We have been using Charlotte Animal Hospital for about 18 months, since moving to the area. We did try a couple other vets in the area, but ultimately felt that Charlotte Animal Hospital fit our needs best. Although they do not make appointments, they have vets avaialble far more hours than most clinics. They do not have a staffed overnight hospital, which means having to transport your pet to the overnight vet hospital by Murdock Circle. That hospital is not open in the daytime hours, so if your pet is critical, you must again transport them back to Charlotte Animal Hospital for the daytime care. Fort Myers does have a 24 hour staffed Emergency Veterinary Care, but sometimes getting to Fort Myers in an emergency situation is very difficult. For routine care, and even emergency care, the vets and staff at Charlotte Animal Hospital are all kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. In one emergency situation, the vet at Charlotte was able to stabilize our pet and rush us on our way to Fort Myers for the higher level of care that our pet required. In another critical situation, we were faced with transporting to Murdock Circle for overnight care. We prefer a vet that is proactive and thinking ahead to all the possibilities and willing to offer options to us. We have found that at Charlotte Animal Hospital. Read Less
