Dr. Morgan has been our vet for over a dozen years. My large breed (Great Dane) lived to be 12 years old because of the amazing care he got at Baycrest. I just recently moved to tampa and i began my search for a local vet and of course i pretty much looked based on location and reviews. Well i lucked out on my first try. They were amazing and clearly love pets and genuinely care for their well being. I typically ask a lot of questions and sometimes people get annoyed and neither Dr. Morgan, the tech or front desk ever showed no interest in helping. I went on a 1$ first time visit so I'm not sure what their prices are but I'd pay good money for their services.My yorkie was nervous and they played with her on the floor and made her comfortable.Without a doubt we have found a long term vet! Andrea is wonderful. When my dog Al's heart disease had a flare up, he wasn't doing so hot. She was able to prescribe the correct medication to help get it quickly under control. 2 days later he's feeling much better. Thank you Baycrest AH for prolonging the life of my best friend Read Less

I've never been to a Vet that shows so much love to all animals! Every employee is wonderful in this facility. They all show so much love to my puppy Cocco & has helped me in so many ways to help raise my puppy. Every time I bring Cocco, they show him so much love! My first time as a new patient, I was told the office visit can cost nearly $200.00 with all procedures my puppy needed, I explained that I only had $120.00 & sure enough they worked with me leaving my visit at $120.00. Wonderful staff, I enjoy bringing my puppy in to seeing everyone here. I recommend this place to everyone I know that has animals. I always refer everyone here. I am new in the area.  This vet is a mile from my home.  I took my cat there because he had diarrhea and vomiting.  They checked him, did blood, urine and X-rays.  I did not get an actual clear diagnosis from the vet.  They gave me some prescriptions and sent him home.  That was around $600.Two weeks later my cat was still not eating and very sick.  I went back and they decided to do all the tests they had done before once again.  Then they ordered a sonogram and biopsies, which they quoted me for $350 and charged me $475.   Over an additional thousand dollars later, today I called to get the results from the tests and the vet waited until the end of the day to return my call.  Now they tell me they recommend doing the biopsies again...I am extremely disappointed with this facility.  I am beginning to think they really just like my money.After this ordeal is over I am taking my cats elsewhere. 2 stars = not impressed and you can find much better.  New to the area and brought our two dogs here.  I will say that I think Dr Morgan is competent, capable, and thorough.  However, the rest of the staff I felt was very unprofessional...both in appearance and customer service.  The front desk customer service is almost nonexistent and need of an overhaul (sorry, I can tell she means well but wow is it bad!).  There is also no time management.  20-30 minute waits for pre-scheduled appointments should be the exception and not the norm.  Although we don't expect a modern/fancy facility, we were surprised at how dated and dirty it was.  Dr Morgan is very sweet but we'll be going elsewhere in the future. Decided to tell a loyal customer's diabetic dog depending on full care for him that he had to wait four days in the case of an emergency. They seem to be nice people but when push comes to shove they act like they are brainless. Read Less

Baycrest Animal Clinic is the best!! Their love of animals is so evident from the moment we walk into the door and are greeted by the wonderful admin staff and techs, to the way Dr. Morgan loves up my dog on the floor for 10 minutes before acknowledging me. (Wonderful!) They are in business for the right reasons (animal welfare 1st), their prices are reasonable and they are well-versed on the latest medical treatments. The facility is great- equipped with everything necessary in terms of lab testing, pharmacy, specialty pet food, etc. My new kitten has been having some gastrointestinal issues and the vet thoroughly examined him to start the process of determining the problem. He was able to to get antibiotics, probiotic supplements and special food for GI help all right there for fairly reasonable prices. The facility has a tv with the news in the waiting room along with coffee for customers.The only downfall on my Saturday appointment was that I think they were behind. I waited a full 30 minutes to be seen for my pre-scheduled appointment. They may just be very busy on Saturdays.Overall though, the staff was great with my cats and with explaining to me the next steps for making sure they are both healthy. Read Less

We've used this vet for many years and they have always provide a caring environment for our pets. They DO try to nickel and dime you with added fees and charges. Recently we took our cat in for the onset of an upper respiratory infection. They refused to offer any medication because he wasn't "sick enough" but scheduled a follow up appointment so that they could prescribe some antibiotics at that time. He also had an issue with his eye watering with some discharge and we noticed that they put an expired product in his eye. When we called them out on it, all they did was thank us for pointing this out and still charged us $26 even though the product was expired. No apology, no compensation.Read Less

