This is the absolute worst place I've ever gone to and I believe it's failure to diagnose my pet directly shortened its life. It has taken me months to be able to find the strength to even write this review. I had been taking my dog here for the last 10 years and the vet (which was always changing) always gave my dog a clean bill of health. I guess that was enough for me. As a quick background, my dog didn't do well with anesthetics when she was spayed, so I've never wanted dental work for her where she has to be out under and I've explained that every time I went here. And even though they always tried to up sell me with all types of dental procedures (even after years of saying putting her under would be life threatening), I dealt with it because they were the closest vet to me. During my last visit, they diagnosed my dog with a common cold (it seemed as though she had some sniffles) and gave her antibiotics. As usual, they suggested dental work, but what really turned me off this time was their callous remark about how stray cats weren't worth rescuing or saving. I decided that was just my finally straw. So, a week goes by and my dog isn't better and we go to a new animal hospital. The new hospital can't believe that she was never diagnosed with a heart murmur and stage 6 congestive heart failure, which is the last and worst stage. Basically, it's a progressive disease that she's likely had for years and I'm only finding out in the terminal stages where she may only have weeks to live on medication. The vet didn't even have to take xrays or do anything else but simply listen to her heart to hear that she had a leaky valve. In fact, the "sniffles" weren't from a cold, but her heart fluid was filling up and pushing against her lungs and causing her difficulty to breathe. We gave her some heart medications that was basically too little too late, and caused her kidneys (which were also diseased and we were never told that either) to fail contemporaneously. We are so blessed to have had her for an extra ten days, but the vet made it clear that it could have been a much more easily controlled situation years ago. I can't believe they couldn't even diagnose and hear a basic heart murmur. It's disgusting and if even one person reads this and decides not to come here, then my job is done. Read Less
