Hello there from Country Oaks Animal Hospital. Our goal here is to make sure your beloved family member is healthy and strong. Our wonderful, one and only Doctor N. Sorsok has been practicing for over 30 years. Our services include boarding, yearly vaccinations, and emergency help if your pet is not feeling 100%. Also, if your pet needs spa day we offer bathing and nail trims. Come down and see us today.

Dr. Sorsok, D.V.M. has been taking care of The Doxie Six for a few years now. His staff, Rachael and Gigi, are always helpful and patient, with the fur babies, in assisting him. This visit was time for the boys to get their bordatella shots and dental cleanings. I am always anxious when they have to go under anethesia, but I realize it's necessary for the procedure. They were brought in first thing in the morning, given their kisses with, "Be back this afternoon" reassurances, and placed in their holding crates.Later that day, they were picked up, with a total of 13 less teeth :-( and meds to administer for pain and antibiotics.The two that had extractions seem to be doing well. Thanks to Dr. Sorsok and his staff, the boys have fresh breath and they're probably enjoying their food better these days.

Forever indebted to Dr. Sorsok for discovering the root of my darling cat's symptoms. I was told my cat had anxiety as the reason behind the change in her behavior. When symptoms had not resolved, I took her to Country Oaks after my former vet recommend I re-do approx $250 blood work in a difference of one months time. Dr. Sorsok recommended diagnostics that had not been suggested by the previous vet and prescribed medication to treat her health issue. 2 months from our first visit and she is back to her normal self and not exhibiting the signs of pain I now know to look for. Incredibly thankful for every additional day I have with my lovable animal because of this veterinarian. I have much respect for his expertise!

Absolutely amazing experience. I was greeted when I walked in the door and was immediately taken to the examination room. The staff took time to let the cat warm up to to them as he's a little shy. We were in and out within 45 minutes for a checkup including same day fecal test results and his yearly vaccinations. Further, this vet has a great reputation of having fair prices, they earned a customer for life today!

Many times, I have had to show up unannounced or on short notice. My pet family means the world to me and it's obvious that my vet & his staff cares for their well being. We actually recently this week took our last fur friend "Peanut" Shi tzu of 13 years to him because our local BANFIELD hospital wouldn't do anything to help. Dr. Sorsok took him in and gave it his all to save our baby all thru the weekend. Unfortunately, it was just too late and he passed. Dr. Sorsok is the most compassionate Vet. you will ever meet. Saturday 8/19 was Fudo's first visit ever for his rabies and 5way. Dr. S gave his a thorough exam of bone structure with flying colors. Examination of teeth revealed a thorough cleaning and two extraction necessary. My 7 year old Pekingese is doing well. The office staff was friendly and Rachelle was a doll. My family and I have taken our pets to Dr. Sorsok at Country Oaks Animal Hospital for 25 years. Dr. Sorsok and his staff are highly knowledgeable and nurturing people who love what they do. They took care of our dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed, and my family could not be more grateful for the superb veterinary care they received. The prices are also very reasonable! I highly recommend this veterinary office.

Spoke with vet on phone prior to taking my cat in for a tooth advised them I didn't want him to have any additional shot's he's a 13 YO indoor cat with a history of rabies and distemper shots. They agreed that additional shots would not be needed and when I took him in this morning they then said they wanted to give him shots and charge me an extra $95. So they clearly are all about money. The receptionist tried to tell me it's Hillsborough County regulations for cats, only dogs are required to have shots in this county. They wasted my time and added stress to my cat because he doesn't ride well in the car. Why is it so hard to find a vet that doesn't want to nickel and dime you and fill your animal with unnecessary vaccinations that can cause cancers??

The best veterinarian; the best! Started going there over 15 years ago, when his office was on Hillsborough Ave. I was a distraught walk-in at 5:30 pm on a Friday; I thought my bff was dying. He did blood work and gave me antibiotics ($40) and sent us home. Saturday morning, he called with the results, and no follow up necessary. I was prepared to pay A LOT more. I recently moved across town and went to a different vet closer to my new home. I did that once, and now I make the long drive if needed. It is well worth it to receive quality care. He is a very smart and caring man. They put your animal's well being before $$, and that is hard to find these days!!

