Dr. Saleh is the best vetenarian I have ever met in Florida. He is truly genuine,friendly,honest,loving and he cares about the animals alot. I was sent there for the first visit for my puppy by the store we purchased our New Frenchie.  They were fantastic!  This is my first Frenchie but far from my first dog!  The Vet Tech was so informative gave me soMuch useful information!  And the Dr. clearly loves animals!  They played with her and gave her a Thur all exam!  Even checked her hips to make sure there was no displasure and explained this breed has generally week hips and not to let her jump, not to over walk her because they over heat easily and keep her warm in cold weather. Etc etc.  I was there for an entire hour!  And either the Tech or the Dr or both with us the entire time!  It was awesome!  I've been taking my dogs to another Vet for years and it's always the same, the Tech takes me to a room with my dogs and I wait sometimes 30 mins before the Dr comes in and maybe stays 5 mins.  He does no exam and the Tech gives the dogs their shots.  As of today I just switched Vets! I purchased a groupon for 2 nights of boarding and a bath. Scheduling an appointment was fairly simple. However, when I arrived for my appointment I was made to wait for 10min in one room and then another 10min in another room. The odor in 2nd room (examining) room was overwhelming and disgusting. They had no running water; I'm not sure how they bathed the dogs or have them water. When I went back to pick up my dog, she smelled awful, like urine. They had me wait to speak to someone for about 20min. They then informed me that they were unable to bathe her because she had tried to bite. Mind you still, that I had ttied to get a drink from their water fountain and there was still no running water. I'm thinking they couldn't bathe her because they had no water. I have bathed this dog several occasions. Shes only about 10 lbs. It's a fairly simple task for any competent person, yet alone a vet hospital that does it regularly with an array of dogs.Needless to say, they offered no refund. I recently brought both my dogs here for vaccines and check up, one was on a groupon. It seems the groupon does not have a fecal test included. Instead of telling me this they proceeded to do the test on one dog and not the other. For the extra $23 I would have done it on the other dog. How do you do a test on one dog and not theother, boggles the mind. I have used them before without incident. If you bring 2 pets here make sure they both are getting the same vaccines and tests. The doctors here are excellent and this vet's office is really clean on the inside! The front office staff is very knowledgeable and is very quick with getting your appointment booked and set up quickly. I also like the fact that they call you to remind you of your appointments. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Rahman and Dr. Marcus; they really know what they are doing when it comes to their job. Read Less

I wish I could give more stars. My SO bought a puppy from a pet store (poor decision) and brought him home on a Sunday night. By Monday morning, we realized we had a sick puppy on our hands. He had what I could only assume was kennel cough and blood in his stool. He was also acting very skiddish and sleepy. I called first thing at 8am that morning and Vetfield was able to fit me in at 10am. We were very overwhelmed with the entire scenario and everyone at the office was more than helpful in answering our questions. Rahman in particular was the an absolute Godsend. He was kind, sympathetic, and made us feel like we weren't the worst people on the planet while trying to figure out what the best resolution was for both us, the puppy, and the dog we already have in our home. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE animal hospital unfortunately there's a manager there named RUSSELL who completely disrespected me and treated me so awful in front of my son and the entire waiting room where there were other clients around because I brought my two animals in as an emergency and due to me not having an appointment he wanted me to pay him cash $95 per animal that's $190 total and I didn't have that kind of money on me making my cry in front of everyone because that's all he cared about was getting paid cash first and not even caring about my animals and that was totally unprofessional he could of at least pulled me aside in private to speak to me. But I only had care credit and I wasn't even getting paid in full due to my job getting hit badly by hurricane Irma and not even working for over two weeks. Once the young guy that assists with the vet doctors called me into the room the poor kid did feel bad for me and even told me that the manager RUSSELL shouldn't even be charging me that much money and that if anything it should only be a one time fee of $95 so obviously that shows something shady is going on especially when he was only demanding cash as the only form of payment that guy RUSSELL wanted. Long story short I did not have any cash on me I repeated again to him I only have care credit but I can make payments if they wanted to add that to my bill I begged and pleaded for that man Russell to help me in anyway he can crying hysterical  but the guy RUSSELL said no and wouldn't even work with me and he said I won't let anyone come in to see your pets without you paying me cash now or leave my office I was devastated. So he kicked me out the room that I was in. I thought it was supposed to be more about the animals forget about me and how devastated and heartbroken I was it was my animals that I felt bad for the most. They don't even deserve one star as long as that man Russell is representing them but I had to give them one star just to post this. The doctors and staff here are great. The facility is clean and they really care for your animals. Both of my dogs have been well cared for when they have needed routine wellness visits for if it was a true sickness or emergency. Never have I felt they over charged me and they make sure to answer all your questions and concerns. Took my new puppy there because the store included the pet fees. It was the worst experience ever. PLEASE THINK BEFORE GOINGwas there two times, both time they did a fecal exam and was clear. My puppy was very sick and decided not to do all the test they were recommending (over $400) and took her the the Hospital and she had PARVO. I think the only reason they exist is to get money form new dog owners. Please get a second opinion. Then you'll come here to this page and see all these glowing 5 star reviews. Hmm. Interesting marketing plan this vet hospital has enacted. All I really would like to let people know is that Dr. Saleh does not "care" for pets; rather, he "exploits" them. This is one sick individual. Not only does he reek of horrific BO but he had his hands all over me during my visit. My husband had a good mind to go down there until I calmed him down. The girl up front assured me Dr. Saleh is married (then she winked and said he's on a dating website with a Washington DC-based profile). I've used Vetfield animal hospital since moving to Sunrise about 4 years ago and have recommended them to many friends and family. The whole staff is kind and patient with the animals and their humans. Through emergency surgery,  routine cat dentistry,  worms, fleas, and even the death of a beloved furbaby, Dr. Saleh and Russell are always amazing.  They have recently renovated the office and it's now so much nicer. Vetfield Animal hospital is amazing! My boyfriend and I just got a Siberian Husky and we had an amazing experience taking him to his first vet visit. Everyone there is extremely nice, and really helpful. They talked to us about how to take care of our dog, and some training tips. They were super gentle with our dog and treated him extremely well. Such a great place, we tend to have lots of "itis" problems with Luna Lunera our black lab so we are def. frequent flyers at vetfield. This place has taken care of my family's 4 dogs and they are on point and amazing every single time. We had to get our black lab spayed and were not too convinced, but I am much more calm now that Dr. Saleh weighed out the pros and cons. My Lhasa Apso had a sudden injury on her side and was limping so we rushed her to Dr. Saleh's office. He was so kind and concerned and did a wonderful job treating her. After a series of xrays he discussed with us some options for treating her pain and hip displacia. He gave her a shot and meds for inflamation and although we declined the recommended light therapy treatment discussed, we were very happy with her care. A few days later follow up calls were made by the very friendly & caring staff to check on our dog to see how she was doing.She was better within a week. We went back for a Dental extraction & cleaning a month later and received the same excellent care and concern from the staff. We have been to several Vets with this dog before who were not as thorough and caring as Dr. Saleh. We're very satisfied with him as our vet and recommend him highly. Read Less

