They have no heart. I evacuated from Fort Lauderdale because of hurricane Irma. My dog has been sick for days and I had nowhere to go. I called them the day before asking what to do and they told me to bring him in the next day before 12. I got there at around 10:30 and they TURNED US AWAY! After reminding them of my situation and how they told me to bring him in they continued to just say "sorry". Clearly they don't care about a dogs well being. I have always used Town and country but only care for Dr. Sailor. My boo only sees Dr Sailor because he's the best And the expert. All I have to say is the doctors name and my dog goes crazy and runs to the door. He loves HIM. The staff is also WONDERFUL! Guess what you get to see all the pretty girls, Bentley you wanna see Ms. Sarah?" They both, ears perked, start trotting to the door, once outside actually run to the truck. LOVE Dr. Sailor (and his staff). Been there several times with both of my animals. Although didn't get the best of news on todays visit, he was honest with me rather than advising me to do what would make him the most money. I started using Dr. Sailor bc he is the most reputable in the area and after the other horror stories I've heard of "cheaper" vets, I Certainly wouldn't trust anyone else with my furbabies!!Read Less

As a first timer, I was pleasantly impressed with the overall care of my cat. I looked at reviews of veterinary clinics in Gainesville and Starke and landed here because of the overwhelming comments about Town & Country Clinic. Everyone was spot-on in describing the professionalism and courtesies extended by Dr. Sailor and his staff. I was even more delighted when the man checking in with me told me he wouldn't trust his animals to anyone else. That in itself was most reassuring to me. When we first moved to town we used another vet's office and it cost us the life of one of our pets. Since then we have been using Town & Country. We have many pets that see Dr. Sailor. My olivia loves to go see all the staff at Town and country veterinary clinic. This is the only place she pull me to get into. Dr. Sailor is the best. He take the time to explain everything that's going on with Olivia and give you option on treatment. I feel very content when we leave Olivia there even for a week or two. I have working Belgian Malinois'. The Vets and their techs are AWESOME! The office staff is outstanding, even with the complex paperwork involved with flying dogs on aircraft. No one has any problem with the working breeds which is so refreshing! They listen to what you say and treat you with respect. The dogs they spoil ROTTEN! FIRST RATE . . . caring, responsive and friendly staff . . . Dr. Sailor is a top notch Vet and displays a genuine affection for the animals he is treating. The clinic has various programs that provide savings on services and supplies that customers need. Our little Toy Manchester Terrier seems to do very well when we board him at the clinic. We have used Dr. Sailor since he started his practice. They have always taken awesome care of our dogs. Very knowledgable and caring! Whenever I call or walk in feel like I am @ home. They always seem to know me as soon as I tell them who I am. Dr. Sailor will listen to you when you talk to him about your pets. The staff will stop when they see me and talk with me as a friend.
