Amazing staff! They go above and beyond I was truly impressed! First they are the only vets I could find that agree to do international Health certificates in Tampa Bay and that send them electronically to the USDA without telling you to go through a pet transporter (which costs way more than if you do it yourself, I only used a transporter in miami for the ticket and loading on plane they were amazing too: peace of mind pet resort and shipping 100% recommend them as well).Then, they check up on the USDA application to make sure it goes through and is taken care off. Finally the USDA is short staffed, since covid plus there was a Monday of holiday day so the UsDA was closed and they screwed up and missed my deadline despite Preston the practice manager calling them everyday reminding them! Despite this, Preston spent the whole day calling them, trying to reach them two days in a row to get me the health certificate on time, on the day of my cats departure I still didn’t have the certificate endorsed and had to drive the cats to miami for their flight, Preston ahead of everything suggested I pick up the original signed health document before I go just in case the USDA vet in Miami agrees to endorse it that day and needs the original, thank god she did because it is the first thing that vet asked and my cats were able to take their flight as planned on time. They were amazing, I had already paid everything and Preston had no added value in giving her all to help me out, they have an amazing work ethic and I absolutely recommend them! They are quick, effective, careful with the pets and very helpful!

My wife and I love Hyde Park Vet! We've been taking our golden retriever puppy Turtle here for the past two months and they've been nothing but helpful and kind. We even had a big complication with some socks and they were alongside us the whole time and kept us calm and secure. I'd definitely recommend taking your pet here!

Found a street parking spot right in front and whisked my cat in for her first appointment there.Nice space with some fun animal-oriented art on the walls and three cats that apparently live there and seem quite content.The exam room was clean and comfortable and the vet was extremely friendly and helpful. She really listened to my questions and concerns and was quite gentle with my pet.I never felt like they were pushing or pressuring me for any unnecessary tests or shots. They really seemed to have my cat's best interest in mind.I hope I only have to take my cat there for routine visits such as shots to keep her up-to-date. But if she ever needs additional medical treatment, I feel confident she will be well cared for here.

The doctors are nice as well as the techs; front office needs some training in being courteous and the use of the words I'm sorry or let me look in to this in lieu of being argumentative and blaming the customer "we have had several owners misunderstand their is an additional charge". I will be looking for a new care giver/ veterinarian for my lab. :(

Having just moved to the area we were a little bummed to have to switch vets, but we are so happy to have our fur baby under the care of these folks! Always accommodating, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to provide all of the information they can to help make the most informed decision(s). Both veterinarians are extremely sweet and helpful and are willing to spend all the time they need in the exam room- no rushing. The facility is older but very clean and tidy and seems to be run on time (with the obvious exception of emergencies). The entire experience each time we have visited has been a positive one.. very grateful to have found this place right off the bat!

We can not say enough good things about Dr. Muller and Dr. Harper. They love our dogs like they are their own. Not concerning themselves about money, our previous dog had severe allergies but they controlled her allergies with diet instead of steroids and allergy shots. The office staff is very patient and efficient answering all of our questions running on time. You will be very pleased with the care for you and your pets.

Our dogs have a situation where they live basically 50% in Tampa and 50% in North Carolina. Regardless, we ensure they always have Rabies vaccine AND tag whether it be Hillsborough County or the county in NC. We even have the tag receipts to prove it. Now we recently transferred to this vet as the previous one we went too was about 45m drive. We had a dog who needed annual but decided to get both checked and "synced" for annual schedules. Well one of the dog's rabies tag was from NC, still active, but we figured to switch and renew to a tag for Hillsborough. This vet took $20 and only altered the tag, so now I am due another $20 when it has only been 6 months! This dog has a 3yr rabies vaccine. Albeit $20 is a small amount, this "fee" is ridiculous even though they were aware of the situation. My previous vet didn't even charge us for a Hillsborough tag so long as the NC one was valid because of the situation. Very disappointed, it feels like a scam. Considering the 45m drive again due to this first time visit.