He understands that pet owners are usually as nervous as their pets when taking a trip to the doctor. I tasked him with putting down my last dog (due to old age). He spoke with me at length, speaking from a positive perspective, which was one of the biggest keys to me coping with my loss. Fast forward two years, and I was in love with my new puppy that I adopted from the Humane Society. After all of her initial shots were completed by the VCA, I immediately transferred her records and scheduled her next physical with VetField. After a clean bill of health, I was at ease for some time, until I noticed my pup was not using her left rear leg as much as the right. I immediately scheduled an appointment (they were very accommodating), and after the much-needed x-rays, the diagnosis was grim, yet hopeful. My pup required a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO), which was performed , and VetField boarded her afterwards. I was able to see her quarters and the staff assured me she would be in good hands. We are now one month post-op and Im really glad I listened to VetField. My pup has shown significant improvement and is no longer living in pain. Vetfield was very accommodating to my schedule when I signed my pup up for post-op laser therapy, which was performed on-site, with me present in the room. Im continuing therapy on my own and will visit again in a few months for a follow up. Although Vetfield is a bit out of the way for me, the comfort of a friendly and knowledgeable staff, along with reassurance of an accurate diagnosis, makes this a no-brainer for me. I live in Sunrise and made a grave mistake of bringing my Parrot  here. I took him for an exam and nail trim and he started getting a little nervous, so Dr Saleh insisted he put him in this chamber to relax him, when my parrot was removed from the chamber he was a different bird he didn't talk he didn't sing he didn't move. that evening he DIED. I called the office crying and looking for answers and to date they have yet to acknowledge the death of my 12 year bestfriend/parrot nor do they give a crap. This office likes to advertise how good they are but DONT be fooled, I would hate for you to go thru what me and my family have gone thru. If I live to be 1000 I will forever LOATH this SO CALLED DOCTOR and his staff and I will never forgive myself for taking my baby there. Read Less

The Doctor and staff are competent and courteous. My cat had been in a fight with another cat or dog. They kindly treated the cat. My cat is very picky about people. The nurse was very kind to the cat. The treatment cured the infection. The cat is fully recovered. In a different visit the cat had a fungal infection. It was correctly diagnosed and treated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE, ESPECIALLY EXOTICS. I took my water dragons here that were extremely ill and was charged 1000$ approximately and the primary concern of Dr. Mustafa was to take pictures of my dragons on his phone. I'm not sure for what purpose, probably to put on his website and say he treats exotics. He treated my boy with antibiotics which did help his mouth but he did nothing for my girl except say she needed more sunlight and more nutrition. What kind of nutrition was not specified. I went to a specialist for exotics just recently because after two months my girl is still not eating. It cost me 500$ (HALF THE COST) to rerun all the blood work, have xrays done, and stool samples collected. I was given an entire folder on how to care for my pets, etc. Within 45 minutes all the results were in (didn't have to wait a week like I did here at vetfield) and my girls has a TUMOR OR SOME KIND OF MASS THAT REQUIRES ABDOMINAL SURGERY. Dr. Mustafa missed this. He does NOT know what he is doing when treating exotics. I'm not sure about dogs and cats. But please do not board your pets here. I saw some dogs in the most disgusting and dark room ever in the smallest cages and it made me so sad :( Read Less