We have used them for over 15 years and have NEVER had any issues. I remember 1 time like 4 years ago, there was a stray kitten by office work. Icalled Country Oaks and asked if they could house him(It was a Friday afternoon). They did, no questions. They bathed him, fed him and housed him until Monday when we were able to find the new kitty a home..

I have lived in Tampa for my entire life. I had taken my dog to vets in Tampa, Brandon and even Palm Harbor to find one that was caring and attentive with my dog but also reasonably priced. After I attended Country Oaks - my search stopped. The prices are more than fair, the vet is fantastic with my dog and getting an appointment there takes less than two minutes. This vet has patiently answered every silly question that I have ever had and he has even helped me financially (I attend USF full time/work full time). He has given me two free bags of dog food, shampoo and once my dog got an ear infection - he discounted the medicine for us. He works with you so that your dog receives the best care possible. Absolutely brilliant.

Dr. Sorsok has taken great care of us thru all our dogs and puppies for almost 20 years now. We moved out to Wesley Chapel 16 years ago but always take the drive to him. We actually recently this week took our last fur friend "Peanut" Shi tzu of 13 years to him because our local BANFIELD hospital wouldn't do anything to help. Dr. Sorsok took him in and gave it his all to save our baby all thru the weekend. Unfortunately, it was just too late and he passed. Dr. Sorsok is the most compassionate Vet. you will ever meet. I highly recommend him to all. Thank you Dr. Sorsok, we love you

Saturday 8/19 was Fudo's first visit ever for his rabies and 5way. Dr. S gave his a thorough exam of bone structure with flying colors. Examination of teeth revealed a thorough cleaning and two extraction necessary. My 7 year old Pekingese is doing well. The office staff was friendly and Rachelle was a doll. Thank you Doc for taking care of my boy, my BFF. BTW, the office was very very clean.

We've been taking our four cats and dogs there for years now. Awesome staff, awesome veterinarian. They take care to examine and treat compassionately even though our cats are rescue ferals and difficult to deal with. Our dog is a nervous ninny yet is mostly calm around this great group.

My family and I have taken our pets to Dr. Sorsok at Country Oaks Animal Hospital for 25 years. Dr. Sorsok and his staff are highly knowledgeable and nurturing people who love what they do. They took care of our dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed, and my family could not be more grateful for the superb veterinary care they received. The prices are also very reasonable! I highly recommend this veterinary office.

Spoke with vet on phone prior to taking my cat in for a tooth advised them I didn't want him to have any additional shot's he's a 13 YO indoor cat with a history of rabies and distemper shots. They agreed that additional shots would not be needed and when I took him in this morning they then said they wanted to give him shots and charge me an extra $95. So they clearly are all about money. The receptionist tried to tell me it's Hillsborough County regulations for cats, only dogs are required to have shots in this county. They wasted my time and added stress to my cat because he doesn't ride well in the car. Why is it so hard to find a vet that doesn't want to nickel and dime you and fill your animal with unnecessary vaccinations that can cause cancers??

The best veterinarian; the best! Started going there over 15 years ago, when his office was on Hillsborough Ave. I was a distraught walk-in at 5:30 pm on a Friday; I thought my bff was dying. He did blood work and gave me antibiotics ($40) and sent us home. Saturday morning, he called with the results, and no follow up necessary. I was prepared to pay A LOT more. I recently moved across town and went to a different vet closer to my new home. I did that once, and now I make the long drive if needed. It is well worth it to receive quality care. He is a very smart and caring man. They put your animal's well being before $$, and that is hard to find these days!!

We have used them for over 15 years and have NEVER had any issues. I remember 1 time like 4 years ago, there was a stray kitten by office work. Icalled Country Oaks and asked if they could house him(It was a Friday afternoon). They did, no questions. They bathed him, fed him and housed him until Monday when we were able to find the new kitty a home..

I have lived in Tampa for my entire life. I had taken my dog to vets in Tampa, Brandon and even Palm Harbor to find one that was caring and attentive with my dog but also reasonably priced. After I attended Country Oaks - my search stopped. The prices are more than fair, the vet is fantastic with my dog and getting an appointment there takes less than two minutes. This vet has patiently answered every silly question that I have ever had and he has even helped me financially (I attend USF full time/work full time). He has given me two free bags of dog food, shampoo and once my dog got an ear infection - he discounted the medicine for us. He works with you so that your dog receives the best care possible. Absolutely brilliant.
