So patient and caring. Not just to animals, but hysterical "parents". Dog had abdominal surgery yesterday by Dr Winter. Dr Daly on when problem discovered, so back and forth for awhile to office. Dog still having discomfort, hubby puts him on leash.....and dog heads for my van, daddy said no, then goes to daddys car with wagging tail! He thought he was going back to PGAH! I'm gonna have to bring him in just to visit, he loves you guys so much!

What can I say?! This is the best Veterinary Service I have ever received for my pets and I have had many many pets over the past 50 years. Dr. Winter is the vet for my cats and my dogs. He is the most knowledgeable veterinarians that I have ever met. He takes his time explaining everything about once pets condition and he treats us like we are the only once they're in his care.

PGAH always takes such good care of our animals. My husband has been bringing his cats there for years, and we've been bringing our dog, Ziggy, from day 1. They were there for us a few years ago, when we had to put our Maine Coon down...so professional and caring. They are always so friendly and helpful, plus the bonus of being so very reasonable, price-wise. I wouldn't bring our fur babies anywhere else!

Both Dr. Kingsbury and Dr. Winter are awesome - they both spent a lot of time with us discussing options for our 13-year old Black Lab mix when he recently became ill. Ultimately my husband and I decided that treatment, surgery, and possible radiation and chemotherapy would be more for our benefit than the dog's, and made the call that all pet owners dread. The Drs.and their caring staff were there for us the whole way and supported us throughout the very emotional process, they really care about their patients and their patients' families.

Last February (2015) after having just moved to Punta Gorda, my 14 year old shih tzu suddenly got really sick and lethargic; she could barely walk and couldn't keep any food down. My brother suggested I take her to PG Animal Hospital as he'd had a great experience with his dogs there. Having just moved and given how sick she was, I didn't take the time to grab her vaccination records and just ran her down to the vet. They were so kind and caring and immediately took her in. They kept her all day and ran some tests but couldn't find anything specific beyond dehydration. After spending the day on a warm water bed and receiving plenty of fluids and meds via IV, she was doing much better and I was able to take her home. She was back to her usual bouncing , happy self the next day! She passed away just before Christmas last year but I'm grateful to the PG Animal Hospital for giving me another year with her and for being so kind to my little girl. Thank you!

Dr. Kurt Winter DVM is a superior doctor. He spends a tremendous amount of quality time during our visits which my husband and I both respect and appreciate. He is extremely informative and proactive about our animals issues and needs. We have 4 chihuahuas, two of which are new puppies. We know he cares about our animals just about as much as we do. The vet assistants are superior as well and love to help in any way they can with our dogs. You never have to wait as they take you right at the appointment time which is great for those with busy schedules. The front desk staff is also superior and kind. They make payments and scheduling simple and easy. They also respond immediately on any request you need from them. We would not take our pets to any other vet. Ethical, caring, clean, all the best one would want for the care of their animal. I have a lot of experience with assorted vets around the country. Punta Gorda Animal Hospital on East Marion is top-notch. They charge reasonable fees without gouging the customer.
My cat was seen by the woman vet and I could not have been more pleased by the time she took to address every concern, sensibly, kindly, and ethically. I find her qualities to be very rare in the vet world these days.
I highly recommend this vet.

My brother suggested I take her to PG Animal Hospital as he'd had a great experience with his dogs there. The hospital is very clean and you can tell they all love animals. No one walked past my pet without stopping to show her a little love first.

Dr. Kurt Winter DVM is a superior doctor. He spends a tremendous amount of quality time during our visits which my husband and I both respect and appreciate. He is extremely informative and proactive about our animals issues and needs. We have 4 chihuahuas, two of which are new puppies. We know he cares about our animals just about as much as we do. The vet assistants are superior as well and love to help in any way they can with our dogs. You never have to wait as they take you right at the appointment time which is great for those with busy schedules. The front desk staff is also superior and kind. They make payments and scheduling simple and easy. They also respond immediately on any request you need from them. We would not take our pets to any other vet. Ethical, caring, clean, all the best one would want for the care of their animal. I have a lot of experience with assorted vets around the country. Punta Gorda Animal Hospital on East Marion is top-notch. They charge reasonable fees without gouging the customer.
My cat was seen by the woman vet and I could not have been more pleased by the time she took to address every concern, sensibly, kindly, and ethically. I find her qualities to be very rare in the vet world these days.
I highly recommend this vet.
