Switched to this vet 4 years ago because my regular vet refused to supply two days of meds for my parents' dog. AMH did with quick phone call to their vet and minimal exam. Very glad I switched. Fabulous Dr. and staff. Timely with appointments and fair pricing. They don't up sell like some vets. My only complaint is a $15 charge for prescribtion for Sentinel when they would not match Internet price.

Today was the straw that broke the camels back. After returning to the country from a week vacation to pick our boys up we were met with a chaotic lobby consisting of way to many patients for the staff to handle. On top of that we stood by for over 45 minutes to complete a simple pick up. Additionally this took so long because they had to ask a question about blood work, which I had answered on two prior occasions. This was most likely a way to get us to spend more money there. As if this weren’t already enough.. staff continually asked whether our boys had a vaccination record to which I advised they should have it because they are the ones who conducted the vaccinations. They were also not sure what happened to the records of our boys being chipped, which this office also did. The only thing they did quickly was collect payments for boarding, which they also screwed up! They managed to double charge $500. Which actually couldn’t have happened at a worse time since my fiancé and I are paying for our wedding this week. The cherry on top is I tried to call them once we found this error and found the phone lines are down. All in all this is the most unprofessional, unorganized business I’ve encountered in 32 years. I hope no one else has to go through the poor service we received especially after the amount of money we’ve spent there in two years.

We have been taking our cats to the Animal Medical Hospital for years. The staff is very friendly and the environment is very peaceful. Our cats have been given the best treatment and two of them were saved from severe illness in the past. The hours are very convenient for anyone. The doctor even calls personally to give results of blood tests and to answer questions.

Staff is wonderful. All go above and beyond in service to pets and their families. All are friendly and caring including the vets. Facility is always clean. I feel safe leaving my "babies" there for grooming or boarding. I've never had an issue getting an appointment or medication even at the last minute. I just can't say enough good things about AMH and have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

I went there Wednesday afternoon with my sick guinea pig. Bill was $67 and I had $35 to pay them. I told them would be back Friday morning when paycheck went in & pay the rest. Even after paying the $35 & telling them I'd be back in just 2 days, they held hostage a $10 bottle of medicine which sick Abby needed for her infection. They proceeded to bully me & treated me like the worst kind of criminal! Forced me to call & try to get credit for a $67 bill. Meanwhile, there was no reason for any of that - they already had a payment arrangement form in place that they give people to work out those kinds of things! Go to BAYCREST Vet Hospital...they are the vet with a heart & will work with you for 2 days if you are waiting for your paycheck to go in. These people have no souls. They have 2 receptionists - the black girl on the LEFT is their "bad cop" & the white girl on the RIGHT is their "good cop". The older lady who's office manager is a gestapo. Not NICE people or compassionate!! By the way, paid the balance Friday morning like I told them I would - little Abby passed Saturday morning!!

Cannot say enough kind words about this place. Inam new to St. Pete and had not established a primary veterinarian for my animals yet. My kitty was terribly sick and in need of emergency care and although they are not technically an emergency clinic, they welcomed my baby with open arms. They were so accomodating and genuinely kind with handling my little Oliver. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my kitty that day but they will have a loyal customer when it comes time for my dog's needs.

We have been taking our cats to the Animal Medical Hospital for years. The staff is very friendly and the environment is very peaceful. Our cats have been given the best treatment and two of them were saved from severe illness in the past. The hours are very convenient for anyone. The doctor even calls personally to give results of blood tests and to answer questions.

Staff is wonderful. All go above and beyond in service to pets and their families. All are friendly and caring including the vets. Facility is always clean. I feel safe leaving my "babies" there for grooming or boarding. I've never had an issue getting an appointment or medication even at the last minute. I just can't say enough good things about AMH and have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

I went there Wednesday afternoon with my sick guinea pig. Bill was $67 and I had $35 to pay them. I told them would be back Friday morning when paycheck went in & pay the rest. Even after paying the $35 & telling them I'd be back in just 2 days, they held hostage a $10 bottle of medicine which sick Abby needed for her infection. They proceeded to bully me & treated me like the worst kind of criminal! Forced me to call & try to get credit for a $67 bill. Meanwhile, there was no reason for any of that - they already had a payment arrangement form in place that they give people to work out those kinds of things! Go to BAYCREST Vet Hospital...they are the vet with a heart & will work with you for 2 days if you are waiting for your paycheck to go in. These people have no souls. They have 2 receptionists - the black girl on the LEFT is their "bad cop" & the white girl on the RIGHT is their "good cop". The older lady who's office manager is a gestapo. Not NICE people or compassionate!! By the way, paid the balance Friday morning like I told them I would - little Abby passed Saturday morning!!

I had an emergency with one of my baby goats. I went out one morning and she wouldn't put any weight on her left front leg. Dr. Clark wasn't available so Dr. Doley took care of her. Turns out, she had broken her leg. I truly have never had a better experience with a vet. From the first phone call all the way through to the end of the day, We got amazing care. I am so impressed!

Cannot say enough kind words about this place. Inam new to St. Pete and had not established a primary veterinarian for my animals yet. My kitty was terribly sick and in need of emergency care and although they are not technically an emergency clinic, they welcomed my baby with open arms. They were so accomodating and genuinely kind with handling my little Oliver. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my kitty that day but they will have a loyal customer when it comes time for my dog's needs.
