The two vets are excellent! I brought our young Golden in when he had eaten something poisonous. Dr. Carloni quickly identified the plant, communicated with Poison Control, and saved Bruno's life. Dr. White saved Miss Blinky when she was 14. Another vet gave her Psuedomonas aeruginosa, when he removed her tooth. She had never been sick in 14 yrs. This Is a serious gram Negative bacteria and would have killed her. Together we used natural and western meds (merepenum) high quality food and saved her life. She is 18, and although her immune system took a hit and she gets snotty and has to have her sinuses sucked out with an infant snot remover, and her toes get infected e...asy. She is doing great. He also took care of Meep who I had to let go June 29th, at 17 years old. He takes care of my big 4 yr old Bagabine s and now a new kitten who I found starving and thrown in the street skeletal and 2 pounds at 2 months. Dr. White and his staff have been caring for my pets for many years. My pets love going there and the staff always seems so excited to see my far babies. I've been with Port Salerno Animal Hospital since 1987. When we brought a 2 day puppy in who's mother had died. That puppy later went on to be entered into the Guinness world book record of the oldest living dog ONLY because we could prove his age through his vet care. Sadly, he died just a few weeks before his official photos were to be done. They have had a change in ownership since then but Dr. White who is there now is a wonderful replacement for our beloved Dr Harper. He... is thoughtful, he takes his time, he calls you right back, he loves pit bulls (which really touches my heart) he goes out of his way for my scaredy cat Stafford Shire so that she doesn't have to be muzzled. I'm always scared she will be so afraid she will bite someone. He doesn't muzzle her though, he may go through a whole jar of treats though! They say you can tell who to trust by trusting your dog, my dog doesn't like everyone but she loves everyone at PSA. Dr White has seen Kelly (cat)several times for allergies. He gives her a shot and is doing very well. Last week took i took James ( cat) in looked like he was hit by car. Put him on meds to help infection. Both cat's are not mine. I feed and take care of 6 cat's that worthless people get then move and leave behind. Read Less

I had a very bad experience with Dr. White. My pet had a period of 12 hours where he couldn't keep anything down. I took him in to see Dr.White. They kept him for most of the day after taking an X-ray and seeing an issue from that test. They took a blood test and let him come home because the results were ok. By Thursday we were back for an ultrasound by Dr. Hayes. I was phoned and told the results were very bad. My pet had cancer. I made it back to the clinic to take him home, but not before Dr. white declaring my pet had stage 4 lymphoma and I would be lucky if he lived another month. So we went home armed with prednisone and tramodol, a pain killer. I have lived on pins and needles for 4 months thanks to this diagnosis and wondering every day and every night when it would be his time. Finally, I sought a second opinion and learned he doesn't have lymphoma, even remotely, but instead there is a cancerous mass that was seen 4 months ago in the ultrasound done in October and now has been allowed to fester all this time. I told Dr. White about this new development and his response was "the lymphoma diagnosis was iffy at best"!!!!!! Seriously, goodbye Dr. white?Read Less

Unbelievable staff, didn't try to rack me up for hundreds. This one of the biggest rip off vets around. Bill you for every non sense test they can think of. I also had them unfortunately clip my dogs nails never in 12 yrs was this dog afraid of this they not only botched the job cut him made him bleed. He now has a fear of nail trims!
