Kevin (my cat) and I just had our first visit here and are very happy and impressed! My 13 year old male cat has had an ongoing problem with digestive issues and now urinary issues too. Dr. Woodman came up with a treatment plan for both short term and long term, and gave me options for everything and explained the pros and cons. This way, we were able to customize a plan that I feel totally confident in and I know that my cat won't resist. I couldn't believe he spent so much time with me! The nurses/ technicians and admin are all really helpful too. I'm so happy to have found a great vet and I would highly recommend them.

My cat was vomiting blood, I had never been to Animal Hospital before, but called them as they were close to my home. They were so helpful on the phone and told me to come right in. Once there they were so caring and helpful and did some tests and got her stabilized and on some meds, and I was able to take her home. (this was a late Friday afternoon)
Dr. Woodman called me the next day to see how she was doing and to explain test results they had back and the next steps to see what is going on with her. He took time to explain everything and even went over costs so I could make an informed decision on what to do next. I am still in awe of this wonderful, caring place.

We brought our 4 month old Mini Schnauzer puppy in for an emergency at 7:30am. I fully believe the quick acting staff and the knowledge of Dr. Woodman saved our little puppy from the unthinkable. I was so impressed by the entire practice, especially Dr. Don Woodman. They are now going to be our forever Vet for our new puppy, and our 9 year old Mini Schnauzer. Thank you Don Woodman, and the entire team at Animal Hospital of Northwood!! The picture below is the day we brought her home. Our puppy Millie is happy and healthy! One more thing; We received picture updates via text from the Vet, and phone calls. They made sure to keep in touch with us so much we never had to worry about calling them for updates. This was a HUGH stress reliever.

Moving to a new city can be scary. Finding new healthcare for our pets was a priority, and after a couple of less than successful practices, we found Dr. Woodman and Dr. Slaby at Animal Hospital of Northwood. Their staff is friendly and inviting and Dr. Woodman put us at ease. He is both knowledgeable and, more importantly, he listens to your concerns and explains things thoroughly. Going to their office is almost like visiting a friend's home. They know all of our dogs and ask about them if they aren't along for the visit. They are a little further away from our house, but I'll drive the extra distance for the extra special care my dogs receive.

The veterinary team at the Animal Hospital at Northwood has been giving excellent care to our dogs for over 11 years. Whether its a routine visit for vaccines or something much more serious everyone on the team has been friendly, compassionate and helpful. With an ailing senior pug that had many health issues, I got to know everyone there on a first name basis and I can really, honestly say that they love what they do and genuinely care for their patients. Both Dr. Woodman and Dr. Slaby are excellent veterinarians, laying out all possible outcomes before developing a course of action and ensuring you really understand what is happening. They both also know when to refer to a specialist and dont hesitate to tell you what they would do if they were in your shoes. Im always greeted with a smile either over the phone or in person and everyone is always excited to see my dogs and know them by name. The entire team there is just fabulous and I wouldnt trust my dogs with anyone else. Thank you to the amazing team at the Animal Hospital at Northwood for keeping our furry family members happy and healthy!

Dr. Woodman is by far the best Vet I've been to, hands down. Not only is he great at what he does but he and his staff truly care about their clients and go the extra mile. They helped me get two diabetic cats regulated with ease and the utmost compassion. If I still lived in the area there's no question that any pets I have would be lifelong patients. I don't know that any other Vet can meet the standards I have now, after my years of going to The Animal Hospital of Northwood. I highly recommend.

I kept going to the same vet for 10 years, and every time I went, no one knew me or either of my dogs. Every time I have boarded them at the old vet, they somehow messed it up and either didn't book both dogs or they booked for the wrong day. Every time I went, they had a different roster of doctors and new staff. (And I went there at least every six months.) We moved to Safety Harbor a couple years ago and started going to Animal Hospital of Northwood about a year ago. Every time I come in, they know me and my dogs by name. One of my puppies had surgery yesterday, and the staff couldn't have been kinder. They took excellent care of him and made me feel very secure that I'd trusted the right people with my baby. They are always excellent about following up after an appointment to make sure that my dogs are feeling okay and are very accommodating with scheduling appointments. I could not be happier with this practice. Would recommend them to anyone. My dad recently had knee replacement surgery and when I sent him a photo of my dog's sutured incision, my dad said, "That looks better than my incision!" Truly a remarkable staff and great doctors. Can't say enough good things about them.

