I wish zero starts were possible. I cannot recommend or trust PetPal, the staff, the careless receptionist named Kristina or the vet Dr. Londono to correctly process my six month Trifexis order paired with 1800petmeds in a timely manner. Petpal botched my Trifexis order 3 times from 1/18/2023, 2/1/23 and finally 2/10/23. My paperwork says my dog had her heartworm test performed at Petpal on 1/4/23 with Dr. Londono. Christina the receptionist also had mentioned this on the phone. When I placed my 6 month Trifexis flea med order on 1/18 my vet denied it because my dog “needed a heartworm test” before she could approve the script.….Dr. Londono performed the test on 1/4 so why is she having issues with my dog’s negative heartworm test? All I wanted was a six month flea prevention for my dog. I had to cancel the first 1800petmed order because Petpal took over a week and a half to approve my 1800petmeds script and never contacted me to let me know if they approved my order. They left me in the dark for about fifteen days where I then placed a second order of Trifexis hoping this would push Petpal to realize their error and get on track. Still, no word from Petpal about Trifexis. The second time I ordered 2/1 was denied by Petpal’s vet because of her “missing heart worm test” performed on 1/4. Petpal, as of today, 2/10/23 are requesting that I pay them more money $37 for ANOTHER heartworm test which was performed on 1/4/23 and refuse to honor my past orders placed on 1/18, 2/1 and 2/10 in hopes of getting my dog six month’s worth of flea prevention. You have to wait nearly two weeks for Petpal’s time frame to say yes to 1800petmeds. Petpal doesn’t print or email the heartworm / Trifexis script for me to send to 1800petmeds myself. If I sent it in upon placing my order, it would have been done the right way and quickly. During my order with 1800petmeds, Petpal never called or emailed me to confirm their acceptance of my heartworm/ Trifexis script. Petpal also rejected a lot of 1800PetMeds phone calls which left me to deal with Petpal myself and play phone tag with them. 1800petmeds emailed me nonstop with updates how Petpal was not picking up their phone calls. Now my dog and my cats have fleas because of Petpal’s CARELESS timeframe. I’ve been dealing with a very careless phone receptionist all day today named Christina. I’ve been on the phone with her on 2/10/23 from 9:34 am to 2:36 pm as well as playing phone tag these past few weeks. I rescued a small chihuahua and had brought it to Petpal Veterinary Clinic for routine bloodwork before having the dog neutered. I did not receive any results on the bloodwork so I called again and again leaving messages in hopes of finding out the results and scheduling an examination. I finally received a call in which the vet tech stated that she had definitely called me, when asked what number she had called, she read off a number that wasn't mine. She then told me that we would have to pay for the bloodwork again. I was very upset, at this point I received a phone call from Scott Daley who set up an appointment for me. I told him the dog was having issues with its leg and he said it is likely a luxating patella, I will let the vet know to look at the leg when the dog comes in for neutering. When I went to the appointment, I told them the dog hadn't eaten, which he is not supposed to. I then asked them to check his knees because the owner of the clinic, Scott Daley, specifically told me he would ask them to do so. Keep in mind, while I set up this appointment a few days prior, my dog was eating, and I told Scott that despite the leg pain he was eating. The vet tech told me the doctor refused to see the dog because he hadn't eaten to which I responded, "He isn't supposed to eat prior to being neutered". So, I called Scott Daley at which point he screamed at me; "You ^&%$#) idiot you told them he hasn't eaten". I could not believe I had just missed an hour of work to be berated for having my dog fast before surgery. Scott even threatened the health of my dog, for which I have filed a complaint with the state veterinary board. I had a recuse, a back yard breeder that was beaten and abused then discarded. Probably because she could no longer have puppies. I went in to have a mammary tumor evaluated and possibly removed. I saw Dr. Smith. He was honest, and was concerned about my Princess's quality of life. I was given truthful answers, and appreciate the way I was talked to, and addressed. A week later I had to return, as she was not getting any better. It was time to let her pass and end any suffering. The female veterinarian was exceptional, as were the vet techs who handled the matter. The front desk person was helpful, and all the staff were kind, very compassionate and allowed me time to grieve. I am very thankful I was able to be helped by the people at this excellent facility.