She was spayed, went to regular check ups, rabies & flu vaccination, & I received my monthly preventatives from them. Everyone was so friendly & did everything to make my pup feel comfortable. They were available to answer any questions or concerns I had throughout my time living in Hyde Park. I would highly recommend if your looking for a Vet that understands your furry friend is family!

I can’t recommend Hyde Park Vet enough. All the staff are wonderful but a special moment I have to take for Preston who helped me out start to end on my move of my dog Grover back to Australia. They helped me out at every point and worked very closely with both me and my mover to make sure everything was done to minimise Grovers time in Quarantine. Hyde Park were also our day to day vets and they were so helpful offering anaesthetic free teeth cleaning, when Grover hurt his back immediate pain relief with both meds and laser treatment they really are wonderful.

Definitely better vets out there which is why I decided to switch. Waited far too long for the empty waiting room I walked into. Although everyone at the front desk as well as all of the vet technicians were great, the actual vet who helped lacked the characteristics I would expect from someone in the profession. Definitely caught vibes of annoyance with every question I had about the (very questionable) treatment he was insisting on. Overall I did not feel satisfied with my experience here and would recommend checking out others before settling.

My Mother first started taking her pets to Hyde Park Clinic, then I followed up with her pets when she had a stroke and I began to take care of her 7 pets plus mine. My dog Vinci began to not be able to walk one day, I took him in and Dr. Harper said to leave him for observation. Later she called me and told me he was worse and I must get him to the emergency surgery clinic on Bush. He had a ruptured disc that required surgery to save him from being paralyzed. After the surgery and therapy my two year old Vinci was able to walk again. He is now 11 and doing fine. I will always be thankful for Dr. Harper's quick thinking and expert advice. Both Doctor Harper's are dedicated wonderful people. The staff is compassionate, kind and friendly. I have had lifetime of love from Vinci because of Hyde Park Veterinary.

With his condition, there will be much trial and error, and they have done such a great job of answering our questions and making adjustments as needed. We just went to Hyde Park Vet Clinic for the first time this past week, and I was beyond impressed with the service we received, as well as the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the facility. We have a brand new puppy, and he was treated wonderfully. They practice a low stress environment, and that helped to put myself and Gizmo at ease. His vaccines were quick and painless, and they had the results of some tests done the next day, and Dr. Melissa called to give us the news! Thank you Dr. Melissa and all the other staff at the clinic for a great first visit, and we will most definitely be back!

I'm happy to say we have found a fantastic vet who cares for my dog as if it were their own pet. The staff is great and very friendly. Always greets my dog as well. They call and check up on your pet after any procedure. The staff is very patient and respects if your pet has quirks. I would highly recommend Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic.

Pros: the front office was great and very friendly when I called to schedule my appt. I had an early appt so it wasn't a zoo like some of the other vets. Cons: Dr Harper/Jensen lacked personality, warmth and compassion. I would never take my dog/s to see her again. I went because my dog was symptomatic and I needed an opinion and she totally dismissed my concerns and made me feel almost silly for bringing her in. I told her I felt like I didn't have any answers since the blood work was normal yet she was still symptomatic and in an unfriendly tone she said "you have a lot of answers." I know my dog and what she's doing certainly isn't normal for her. For being the vet owner and dealing with pets, I expected a lot more from her! Disappointed!

My dog has been treated by three of the vets here. All have been wonderful. Very knowledgeable, thorough & explain all treatment options in simple to understand terms but plenty of detail. My dog has some issues & isn't easy to manage @ vet. They are very patient w/ him & do an excellent job with him. They don't stress him out like has happened other places. Very clean comfortable office & haven't ever had an issue getting an appointment when needed. Haven't ever had to wait in waiting room for more than 5 minutes either. Everyone in the office vets, front desk & vet techs are super nice. Highly recommend.

