The staff was friendly. I was on time for my appointment but had to wait a little while to be seen. Other than that, they went over their pet wellness plan but did not try to push or sell me on it. They called before my appointment to confirm and called a day later to check up on my cat. The price for a 3 year rabies vaccine and fles/heartworm applicstion was reasonable and I used a free exam coupon. From my experience, it looks like they have improved since receiving so many bad reviews.

I love the service of the tech.'s here. They are all so cheerful and helpful. They text me when my pets are ready and they take very good care of them. It is just horrible that someone would rate this pet hospital and it's staff with a one and say such despicable words to describe them when I know for a fact that they care for their patients more than anything. I give Banfield five stars and and two thumbs up.

My 1 yr old puppy had seizures, so we took this vet since she had pet insurance with banfield. They did tests and said that the best thing we could do was put her down because they couldn't do anything else and she could die on the way to the next hospital. My dad declined and took her to Prima Vista animal hospital, she survived. My dad still had to pay $300 to Banfield for checking her, while in the Banfield where we used to live it cost only $70 to check her. When my dad explained that he had the pet insurance the vet laughed in my dad's face. We almost put my dog down for no reason, had to pay an exagerated fee, and had a rude reaction by the vet. IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANIMAL'S WELLBEING DON'T BECOME AN ANIMAL CARETAKER.

If I could've given a 0 star rating, I would have. They are THE WORST facility to take your pet to. Like most of the other reviews say, all they care about is pushing the most expensive prescription on to your pet WITHOUT healing them and squeezing you for as much money as possible. My pup had an emergency, I called them to get him in to be seen, they told me there was nothing they could do but refer me to another clinic. I called Banfield in Stuart, they got him in right away and took care of him. To top things off, Banfield of Stuart told me that blood work should've been done months ago and was NEVER done by Port Saint Lucie Banfield. I had already been to them three times since September, so they had 3 missed opportunities to get the blood work done. I am so disgusted that they run their business like this. KEEP YOUR PET AWAY FROM BANFIELD OF PORT SAINT LUCIE!!!!!

PLEASE TAKE A NOTE: DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT ever go here, ever! (Tradition Pet Smart / Banfield) Not only do they misdiagnose but they will KILL your pet with all their mercury filled shots that they say the dog ABSOLUTELY needs!
Dogs only need Rabies shot if they are a in-house dog and as long as you disinfect their paws with peroxide after their walks outside then they do not need other shots either.
They killed my beautiful white schnauzer that was only 9 years old.(giving him kidney disease when he was perfectly healthy before I brought him there) In addition NEVER EVER take their so called wellness package because it covers only the Dr. LOOKING at your pet. They charge on top of that for everything else. If you want a good place to go to check out Animal Health Services in Port St Lucie on Gatlin.

It seems like everything is a "drop off" to them. Even a less than 5 minute check up. Like, I don't want to drive there, and go home to be there for all of 30 minutes to get a call to come pick up my pet. And if you do manage to get a regular appointment, you have to wait for long periods of time. They're terrible with walk-ins. I was just told I can't get my dog seen until 4 days from now, when it's as simple as "oh your dog hives, let me prescribe you this". I'm not asking for a skin sample to be tested or anything, just a glance at his body and medicine. I've been using Banfield for 4 years. I used to take my dogs to the Royal Palm and Boynton Beach locations when we lived down south, and have never been so unsatisfied as I am with Port Saint Lucie. We'll be driving well out of our way to the Jensen Beach location from now on.

They did tests and said that the best thing we could do was put her down because they couldn't do anything else and she could die on the way to the next hospital. If I could've given a 0 star rating, I would have. They are THE WORST facility to take your pet to. It seems like everything is a "drop off" to them. Even a less than 5 minute check up. Like, I don't want to drive there, and go home to be there for all of 30 minutes to get a call to come pick up my pet.
