Doesn't deserve ONE star. Made an appointment via phone to have x-rays done on my working dog. I was giving an appointment for a Friday. This appointment was canceled by the clinic and re-scheduled for a Thursday the following week with the statement we dont do x-Rays on Fridays. I arrived on Thursday to have the work done and waited for 1 hour in a room with no AC. The receptionist had no clue why we where here, the vet tech had no idea why we were here nor did the Vet. We waited for 1 hour in a HOT room and only after we complained we were seen by the Vet with the statement that he doesnt do x-rays on Thursday and that I have an aggressive dog that I am unable to handle. This is an absolute outrage! Needless to say I told him that his office staff scheduled this and that his comments are rude and not welcome and false. Working dog people: I would NOT recommend this VET. I wasted 3 hours of my time in addition of being insulted. Beware!! Read Less

After spending hours at the Humane Society Clinic and being told they were too behind to take us, we decided not to go back for my pooch's vet needs (although I totally still support their mission!). We instead called Barsch. They were able to schedule us a few days later, and the best part? We could walk to get there! The check in area is a bit frenzied and there is a constant feeling of being in the way when other animals come in which can make you feel a bit anxious (only reason I gave 4 stars). Dr Barsch and his team are very nice, knowledgeable, and treat your pet like their own. The prices seem reasonable and they give great suggestions on health maintenance and promotion. This is an exceptional place, from the front desk, to the techs to Dr. Barsch himself, I am overwhelmingly thankful for the care they all provided not only my baby, yet the comfort they also gave to me! They were knowledgeable, kind and very caring! Above and beyond to the point of coming into the clinic to provide LuLu with medicine during closed hours! been taking my animals to dr. barsch since mid 2000s. he has treated 5 of my animals. he is very knowledgeable, conservative in treatment, gives thorough explanations, doesn't push treatments, reasonably priced, attentive, compassionate, etc. he is so good that even though we moved to melbourne from tampa, we will continue to take our fur babies to him. one of our cats recently and suddenly got very ill. we took her to a local vet who was HORRIBLE to us. i ended up faxing all the test results to dr. barsch, he reviewed & called me, and told me what was going on with our cat, prescribed an additional med that should have been prescribed by local vet, and our cat is doing much better. i highly recommend him. We have four cats in our house. No, I am not a crazy cat guy... You have to have a minimum of five for that...You can imagine how many times we visit the vet in a year. We went to many different vets trying to find the right one...This one was costly, this one was mean, etc.Dr. Barsch and his team are just right. They are friendly, they know our pets by name and they don't rush us through the visit. Best of all, a lot of clinics are corporate owned and their main goal is to push products on you that your pet may or may not even need. Dr. Barsch gets to the issue at hand and makes diagnosis that is best for the furbaby/wing baby/scale baby etc... Not for what may be good for the bottom line.If you have pets, you owe it to them...and yourself to visit Barsch Animal Clinic. If you don't, then who really is the crazy pet owner?! Read Less

I have been taking my dogs here for over a decade now. Friendly staff and a great Vet. and they are very reasonable on pricing. The only tiny smear is that they can get caught with too many patients and over promise on time/availablity of medicine. Read Less

My mugs dr. barsch and his staff!!!! Love them and wouldn't take him anywhere else. We also board him here too and one time they were full so I had to make other arrangements and lets just say when I picked mugs up from the "other" place he was NOT happy!!! Read Less

There is lots of staff turn over and there is bad attitudes with staff. I do not recommend, nor would I trust my pet going there. There are other veterinarian's offices out there that are managed much more efficiently, with cheerful attitudes, and with much more common sense.Read Less

Dr. Was on point with what was wrong with our 7 month old puppy. The visit was very affordable compared to others around. He wasn't with testing that wasn't needed. He didn't push for extra test like other clinics. Hes staff was quite no problems. We will be seeing him from now on. Read Less