I think this is the only place I have ever given 5 stars on my first visit, and is hard not to do it! I have an English bulldog and this type of dogs have several health issues, therefore they can be very expensive to keep them healthy. For this reason I took her to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay where they complicated even more some of her issues, I'm not sure if they were practitioners but anyway I did a research and the ONLY vet clinic in town specialized in Bulldogs is Hyde Park Animal Clinic, I didn't want to go there because I thought being it located in the heart of south tampa it will be the most expensive place ever. After trying many vets And not getting any effective help I decided to go to HPAC, omg! I love them so much, they treat every animal as a new born human baby, they are extremely sweet at the point that you think (this is going to be even expensier than what I could imagine) well! NOT AT ALL, while I paid at HSTB 300$ for eye exam and treatment at HPAC I paid 380$ and they treated her for ALL her issues, including medicine from december to march! They also cut her nails and put the microchip, this people and this place is just the best!

Awesome vets who work with you and caring, responsive staff. Hands down the best vet we have ever been to. We just went there on Wednesday (it's now Saturday) and they not only helped our sand eater feel better from her beach trip, they made sure her first visit to their clinic was memorable. We are new to the area and they made sure we received the knowledge and resources we needed to care for our little Zoe. We reviewed follow up calls, and even thank you note from her first visit. Not to mentioned the happy birthday email. The service is incredible, and the follow up even better. We will trust no once else for our beloved Zoe's care. Hyde Park vet rocks!!!

I picked this spot for convenience. I live two blocks over and I really loved the idea of a neighborhood vet. I could not be happier. During a visit it is clear that they value the trust we give them with the health of our pet. I was a first time dog owner when I went in and I felt complete confidence as I left. So far my boy is just under a year so his visits are not so intense. So if you live in the area and don't want to drive north of Swann or Kennedy then this is a good place.

My dog Nas has a lengthy health history, and has been a patient of Dr Muellers for almost 10 yrs. A few years ago we moved, changed vets and recently ended up coming back (over an hour drive). Almost 2 weeks ago Nas underwent surgery at HPVC (anyone who knows his history, knows what a big deal this was for me) and everything went fabulous! I want to say a very special thank you to Dr Mueller- I wouldn't have done that surgery had you not been in the OR working on him!! No clinic or doctors compare to those at Hyde Park Vet!! I switched to Hyde Park Vet a few weeks ago and brought in my Siamese, Pascal, for a routine exam. The office staff is extremely friendly, as is the vet techs/veterinarian. They are very knowledgable and I can tell they genuinely care about each pet brought into the clinic. They were so sweet to my cat. I just received a hand written card in the mail from them. They really went above and beyond to make Pascal & I feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this clinic!

Our Junebug had a persistent cough, and we had gotten a really nice letter from Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic for a FREE examination of a new pet. They are 6 doors from my house so we HAD to try them out, even though we had taken our Junebug to another vet for years. You can't walk-in there, which we tried....we came back two days later with an appointment. I wouldn't say the front staff is warm and friendly: they are more 'professional' than that. Junebug got her exam, they took her away for 2 minutes for tests. The vet was professional and knowledgeable, and she recommended $250 in tests to determine the nature of the cough. I have been taking my three dogs to Hyde Park Vet Clinic for years and I have always loved this place, but recently they really went the extra mile for me and I can't stop telling this story. One of my dogs was really sick and they waited for me after their closing time and examined my dog. She needed to go to the specialist right away and Dr. Harper called and arranged everything, helped me load my sick dog into my car and really helped reassure me because I was so upset. While I was waiting at the emergency place for my dog to come out of surgery close to midnight, I heard them page that Dr. Harper was calling to check on my dog. I couldn't believe that she was calling there to check on my dog in the middle of the night! My dog made a speedy recovery and I am so thankful to have such a caring vet looking out for me and my dogs.

After relocating back to Tampa, I was concerned that I wasn't going to be able to find a vet that was going to give me the level of service and care that I was accustom to. Not only has Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic surpassed my greatest expectations, they have by far been the best clinic I have EVER experienced!! I have 2 dogs and a cat that are really like our children. So finding a clinic where the vets are excellent, caring and professional and a staff that is knowledgeable and courteous has been a complete joy! Please look no further for the best Veterinary clinic in Tampa! Once you go and meet the vets and staff at their clean and equipped facility I believe you will share in my enthusiasm as well as being completely satisfied!!

