Good place to go to if you need an emergency visit and can’t make it anywhere else. However, I would be weary of going here on a regular basis. Prices are much higher than other vets, and they definitely try to upsell you with things you may not need in particular at that moment. The vet recommended certain prescriptions drugs and my bill was almost $500.00, I then asked for different prescriptions and the bill was lowered to $300.00. I took my dog to the vet for the same exact issue last year and it only cost $180. Read Less

Noah's has cared for our dog, now a four-year-old Chow, since she was eight weeks old. In addition to routine veterinary care, we have boarded her on numerous occasions for times ranging from one day to two weeks. We have found the veterinary staff and technicians to be caring and competent, and the administrative staff to be efficient and courteous. Their batheing and grooming services are competitively priced and we are well pleased with the results each time. We always receive prompt responses to our questions, and their email updates of our dog's health status and needs are tremendously helpful. We recently boarded our Chow there for a few days and we can always rest easy knowing she'll be well cared for and happy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and often have. I'm very surprised about some of these reviews.... I was skeptical at first because of a few negative reviews on here so I took my dog to another pet care business instead. I noticed that every time I would bring my two dogs that their would be a new doctor and employee. Receptionist didn't seem to care. No consistency and they don't take time and answer questions. I decided to visit VCA. The prices were nearly identical except the staff is way better. The craziest part is that the dogs get excited when they see some of the employees now. My Yorkie became extremely lethargic. I brought her to Noah's because they were open as it was around 8pm. They told me my dog was very dehydrated and they needed to do tests that would cost over $2000.00 which I had to pay for right then. They said otherwise they could give her a shot for dehydration and I was to take her home. At home she was so bad she couldn't even walk. I called a friend who works for a vet and told her everything. She told me to get KayleyMarie back to Noah's immediately and put on an IV or she would be dead before morning. When I got back to Noah's, it is now going on 11pm, I told Noah's what I wanted and they told me to have a seat. I was the only one there. After about 30 minutes with my poor little dog laying limp in my arms a man with a large dog came in. The dog looked and acted very healthy. They took him first! They finally called us and I was told they charge by 12 hour periods for an iv and I said fine. At 12:30pm the next day I picked her up and she was jumping up and down and so excited to see me. I couldn't believe the change! Noah's let me take my precious dog home to die because I didn't want to pay over $2000.00 for tests. I believe my total cost was around $250.00 Brenda Ladd Read Less

ORIGINAL POST 3/19/2016--see update below A lot to write here but I suggest reading it all if you are seriously considering this awful place. The only reason they even get a 1 star is because I can't give lower and I have to give them credit for their hours as they were open when my dog was injured. I'm new to this area and our vet is in Lakeland, FL--way to far too drive for an emergency like we had, so, I came here. My dog got injured at his daycare and I brought him here for an emergency procedure. They put in staples to close the cut. That failed and the cut opened up 2 days later. Took by baby back and the Vet decided to stitch the cut. I left my baby who was extremely nervous at the vet's after they told me they were taking him directly to surgery and that he will be done in 2 - 3 hours. I called them 3 hours later when I didn't hear back and they hadn't even started the procedure. They kenneled him that whole time with the wound wide open and without notifying me. If I knew this was going to happen I would have stayed with him or brought him home until time to do the procedure. After my call, they performed the surgery and I picked him up. Never mind I had to pay for this twice, the aggravation here is how my injured baby was handled. I don't recommend this place at all. 3/20/2016 My baby's incision has swollen up considerably. You can tell he's in pain. VCA did not give me any anti-inflammatory or pain medicine for him. Their hours show open on Sunday; but, I was not able to reach them the entire day. 3/21/2016 Still cannot get through to a vet for inflammation and pain medicine or to see my baby. They said they would call before end of day (which meant I would not get medicine again today). No one called. I had a feeling they wouldn't call so in the meantime, I contacted our vet in Lakeland. Made an appt for Tues evening. 3/22/2016 The swelling is starting to go down and he appears to be feeling better so canceled the appt with our Lakeland vet. 3/24/2016 The stitches VCA put in did not stay in despite being told there were 3 layers of stitches. My dog was wearing an e-collar. The collar was taken off only when he was being supervised. At this point, I refused to bring him back to this clinic. At 4:30 pm on 3/23/2016, I brought him to a different vet that had over 4 star rating and was highly recommended. After the vet performed the procedure, she met with me to discuss what she found. There was no signs there were 3 layers of stitches as I was told by VCA. The new vet further went on to say that she found a loose stitch inside that was not even knotted off. The new vet had concerns as to how VCA handled my baby. The new vet went on to say they should have never stapled the area to start with as the area of skin sees a lot of stress and mobility. The new vet was surprised that VCA did not give me anti-infammatory drugs/pain meds and shocked they didn't call me back that monday. I like the new vet and am even considering making them my new primary vet. Oh, and the cost: VCA charged $426 for stitches during normal business hours plus the original staples they put in were $238. The new clinic charged $194 for the stitches. Haines Road Animal Hospital did a fantastic job taking care of my boy. There was no swelling and thanks to the pain meds, he was never in pain. It is a night and day difference in how my baby was after VCA and after Haines. After VCA did the stitches, my boyfriend and I were both close to tears watching how much he was suffering after the stitches for 3 days; however, after Haines did the procedure, he was back to himself the next day. A world of difference! And, we are now 4 days after the procedure with Haines and I'm still happy to say the stitches are still in and my baby is doing great. Read Less

