I was threatened by Peace River Veterinary if I didn't remove my review, they would "retaliate against me"!.

I was threatened by Peace River Veterinary if I didn't remove my review, they would "retaliate against me"!.
I was on the phone with them, crying, in total grief, when they asked me to remove my review. I agreed to do it and then rethought it. I would NEVER recommend them or go there again! I do believe they are nice people and would never harm an animal on purpose. I believe they are kind. I don't believe anyone would become a Vet if they didn't love animals. BUT, I went there for almost 5 years!!!! and they let me down. I just checked my voice mail, I was on vacation for one month. I was left a message that they would "retaliate against me" for my review. It was honest and truthful.
They sent me into tears and sorrow again.
I would never recommend them, or go there again. EVER!
I cannot believe they threatened me!. I have saved the voicemail. I have been in tears for over a month for the loss of my "Aimless".

Great knowledgeable vets and staff. They know you and your pets by name over the phone or in person. INCREDIBLY kind in all regards, but especially when you are going through the most difficult time of saying goodbye to your furry family member. Love them. I live in Cape Coral and drive there every month for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi's medicine. She has Addison's disease, and they have made her quality of life amazing. We can't speak highly enough about them.

Nice young vet but front office staff dropped the ball. I called 10 days ago to have records faxed to our out of state vet. No luck. I called again this morning and was told the records would be faxed when the woman answering the call "could get to it". I explained my dog had an appointment this afternoon with our home-town vet and we needed the records today. The woman replied "I will send them when I can get to it". Not exactly the customer focus I was expecting.
Update: No records faxed and I got to pay for another blood test!

Peace River Veterinary Services is the greatest vet in Charlotte County. Recently we had to put our beloved cat Trouble down, they were very loving, understanding and caring. My son is autistic, our cat, to him, was a therapeutic cat..this cat saw more affection than any family member could ever dream of. It was a true blow to all of us. Peace River understood gave my son the compassion, the time and attention during this painful period. I love Peace River! Thanks to all staff involved!!!

We took our cat in for a nail trim. They just took her back to the exam room and wouldn't let us go with her. In less than 3 minutes they brought her back. Charged us $10 and never trimmed her nail...
We took our cat in for a nail trim. They just took her back to the exam room and wouldn't let us go with her. In less than 3 minutes they brought her back. Charged us $10 and never trimmed her nails (we found out after we got her home and her claws were catching in our carpet!). WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. A week or two later took her to a different vet who we watched trim her "extremely long" claws who attested to the fact her nails had not been trimmed for a very long time.

We live in Punta Gorda and got a new puppy. After looking online for a vet clinic, this one stood out. We've been going there for months and we could NOT be happier. We've seen all 3 vets on staff and they are all fabulous. They truly care about you and your pets. Whether it's routine checkups or surgery, the experience is wonderful. We have a pit bull and they are huge pit bull fans, which is awesome!

I felt I needed to leave a review for this amazing Veterinary Clinic. I have brought my pets to them for 13 years so far and they truly are about the pets! Many others care about your wallet, this one cares more about your babies/pets and focuses on the problem not wanting to add a bunch of other nonsense to bill you. I'm so grateful I found them, if you haven't given them a try, go for it, you'll be happy you did! Such a caring facility just can't say enough about them.

A holiday weekend was coming up, and my cat got sick. I'm new to Punta Gorda and hasn't found a vet. I called Peace River, and they fit me in within an hour of the time I called! The staff are friendly and so helpful... and Dr. Julie Reece is fantastic! She took plenty of time with me; answered all my questions and completely explained to me what she was doing, and why she recommended the treatment she prepared. My kitties have found their doctors in their new home!

All 3 vets and the staff are incredible! I just moved here a year and a half ago and this vet clinic was recommended to me. My baby is 10 1/2 and has gone to different vets throughout her life bc of moving. They are by far our favorite and they genuinely care about my dog and spend time explaining things. Highly highly recommend!!!