Wow! It is so wonderful to finally find a vet clinic that my pets love to go to. The staff at Baycrest were amazing. From the first time calling making an appointment they showed they truly cared about me and my pets. The doctor was down to earth and explained things that made it easy to understand. Even though they were extremely busy, the doctors and techs took the time to discuss and answer all of my many concerns and questions. I would highly recommend this clinic hands down to any and all of my friends. Read Less

I dropped him off before work and left him with Dr. Morgan all day only to have her send him home with me, telling me she didn't see anything wrong with him. I immediately could tell he still wasn't ok and brought him back the very next day only to have her clinic send him home once again after another full day.After a few more days I decided to take him to another Vet and after only an hour they rushed him into surgery. He ended up having a large tumor in his intestines.I immediately call Dr. Morgan and requested that she refund my money, over $500, mainly due to her misdiagnosis of my dog and the extra pain he had to endure. Not to mention that half of the money was due to me having to bring him back the 2nd day for nothing. She said she did nothing wrong and refused to do anything. I refuted the charge with AMEX but she rebutted it and was still able to keep my money. In my opinion she either doesn't know what she is doing or she only cares about the money (Maybe a little of both). Read Less

We have 3 dogs and all three of them have been going to Baycrest for years. Dr.Morgan and Dr. Saunders truly LOVE animals and want the best for all my dogs. I don't ever feel like that I am paying more than what I need to be and they are always so patient even with my 2 little fiesty ones. They have great people skills and the entire staff is very friendly. I have even used one of their vet techs for dog walking services. I will not go to any other place because I know this is the BEST clinic for my babies. Read Less

Doctors are nice, staff could be more professional. My biggest gripe with this Vet is their lack of service skills. I have been here about 4 times in the 2 years i've had my dog. I get her yearly shots done at the ACT . I only take my dog to the vet on a need to basis.  the past 2 times I was here , I felt i was being "taxed" on my bill and services , since i'm not the office much. My last visit was for a rip she did on her paw. We went in about 2weeks after it occurred to make sure it was healing correctly, doc said it was, gave me a prescription for anti inflammatory ($20).( later found out I could have gotten this from free if they would have called it into Publix pharmacy)  I paid and left with a recheck appt set for 10 days. I returned 10days later and was told I would have to pay $45 for the exam fee. ( rechecks are normally $25) When I inquired about the change of rate, the receptionist said it wasn't considered a recheck exam since they would have to evaluate the paw. (You mean, they'll have to RECHECK THE PAW ??)  I asked if the tech would be able to glance at it really fast and make sure it had healed properly.  With a big sigh and a roll of the eyes she stopped a tech , who was obviously busy, and had her look at it in the front lobby. The tech didn't even pick up her paw to really look at it and told the receptionist to set an appt. for surgery!    I was quoted $350. to remove the little piece that was left from healing.  I asked for a print of the cost and was simply told No. I left . no money paid , no doctor seen. I went home and set an appt with a vet not to far from my house.  We went, He examined her paw and it said , its healed , let her have a play date. It 'll come off on its own. He was right .  I now have a new vet who thinks on that "farmer" level . Read Less

Always genuine and courteous. We've been bringing our animals to Baycrest Animal Clinic since 1993. We have always been very satisfied with the staff and facilities. It is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The techs are always very knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Doctor Morgan is by far one of the best Veterinarians I have been to in Tampa. Prices are reasonable and scheduling is quick. I recommend Baycrest Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a vet's office that genuinely cares about each and every pet they see. Read Less

I've been taking my dog to Baycrest since we moved here about a year ago. It was rough at first, because my dog hates vets -- but they were all incredibly patient with him. Dr Morgan takes the time to work with him to make him calmer, and the staff all know his name and make a big fuss over him. When he had a bad sore on his foot that wouldn't heal with meds or ointments, she was willing to try alternative treatment -- and ended up healing it with laser therapy! And now that they're open for 24-hour emergency care, it's a huge relief -- because all of the other e-vets are very far away from this area. I have been going to Baycrest for several years now...they took very gentle care with my pomeranian when she was passing away & since then, my other 2 dogs as well...Dr. Morgan is one of the best vets I have ever had the pleasure of working with...she is TRULY an animal lover & promotes rehab instead of "putting-down" an animal...the front office staff is attentice & ALWAYS worked me in!~Kathy Read Less
