I was out-of-town. Chance got an eye infection. My Dad brought Chance in for care. You called me on the phone and accepted my payment via credit card. You followed up on his progress. My dog needed go to the vet because she was sick, I called to make an appointment the only time they had available was 10am the next day. I told them that I had to work and there was no way that I could take the day off because I have been out sick. I just wanted to share with everyone what this staff done for me they let me drop my dog off that morning before I went in to work and picked her up after I got off work and didn't charge me extra for that, I was so grateful. We have been extremely pleased and satisfied with leaving our 3 dogs and 3 cats at the north Port Animal Hospital boarding facilities! Bonnie and Hannah are so loving and kind to all of our menagerie that our dogs actually are excited when they get there. It seems more like a fun doggie day care for them! We have a 7 year old Australian Shephard who has been cared for by North Port St Lucie Animal Hospital since she was 9 weeks old. We have always had a great experience at the facility both with the staff and the boarding kennel as well as her care by the veteranarians. Sophie loves everybody there and even though she is a "barker" and very noisy, it is obvious that they enjoy her and are very tolerant of her. My two girls (Doggies) had a non stressful event. Waiting time was short. Questions, answers and education was done without having to wait until the exam was done so you don't forget what you wanted to ask. Staff is caring and compassionate. Felt comfortable and so did the girls. The Vet has excellent knoweledge, experience and a gentle touch in handling of my girls, also, with kindness, caring and compassion. Even in naturals (Omega 3). Our vet of many years retired and he offered his patients go to North Port Animal Hospital if they so choose. My German Shepherd Mattie does not like going to the vet. This was her first trip to this Vet and she was very anxious as always. The staff and the doctor were great with her, never mentioned a muzzle and filled her with treats as she got her yearly shots and checkup. They were very good and we will go back when needed. I've seen some very negative reviews, but that has not been my experience at all. The staff has been very helpful and my 18 year old Maine Coon has been given a new lease on life because of their expert advice and support. They've been going through changes as the primary vet retired, but I've been impressed with all of the staff who've been so helpful over the last year and a half since I've been bringing my animals here. I have been going to North Port for 12 years now (2002-2014), I have NEVER had an issue while Dr. Gill has been taking care of my boys. We recently lost one of our boys to Cancer (Einstein) - Dr, Gill and his staff were wonderful, caring, compassionate, and Dr. Gill came in on a Sunday just to see us. We have boarded our boys from anywhere from a couple of days, to an entire month at one point. North Port has ALWAYS been accommodating. Dr. O'Malley was a wonderful vet while at North Port, but Dr. Gill is that "Country Doc" that even a guy like myself from Brooklyn appreciates! 4 STARS, 5 if I could leave that! CB Read Less

Absolutely terrible. They never return any phone calls, EVER!!!! My puppies have been going there for a year and will never set foot in that building again. Every time they come home from boarding they smell like urine and feces. If they bathe the dogs like they bathe the self, or their children, well that is just pathetic. My dog came home from boarding on her period, when asked about it, no one knew. This is not a quality boarding or vet operation. I had been using them for a year and needed to get a puppy spayed. When we asked if they did a payment plan, since I was was going through a difficult financial time, they scoffed and said "not a chance". Ridiculous.. The straw that broke this camel's back was yesterday 7/25/12. I had to spay my puppy at the county humane society and she was in extreme pain so I called my vet for a possible medicine or something to help with the pain, and all I got was attitude and no phone call back. The girl who answers the phone is rude and does not either talk to the vets or call people back. The place is a pathetic excuse for a vet. Never ever ever put your animals there. Read Less
