They were great. They fit me in on the day I called and didn't crazily over charge me and found a diagnosis that the emergency vet that charged me a grand didn't find. He also gave lots of options and didn't get frustrated or impatient with all of the questions I asked and I mean come on he has all the stray dogs and cats he adopted hanging out all around the office. Being new to this area and having never needed to seek veterinary care for my beloved pet, I did not know where to go. I googled veterinary care near me and found All Aboard. Dr. McCallister and his staff having never met me, my wife, or my pet previously could not possibly have been nicer. As it turned out my pet was terminal and when Dr. McCallister gave us the news we immediately looked at each other and started crying. I looked up and so was Dr. McCallister. His staff members Corey and Nikki when finding out the diagnosis hugged us and cried as well. I would never be able to say enough nice things about this office if I tried, because I would be talking forever. Melissa and Nikki at reception are so professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. McAllister takes his time with your pet. He sits on the floor with them and holistically checks them over. We have been taking our pets to All Aboard since we moved here in 2011. Doc made an emergency house call for us one night, even though he had to bring his young daughter because they were already on their way home. Normal visits are always great, the assistants and techs all really show care for our dogs, one dog is shy and they treat her so well. Excellent Doctor but support staff inadequate. Scheduled appointment to get my cats groomed in the morning and groomer wanted to begin in late afternoon. Agreed, but asked why appointment was in the morning and couldn’t begin in the morning especially after waiting 10 days for appointment. No solid answer to that question and in fact groomer rubbed me wrong with a take it or leave it attitude. Initially agreed, they told me they would board the cats and left facility for 25 minutes only to return because of a bad feeling I had. Sure enough, the cats were still in the lobby on the couch in my cat carrier. The lobby was a madhouse and multiple large dogs running around with the cats still sitting on the couch terrified. This animal clinic is located on Dixie Highway and just North of Mc Nab. The parking lot is easy to get into, just watch for the low speed bumps.Dr. McAllister and his staff are friendly, efficient,and explain terms and conditions in easy to understand terms. Fees are reasonable and pet insurance is accepted.Grooming services are offered by appointment by Penny. She treats your pet as her own. Boarding is also available for those that need it. They have a generator for emergency power outages. Some one is at the hospital at least 20 hrs. a day.Dr. McAllister and staff communicate treatment options by E-Mail and keeps one up to date with the newest treatments.HURRAY for staff and Dr. My Bennie has found one of the best for his care. I was told that Dr. McAllister was awesome so I thought I'd try this pace out. Dr. McAllister was away when I brought my dog in, so they had another doctor to cover him. After the initial exam, the doctor noticed my dog's nails were long, so he offered to have them cut. Thinking it was nice of them to offer, I said, "Sure!" When they brought her back, I noticed they had cut the quick off of three of my poor dog's nails. If I wanted a botch job, I would have done it myself. Thanks for traumatizing my dog. I am a foster volunteer for South Florida Lab Rescue.  Having a lab myself, I have been going to a practice in my area.  I went to this practice a few times to receive care for my senior lab I am fostering as well as surgery etc.  I was literally touched by the way Dr Mcallister and his staff treat those animals.  Extremely reasonable and the time he offers to charity is amazing.  I left there feeling warmed.  This was no business corporate vca this was a caring doctor with an awesome staff.  They are fair and reasonable and honest.  I was literally touched when I saw what the staff does for their own patients and customers as well as what they do for lab rescue and dobe rescue.  This staff saves lives with their huge and generous hearts.  I will be bringing my dog there from now on.  What a loving caring quality environment Read Less

Poor customer service, normal vet is out of town, the vet on duty lacks people and animal skills. She was very uninterested in meeting a new client and very uncaring and uninterested in my dog. Gave flip answers and comments which neither the human or the canine appreciated. Sad. Read Less

This place is very bad with follow up and communication. i called on Saturday with concern about my cat having a urinary tract infection and they told me it didn't sound like an emergency and they were about to close. They set me up for a Monday appt.Monday came around and I had an unexpected emergency and at 1pm, I realized I had missed my appt.I called them and asked why they hadn't called me to follow up and the gal said she was overwhelmed busy and didn't get around to it.Meanwhile.........On Sunday morning I called another nearby vet and they told me to take her in within the hour and they would check her out.......yes on a Sunday!!!Furthermore, this morning (Monday), the gal called me to see how my cat was feeling today.I will not be returning to All Aboard again......they are careless and are not really concerned about your animal. They took care of my buddy Indy in life and helped me with my two new girls after Indy left me after 15 amazing years as my friend. The Dr took time to hear her history and talk about her conditions (she was just released from a nuerologist specialist)  we needed to find her a vet.  Well.... this is definately the place!  Fairly priced, caring, friendly, clean, and offers many services.  We made an appointment with the groomer..I honestly can say nothing negative about this experience.  Will continue our business here! I took my brand new puppy to this place because it was close to where we live. The actual Dr. Was not in the office so we saw his replacement which was a female. Let me first say that the front desk staff and tech were extremely friendly, however the female vet was awful and we will never go back and I would never recommend this place based on our experience. We brought the puppy in a day after he was shipped on a plane and when she asked for his health cert I did not have it (not bc the breeder did not provide it but bc I mistakenly left it at home) she immediately started to tell me that is was illegal to sell a dog without a health certificate I called the breeder and the breeder immediately assured us it was attached to the crate that is was shipped in and that the airline would never allow a pup to fly without a health cert. The dr was still out of line and inappropriate she then listened to my puppy's heart and shook her head and said he has a  very serious heart murmur and then asked the assistant to listen. Told me that he might have a congenital heart defect and to not let me kids get attached to him. She said I know it's the holidays but I just want you to be aware of course I panicked and was very upset, she treated the breeders like criminals and was seriously just awful. We called the breeder and they were mortified told us to please get a second opinion but there is no way the murmurWas a 4/6 (which is pretty serious) that they never would have put the puppy on a plane and that he wouldn't have been cleared to fly. So we took him to another vet and the vet didn't hear anything. We were shocked we told him what the vet said so he got a different stethoscope and listened he said he heard a very slight 1/6 on the left side but that he would like to see him in a month to hear and that it's not anything like a PAS that would require surgery but that we should just watch him. I asked him about the temperament of the puppy because the other female vet said that he had an abnormal disposition and was lethargic, Dr. midland assured me that our puppy had the disposition of a Golden that had been bread correctly they golden'a have a calm disposition and that he was a very healthy pup and seemed normal. The thing that really sealed the deal was when Dr.Midland asked me about flea medication and I said that the other place had given me trifecta and he said ok well that was recalled and we don't feel comfortable giving that so next time I see you we will switch it. Also he didn't even charge me for the visit! Basically I would never ever recommend this place and will never be back. I am just sorry we didn't see the normal Dr. That was on the office. Read Less

I have been their customer since they opened almost 4 years ago and have been there multiple times (I had a cat with kidney failure who lived twice as long as expected with the disease because of Dr McAllister's care) I would recommend them to anyone!
