Our sweet cat declined suddenly today. It was time to say goodbye. We called our normal vet Pines West animal hospital and were not helpful and couldn’t get us in during this emergent, difficult time. From the moment I called VCA they immediately were empathetic to our situation and promptly gave me an appointment 1.5 hours from The time I called. They were truly caring and there in or time of need. We are thankful for their kindness. If my mom ever gets another animal this will be the place she comes. Read Less

My cat went in for a simple procedure ( a dental ) and they almost killed him. They weren't checked the amount of oxygen was going into my cat and also the pop up valve was BROKEN. For being a vet assistant, that would be the main thing you would check in a procedure. I was very inraged at this whole situation and i will never be going back. Read Less

Their flyer says they are open until 5:00 p.m. and so does the door. I went at 4:45 because my dog had a nose bleed, so I looked for a place that was open. They said they stop taking appts at 4:00 and she looked at me like I had three heads. Sorry, I don't control the times my dog has an emergency. Their sign and flyer should say that then. Additionally, the girl in the front said she'd ask the doctor in the back, Dr. Kuhn, to see if the Dr. could see my pet. I was told No (mind you with a dr on the premises) and told I could be given the number for 2 animal hospitals in the alternative. Don't say you are open until 5:00 if you are not. Don't advertise that you are open until 5:00 if you are not. I am new to the area and was misled by their advertisement. Read Less

Good vet and boarding....walked in to have my dog groomed (with an appointment) and watched as the groomer was yelling at the other staff about how she's busy and she "doesn't care she's leaving on time" the whole thing was awkward and I didn't want any of that potentially taken out on my dog...will try grooming once they get scheduling better so I'm not handing my pet to a pissed off lady with shears.