This place deserves 10/10! The Doctor on Duty is so pleasant and GREAT with the animals. Our Cat was a handful!! Very mean and uncomfortable and he handled her so well I was impressed! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were outstanding!!!! We always went to a different Vet in downtown Safety Harbor, and we will NEVER go back- They're overpriced & not friendly! Thank you to this Vet Visit for taking care of us and our kitty!!!

My cat was vomiting blood, I had never been to Animal Hospital before, but called them as they were close to my home. They were so helpful on the phone and told me to come right in. Once there they were so caring and helpful and did some tests and got her stabilized and on some meds, and I was able to take her home. (this was a late Friday afternoon)
Dr. Woodman called me the next day to see how she was doing and to explain test results they had back and the next steps to see what is going on with her. He took time to explain everything and even went over costs so I could make an informed decision on what to do next. I am still in awe of this wonderful, caring place.

I came here with my cat Mittens as a new patient for a possible eye infection after reading great reviews. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable and great at what they do. Dr. Woodman took the time to address all my concerns and answer the questions I had. So thankful to find a great vet in the area, will definitely be a lifelong patient!

We brought our 4 month old Mini Schnauzer puppy in for an emergency at 7:30am. I fully believe the quick acting staff and the knowledge of Dr. Woodman saved our little puppy from the unthinkable. I was so impressed by the entire practice, especially Dr. Don Woodman. They are now going to be our forever Vet for our new puppy, and our 9 year old Mini Schnauzer. Thank you Don Woodman, and the entire team at Animal Hospital of Northwood!! The picture below is the day we brought her home. Our puppy Millie is happy and healthy! One more thing; We received picture updates via text from the Vet, and phone calls. They made sure to keep in touch with us so much we never had to worry about calling them for updates. This was a HUGH stress reliever.

Moving to a new city can be scary. Finding new healthcare for our pets was a priority, and after a couple of less than successful practices, we found Dr. Woodman and Dr. Slaby at Animal Hospital of Northwood. Their staff is friendly and inviting and Dr. Woodman put us at ease. He is both knowledgeable and, more importantly, he listens to your concerns and explains things thoroughly. Going to their office is almost like visiting a friend's home. They know all of our dogs and ask about them if they aren't along for the visit. They are a little further away from our house, but I'll drive the extra distance for the extra special care my dogs receive.

The veterinary team at the Animal Hospital at Northwood has been giving excellent care to our dogs for over 11 years. Whether its a routine visit for vaccines or something much more serious everyone on the team has been friendly, compassionate and helpful. With an ailing senior pug that had many health issues, I got to know everyone there on a first name basis and I can really, honestly say that they love what they do and genuinely care for their patients. Both Dr. Woodman and Dr. Slaby are excellent veterinarians, laying out all possible outcomes before developing a course of action and ensuring you really understand what is happening. They both also know when to refer to a specialist and dont hesitate to tell you what they would do if they were in your shoes. Im always greeted with a smile either over the phone or in person and everyone is always excited to see my dogs and know them by name. The entire team there is just fabulous and I wouldnt trust my dogs with anyone else. Thank you to the amazing team at the Animal Hospital at Northwood for keeping our furry family members happy and healthy!

Dr. Woodman is by far the best Vet I've been to, hands down. Not only is he great at what he does but he and his staff truly care about their clients and go the extra mile. They helped me get two diabetic cats regulated with ease and the utmost compassion. If I still lived in the area there's no question that any pets I have would be lifelong patients. I don't know that any other Vet can meet the standards I have now, after my years of going to The Animal Hospital of Northwood. I highly recommend.

I kept going to the same vet for 10 years, and every time I went, no one knew me or either of my dogs. Every time I have boarded them at the old vet, they somehow messed it up and either didn't book both dogs or they booked for the wrong day. Every time I went, they had a different roster of doctors and new staff. (And I went there at least every six months.) We moved to Safety Harbor a couple years ago and started going to Animal Hospital of Northwood about a year ago. Every time I come in, they know me and my dogs by name. One of my puppies had surgery yesterday, and the staff couldn't have been kinder. They took excellent care of him and made me feel very secure that I'd trusted the right people with my baby. They are always excellent about following up after an appointment to make sure that my dogs are feeling okay and are very accommodating with scheduling appointments. I could not be happier with this practice. Would recommend them to anyone. My dad recently had knee replacement surgery and when I sent him a photo of my dog's sutured incision, my dad said, "That looks better than my incision!" Truly a remarkable staff and great doctors. Can't say enough good things about them.
