Dr. Carell has been taking care of my dogs and cats for more than 25 years. He is an exceptional vet who is an excellent diagnostician and a consummate professional. I have used this vet for at least 25 years. He and his staff have taken very good care of my fur babies. His staff is friendly and helpful. I recently adopted a kitten. Always had dogs and this is my first kitten. I had her spayed and her shots done else where for cost purposes. I had Dr. Carrel check her out to make sure everything was ok and that she didn't need more shots. I am so happy he is still here, trust him 100%. Never had an issue. Read Less

Saved 2 of my furbabies, My cat who formed krystals and every other vet wanted to do surgery for $1200, Dr Carrell had my cat for 2 days and saved his life $175 he was 5 at the time, went on and lived 12 extra wonderful years before passing of old age he was 17. I've had nothing but problems while bringing my puppy there. The doc gives us medication and first she has a bad allergic reaction and we brought her back and he gave her a new kind and when I'm home researching both the meds, I realize that my 12 week old puppy shouldn't be taking the meds. It is full grown dogs, it has bad effects on young dogs including death. I called and asked and he said to lower the dose.. No concern that he could have killed her.. Now, my pup is 5 months and I got her spayed on Friday, they were closed on Saturday for some reason, Sunday was Easter and they were closed and Monday they were closed as well. The people who answer the phones after hours are so rude and hung up on me a few times. Why is the vet not there?? They recommend I go to an emergency vet where I'd pay $125 just to get in, not for tests or anything. My puppy's incision is barely stapled. They did a sloppy job, staples just stuck in there, no straight line of stitches, just all over and completely missed putting the staples in some spots and now I've been up with my dog for two nights with it bleeding, and I just woke up and yellow puzs is oozing out.. I can't even take her to the vet because they are closed. She's bleeding and infected and I can't reach her vet. This morning I am taking off work(just got the job, and in this economy it's difficult to find, and I'm risking my job because they're only open at certain times) so I'm taking off work to bring her in and hopefully he'll do something right. My poor baby is in pain and I feel awful. Definitely looking for a new vet at this point. Read Less
