up after surgery. He even took the time to put me in contact with a cat owner who successfully had the same surgery on his cat a year prior, and that was very informative. He made my experienced feel personalized. Not living  in this area for very long I had asked friends for a decent vet. They recommended this one. My elderly Golden tore his ACL I cannot remember the vets name. There are a few. This particular vet gave me five options for my dog. I opted for surgery. Today he was scheduled for surgery. The vet did a blood panel on him then a chest X-ray. Which showed something around his heart. He sent the X-ray to be evaluated by a cardiologist. So no surgery until that's done. I am not sure if other vets would do the same thing but this impressed me a lot.  They were also willing to help me out by payments for the surgery. The office staff members  are very friendly. The place is immaculate and at other times we have been there as busy as it's been the waiting time is minimal. I would highly recommend the Day and Evening Pet Hospital. I just started using this clinic last month and I have to say I have had nothing but great experiences there with Nugget. The front office staff is always very friendly and helpful. I heard a lady at the front desk calling other clinics to look for a place for one of their clients to bring a feral raccoon. That's going above and beyond. Instead of just saying no and hanging up, she spent her time trying to find somewhere that WOULD see an injured feral Raccoon at 7 PM. Took my Beagle mix dog here - my dog  was terrified of any vet I took him to; he would growl and whine.  It was mentally exhausting for me and for my dog to go to a vet. We were in the area on vacation with our 8 month old puppy Lilly. Lilly found some fishing line and special hooks which ended up in her mouth and embedded in her lip just below her nose. The entire hook was thru her mouth and exited her lip....she was miserable. We took LIlly to Day & Evening Hospital and they immediately took us into a room and cared for Lilly. They placed her under and got that nasty hook out of her mouth (and removed a baby tooth) within an hour or so. They even kept her for the day for observation so we could do some vacation stuff. I agree with the last post. My husband took our dog there last night and came home with a $450.00 dollar bill! We were prescribed 6 medications! $17 dollars for a can for wet dog food. I just talked to Dr. Adney and he advised me to NOT do a procedure on my dog that could have been done but wasn't needed. They saved me a lot of money by being honest and that's hard to find these days. He could have easily said that I should do the procedure and I would have done it. They also have a 5 star facility and tons of experience. If you need a new or better vet for your animals, go here, they are honest and experienced. Well we this use to be our Vet, I said "use to be" because things have changed a lot, we where going there for years, the Doctor that owned it sold it and the new owners built a big new building across the street and are apparently trying to pay for the building by up selling everyone, I had heard this from many people but did not give it much thought until my 80 year old mother had to bring our daughter's dog that we were watching while they were away.A two year old small dog that had a bladder infection , my wife had call and asked how much the office visit was and how much antibiotics would be if needed.This was going to be  $125.00 worst case scenario with the office visit,urinalysis and the meds ,when my mother went to pick up the dog she was handed a bill for $255.30$130.00 charge for X-Rays was added with out a phone call to anyone.When the appointment was made they were told to give us a call as we are responsible for the dog and the bill, no phone calls just a bill handed to my 80 year old mother who just paid it because she didn't know any better.Now after-the-fact we have called four times and got the runaround, that the office manager is on vacation or she's not available ,when speaking to the doctor directly it was just talking on deaf  ears and said talk to the office manager.So be warned if you go there, be specific on the charges because otherwise you will wind up with unnecessary upsell's.I do not like being taken advantage of! I'm with Brent! There is something quite off about the staff, especially the girl at the front desk with the short bob hair. She is soo snotty and unfriendly and I don't know why they would put her up front as the first person you deal with. She acts like you're bothering her EVERY TIME! It's very annoying. The female vet in there is not very helpful if you have something expensive wrong, they seem all about expensive care. The old vet was much much nicer and willing to work with you payment wise. Their big thing is to swipe a comb through your pet and then show you how they have fleas like you're an idiot and prompt you to put your pet on poison flea control. Now they have that new office with the same parking problem as the old one! Read Less