The vet called me Monday morning to see how Bella was doing. I have always encountered friendly staff and quick service. If you feel your pet needs immediate care, I would recommend going here. Yes it will cost a bit more then your regular vet but you pay for them to be open nights & weekends and a timely appointment. I called and had an appointment within an hour. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the Doctors and staff at Noah's. I found Noah's on a weekend, as my regular Vet would not even return my calls and my 6 year old Lab was suffering from a severe case of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. The staff scheduled an appt. immediately on a Sunday morning and the Doctor saw Gator within minutes of arrival. He was a very sick dog. The staff was up front with me about the estimated costs for the treatment he would need and made sure I understood my options before they proceeded. After 2 days of IV treatment, he was on the mend. The doctor even agreed to do the IV treatment as outpatient so Gator could come home every night and sleep in his bed.Read Less

We were going out of town (St. Petersburg, Fl.) from Sunday, 6/21/2015 through Saturday, 6/27/2015. We dropped off our two dogs the afternoon of Saturday, June 20th, 2015 so we didn't have to do it the day we were leaving. One of the several items we left at Noah's VCA, along with the bin of their food, was a very soft, warm blanket one of our dogs loved. When we returned on Saturday, 6/27/2015, we picked up our belonging, which they, Noah's had stuffed into our feed bin. When we got home and later were unpacking the dog's items, we discovered that the red, plaid blanket was not there. We called on Sunday morning 6/28/2015 to tell them the blanket was missing and asked that they get it. We were going to go to Noah's and get it. The female on the phone said for me to wait and she would go find it. About 5 minutes +/- past and when she returned, she stated that she could not find it. Well I didn't believe her for a minute because how could a blanket just disappear from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning??? Unless, someone took it for their own use or, Noah's is keeping blankets for the use in the kennel. I asked it they threw it away and they stated that it hadn't been thrown away. I asked if she had looked in the trash both inside and out. She said that she had and it wasn't anywhere. Well I am going to demand satisfaction and going to, if they don't find it and return it to us in the same good condition we had left it when we dropped off our dogs, to replace the blanket, and a service charge for the work I will have to do to replace it. Since it was a seasonal blanket, only available at Christmas, It may take some time to replace it. The blanket was $22.95 plus tax and I will require an additional amount, yet to be determined for my inconvenience and work to get a replacement. Oh and I didn't mention it but THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED!! Since this is the second time and we have now lost two blankets, the replacement price will be $45.90 plus tax. BEFORE you drop off any equipment or bedding, make a PRINTED list of the inventory you are leaving with the. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE for your pet's items when you leave them with Noah's Make a list with a description of each item, have them sign it! They want you to sing things don't they??? Well you have the right to make t hem sign for your belonging. PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR BELONGS!. Read Less

Read Less

I have taken my dogs there on 4 to 5 times for ER care. Just went last week, Friday evening for one of my dogs. Thankfully it wasn't anything serious that antibiotics could take of. Will continue to use them. Read Less

Read Less
