Well let’s just say I love this place. Dr. Czamanski saved my dogs life. She was only about 4 or 5 months old when my sister had left an open bag of Hershey kisses on the floor and she ate them all! He’s so calm and nice to her and Vanessa is great with her, but really everyone there is so loving. They really make you feel comfortable and only want what is best for your pet. Made an appointment over the phone for my dog to get a rabies shot and asked how much it would be they told me it was $66 when I arrived the price was confirmed, after she was given the shot , I went to pay and they said it was $120. I told them that they had said it was $66 and then they proceeded to tell me that with each shot they charge an exam fee and the manager made it seem like it supposed to be obvious to me. He spent a long time with us, explained everything extremely well, and did not make us feel rushed at all. The first time I came to have my dog groomed they did a great job with a decent price. Second time around was very opposite. The receptionist and especially the groomer (I think her name was Janine?) were very rude. They called me the day before my appointment stating I had to reschedule do to the groomer having class. Somewhat understandable, but they were very unprofessional and unsympathetic and seemed bothered by having to figure out rescheduling do to their negligence. Unfortunately won’t be coming back. The vets in this animal hospital don’t know what they are doing and are very incompetent. A family lost a family member (the sweetest and most loving dog in the world) because of this animal Hospital! Overall I love the staff here at Weston Animal Hospital. They are so loving and caring towards the animals. Dr. Christopher Deane has been awesome with my cat and dog. When the cat got neutered he was bleeding a little bit when we got home, we called, brought him in and they took care of him immediately. They even offered to let him stay over night at no charge for peace of mind. Although there's been little things here and there that could probably be bettered, their service has been awesome. Every other visit but today has been a great one. My review is about today's visit. I scheduled a grooming appt for today and I scheduled it for 8am. I arrived early to see that the office was still closed, 15 min later and after x amount of calls, someone finally opened the door just to let me know that the groomer hasn't been and wasn't going to be in for the next three days. I don't understand how I can make an appt online and not be looked at by one of there staff members, especially when they know that online you can make appts & the major factor that they won't have a groomer for days. So why didn't someone look at the schedule to avoid a situation like today? I made this appt on Monday and now that I've wasted 45 min of my time that I can not get back, I have to find someone else to groom my dog today. Very disappointing! Read Less

While riding my bike, I found this lil guy flopping on US 27, surely to end up as road kill, so I picked him up, noticed he had both legs broken and some bleeding. He let me get close and pick him up, I put him on the bag on my handle bars and rode back to Weston, the closest "vet" was Weston Lakes Animal Hospital, to my surprise, after I told them what happened, they told me "we don't treat birds". I couldn't believe my ears. Didn't offer to even look at it, help w the bleeding, or anything like that. I can't say enough good things about Weston lakes animal hospital. Stitch apparently got bit by something tonight and they stayed open and waited for me to get there. They checked him quickly gave him medicine for the allergic reaction he was having and they even let me borrow a cone so he wouldn't be tempted to scratch all night. Dr Markova was amazing she was so caring and I can truly say the office staff treats each pet as a family member and not just another number in their system. I would recommend them a thousand times. Dr Valdes is amazing. She has been our vet for many years. We followed her to Weston as we would not want anyone else to care for our babies. Last week she did emergency surgery on Blackjack. He is home and doing amazing. She diagnosed Shadow with atypical Cushing in 2012 and managed to keep him alive, happy and healthy for so much monger than expected. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! My pet died because of him. Dr. Dean is a vile, self-absorbed man. He is pompous and derogatory. I went to him with my family after our beloved pet was having bladder issues. She was 14. They found a stone when they did scans. As we were all crying, he convinced us that major surgery would help recover her. Of course, being emotional and loving out pet, we agreed. When I picked her up, she was covered in her own urine and blood after the surgery. They didn't clean up the kennel! AFTER MAJOR SURGERY SHE SAT IN HER OWN DISCHARGE. She lived for another month after the operation. A month of pain. She lost her spirit. You could see it in her eyes. It was cruel. Sheer cruelty. When I went back for check-ups, he had the audacity to say that I was not giving her the pills properly. We took her to another vet to put her down. It was unbearable. We did not want her to suffer. When I went back to Dean to return unopened and unused meds, he asked if I had another pet to give them to. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! They were cancer medications. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! Greedy bastard!