Came home from work to find my Boxer unable to get up on her own. She was favoring her rear leg and unwilling to place any weight on it. Being after her regular vet's hours, I called Day and Evening and they said to bring her in. They worked her in and diagnosed the problem as arthritis. I first met him when he was an emergency vet, which I understand he did that for many years!!!  Now he is in private practice, and I am so excited for them to open their new office across the street in the next couple of weeks!!! I took my toy poodle in for a check up and to have her teeth looked at. They had been in bad shape for years and I didn't know what to do. I took her into Kevin with Day and Evening pet hospital to do something once and for all for her. I felt bad  and even embarrassed about her condition. He took one look at her and said he would have to remove some teeth. He did say it was bad but he didn't scold me like I anticipated. I have had horrible experience with people who are "holier than thou".  So I left her in his capable hands. After a few hours he personally called me to forewarn about the extent of the work he had performed. He had removed many teeth and it was a little surprising but necessary. His staff gave me all of the information necessary to take care of her and were very thorough. After less than 2 days she is spunky and has a fantastic appetite. She used to smell and now she doesn't. I just want to say to Kevin, thank you for giving me my dog back! This has been one of the best vets I have been to in a very long time!!! Last year my pup was knocking on deaths door and I had been to 7 different vets including my vet of 6 years... all of which could NOT diagnose her! Dr. Adney and his group took great care of her... and since then we go back for MONTHLY visits!!! Each time they know who I am, and are super wonderful and sweet! Dr. Oconnor has since taken over my pups case! I'm super thankful for all of them including the girls at the front!!! They are a busy office at times because they are GOOD at what they do! And just like any hospital they have to triage their patients based on need of immediate medical attention!!! Please remember this when you go to any establishment that practices MEDICINE. "You can neuter a guinea pig?" Is a question I have been asked by just about every mom who has brought their kids over for a playdate at my house and come across the guinea pigs. Why yes, yes you can neuter a guinea pig! Dr. I-forgot-his-name-but-he's-awesome did a great job neutering not one, but two of my guinea pigs. And for the best price out of all 20+ vet/pet clinics I called in my area. Day & Evening Pet Clinic came highly recommended by my neighbor, too. And it was actually a local pet store that told me they bring all of their animals to this clinic as well.While I was there, both in dropping off and picking up my guinea pigs, the staff seemed very friendly toward any dog in the waiting area (no cats, either time I was there). The doctor was very thorough in explaining things and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I'm so glad I found this place! And now for information you probably don't need, but I'm writing it out anyway:My kiddos acquired two guinea pigs from the Easter Bunny on Easter morning. The previous owner (we'll call her the Easter Bunny helper) - gave me an amazing price for the pair and their habitat. When asked whether they were both males or females, I got "Well, we know Oreo is a male... but we're not so sure about Patches." Patches, as it turns out, is not a male, but was a pregnant female. Within a week of having our two piggies, and reading that female piggies go into heat immediately after birth, we decided Oreo needed to be snipped. But who neuters a guinea pig? Well, apparently some vets do, but they want to charge you in excess of $200. Crazy, right? Day & Evening Pet Clinic neuters guinea pigs for $70, give or take. You'd think that's a lot, but call around and you'll quickly discover that it's the best price you can find!!!Patches gave birth to two healthy little piggies, a boy and a girl. A few weeks later when we noticed the little boy exhibiting signs of sexual maturation, we brought him in to be snipped too. Now they are a happy family of 4, albeit Oreo occasionally tries to mount his "wife" Patches, only to stop right away and look down at his "parts" with confusion. Overall, 5 stars. We've got a family of 4 guinea pigs - two more than we initially bargained for but since guinea pigs are social creatures, they are very amusing and my kids love them. If it weren't for the Day & Evening Pet Clinic, we'd probably be up to like, 12 guinea pigs now, lol. 4 is enough. :) Read Less

I do NOT recommend this vet at all. We have been taking our pets here for years, but Dr. Paredes is no longer there (he was wonderful). I did not find this out until after I was there for our appointment. My puppy had a TERRIBLE painful experience & and exam, and was injured from the fecal test. Vet did not even introduce himself - said not a word to me the whole time he was in the exam room. What I was quoted over the phone, is NOT what they charged me. After 7 years of taking my pets here, I can 100% say I will never return - I am searching for a new veterinarian today. Please beware of this place. Read Less

Had my sugar glider neutered last week by Dr Adney on a recommendation. I drove down from Spring hill to a warm welcoming staff and an immaculate place, and felt instantly at ease. After the surgery, it was the Dr. himself who called me for pick up, and met with me personally when I went to pick him up. Wilson did well and is doing well. He was given the same attention and respect as the big pets get .Oh and by the way, it cost $83.00 less here, then the vet near my house in Brooksville. I came here because of the recommendation, the low cost was a bonus. It is without hesitation, I recommend this facility and staff. Read Less
