I decided on them because I felt it was the right fit for both Elton & myself and having excellent reviews was also another deciding factor. All I can say it was worth the 2 hour drive from St George's Island. Elton & my experience were outstanding. The Staff is AWESOME & a true blessing. I have recently moved to SGI from Atlanta I am so blessed to have found Dr Melanie! She is amazing, I have a 7 yr old German Shepherd Apollo, that has only been to one Vet his entire life. He was having a lot of pain and we were both scared to go to a new vet, Especially 76 miles away but she is absolutely worth the drive. Incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding staff! My dog is suspicious of anyone inside a vet clinic and was not being particularly cooperative with our vet and vet tech (Dr. Brittany and Matt, respectively), but they showed him tons of kindness and patience (and gave him lots of treats!) and we got through the exam and vaccinations without anyone being traumatized. Recently moved to Tallahassee and my dog was having stomach problems. I called in the morning (as a new client) and was given an appointment that same day (on a Friday, no less). Dr. First was incredible and I was really impressed with the facility! I also appreciated that the doctor was taking my dog's diagnoses step by step and didn't jump right into blood tests and xrays. A sample showed a simple upset stomach and she gave me some take home meds- and by the next day he was doing great! Will definitely be using Los Robles in the future. Read Less

Los Robles is the best! Dr. Donofro was the first vet to see what the underlying cause of Roxy's "leakage". Come to find out, she had a UTI. No other vet did this. She treated Roxy like her own, even in Roxy's final moments hear on earth when she crossed the rainbow bridge. I will always be thankful for her and her staff. I won't recommend anyone but her. Thank you Los Robles! You have cared for our multiple kitties (all rescues who had their own problems) and accommodated our various emergencies (5-week old Simon snatched from the middle of a street, Seth's sudden blindness, Yancey ~~ the neighborhood tom cat ~~ finally coming to us with a badly broken front tooth which LRAH handled along with his neutering). The whole staff, vets, techs, etc., have been compassionate, caring, and ready to help. Our last rescue, Simon, was in last week to be neutered and have the mouth/lip injuries caused by a possible toss from a car window repaired.