Hyde Park Veternary Clinic is fine for routine pet services. For the initial check up and follow up immediately after my cat had surgery, the service was fine. However, within the week after surgery, my cat was having problems with diarrhea from the pain medication and nausea from the oral antibiotic and kept vomiting. I left 3 messages with the vet clinic staff asking for guidance and never received a call back. I was told that the doctor would call me back when she had time. I have since switched vet clinics and will never go back. In addition, I noticed that the staff did not wipe down the counters after each pet examination which brings up concerns of cross contamination. The new clinic (Cat Doctors) immediately diagnosed dehydration and usually administer a single shot of antibiotic which would have saved me, my cat and my carpet a lot of heartache.

I have had many pets over the years and have had my pets at various clinics throughout Tampa Bay. Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is by far the best experiences I have ever had. From the moment you walk into the clinic, you feel comfortable as you are greeted by the best customer service I have seen in a long time. It isnt like most vets where they are loud and nasty with animals urinating in the corners while their owners pay no attention. I never have to wait for my appointments. They have always been on time for me. The doctors and staff make you feel confident in their care. They are friendly and take the time to make you understand how your pet is feeling and the needs your pet may have. My pets deserve the best and Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is where they receive the best care. I recommend this Clinic without any hesitation.

Not only is the clinic super clean, and well maintained, but Dr Harper and Dr Muller are awesome! They take the time you and your pet deserve to make sure that you feel comfortable and your pet is well taken care of. The staff members at the clinic are very friendly and professional. The thing most people don't understand is that, if you bring a pet in for something other than vaccines and then bring a pet back another day for vaccines, the vets HAVE to do a new exam. They are making sure the pet is healthy enough to get the vaccines, because they had a health issue the last time they were seen. We do this in people medicine, too. I like that my pet gets thorough exams before vaccines; if they were running a fever or something, it wouldn't be safe to give vaccines. I think the Hyde Park vets are conscientious and caring and practice excellent medicine.

I am so very thankful to Dr. Melissa Mueller and the Hyde Park Veterinary staff! My little girl Nellie was found after being abandoned with an injured leg. The staff flooded this little stray with love and care like nothing I?ve ever seen before. It?s clear that they all chose this profession for their true love of animals! Her injuries were so severe that Dr. Mueller had to amputate her leg, but thanks to all of their wonderful care, she is a happy, healthy girl with a forever home. Thank you Hyde Park for giving her a second chance at life and me a loving family member!

Amazing staff! They go above and beyond I was truly impressed! First they are the only vets I could find that agree to do international Health certificates in Tampa Bay and that send them electronically to the USDA without telling you to go through a pet transporter (which costs way more than if you do it yourself, I only used a transporter in miami for the ticket and loading on plane they were amazing too: peace of mind pet resort and shipping 100% recommend them as well).Then, they check up on the USDA application to make sure it goes through and is taken care off. Finally the USDA is short staffed, since covid plus there was a Monday of holiday day so the UsDA was closed and they screwed up and missed my deadline despite Preston the practice manager calling them everyday reminding them! Despite this, Preston spent the whole day calling them, trying to reach them two days in a row to get me the health certificate on time, on the day of my cats departure I still didn’t have the certificate endorsed and had to drive the cats to miami for their flight, Preston ahead of everything suggested I pick up the original signed health document before I go just in case the USDA vet in Miami agrees to endorse it that day and needs the original, thank god she did because it is the first thing that vet asked and my cats were able to take their flight as planned on time. They were amazing, I had already paid everything and Preston had no added value in giving her all to help me out, they have an amazing work ethic and I absolutely recommend them! They are quick, effective, careful with the pets and very helpful!

