Please avoid this animal hospital if you value your time and money. I scheduled an appointment to get my pet spayed on Friday, January 27th 2017. When I arrived at Palm Harbor Animal Hospital at 8 a.m. to drop off my pet I was immediately shooed away. The receptionist told me they had me scheduled for Monday even though I was specifically told Friday several times earlier in the week. The receptionist went on to tell me the veterinarian had thrown out her back and surgeries that were scheduled yesterday were now moved to today. I wouldn't be so angry if they had called and informed me ahead of time that they would have to reschedule my pet's spaying for another day, but instead the receptionist lied saying my appointment was on Monday. So which is it? Either you scheduled my appointment on the wrong day or your veterinarian is out of commission and can't preform their duties so your surgeries are backed up. The receptionist then tried to get me to come back Monday and when I tried to politely decline she informed me rudely that no one else would have my pet in for a spaying by Monday. I told her how unprofessional this was and simply left. Why would anyone come back to this establishment when they can't even do the most basic things like schedule your appointment on the correct day? Do you really want the people who work here performing surgery on your pet when they can't even comprehend how a calendar works? I don't. We have lives too. Why should we keep having to call off from our jobs just so you can figure out yours? I have only been to this establishment a few times but have been disappointed each time. They seem to care more for the money than the actual animals. Please avoid this place and spend your hard earned money somewhere else! Read Less