Found a street parking spot right in front and whisked my cat in for her first appointment there.Nice space with some fun animal-oriented art on the walls and three cats that apparently live there and seem quite content.The exam room was clean and comfortable and the vet was extremely friendly and helpful. She really listened to my questions and concerns and was quite gentle with my pet.I never felt like they were pushing or pressuring me for any unnecessary tests or shots. They really seemed to have my cat's best interest in mind.I hope I only have to take my cat there for routine visits such as shots to keep her up-to-date. But if she ever needs additional medical treatment, I feel confident she will be well cared for here.

Having just moved to the area we were a little bummed to have to switch vets, but we are so happy to have our fur baby under the care of these folks! Always accommodating, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to provide all of the information they can to help make the most informed decision(s). Both veterinarians are extremely sweet and helpful and are willing to spend all the time they need in the exam room- no rushing. The facility is older but very clean and tidy and seems to be run on time (with the obvious exception of emergencies). The entire experience each time we have visited has been a positive one.. very grateful to have found this place right off the bat!

Not concerning themselves about money, our previous dog had severe allergies but they controlled her allergies with diet instead of steroids and allergy shots. The office staff is very patient and efficient answering all of our questions running on time. You will be very pleased with the care for you and your pets.

Our dogs have a situation where they live basically 50% in Tampa and 50% in North Carolina. Regardless, we ensure they always have Rabies vaccine AND tag whether it be Hillsborough County or the county in NC. We even have the tag receipts to prove it. Now we recently transferred to this vet as the previous one we went too was about 45m drive. We had a dog who needed annual but decided to get both checked and "synced" for annual schedules. Well one of the dog's rabies tag was from NC, still active, but we figured to switch and renew to a tag for Hillsborough. This vet took $20 and only altered the tag, so now I am due another $20 when it has only been 6 months! This dog has a 3yr rabies vaccine. Albeit $20 is a small amount, this "fee" is ridiculous even though they were aware of the situation. My previous vet didn't even charge us for a Hillsborough tag so long as the NC one was valid because of the situation. Very disappointed, it feels like a scam. Considering the 45m drive again due to this first time visit.

They were available to answer any questions or concerns I had throughout my time living in Hyde Park. I would highly recommend if your looking for a Vet that understands your furry friend is family!

I can’t recommend Hyde Park Vet enough. All the staff are wonderful but a special moment I have to take for Preston who helped me out start to end on my move of my dog Grover back to Australia. They helped me out at every point and worked very closely with both me and my mover to make sure everything was done to minimise Grovers time in Quarantine. Hyde Park were also our day to day vets and they were so helpful offering anaesthetic free teeth cleaning, when Grover hurt his back immediate pain relief with both meds and laser treatment they really are wonderful.

Definitely better vets out there which is why I decided to switch. Waited far too long for the empty waiting room I walked into. Although everyone at the front desk as well as all of the vet technicians were great, the actual vet who helped lacked the characteristics I would expect from someone in the profession. Definitely caught vibes of annoyance with every question I had about the (very questionable) treatment he was insisting on. Overall I did not feel satisfied with my experience here and would recommend checking out others before settling.

My Mother first started taking her pets to Hyde Park Clinic, then I followed up with her pets when she had a stroke and I began to take care of her 7 pets plus mine. My dog Vinci began to not be able to walk one day, I took him in and Dr. Harper said to leave him for observation. Later she called me and told me he was worse and I must get him to the emergency surgery clinic on Bush. He had a ruptured disc that required surgery to save him from being paralyzed. After the surgery and therapy my two year old Vinci was able to walk again. He is now 11 and doing fine. I will always be thankful for Dr. Harper's quick thinking and expert advice. Both Doctor Harper's are dedicated wonderful people. The staff is compassionate, kind and friendly. I have had lifetime of love from Vinci because of Hyde Park Veterinary.

I wanted to take some time and write a review since the vets and office staff have been wonderful during our scary time recently with our pup. They helped us to diagnose what the issue was as quickly as they could, and immediately started trying to treat the issue. With his condition, there will be much trial and error, and they have done such a great job of answering our questions and making adjustments as needed. Our boy is the best he has ever been thanks to them. Great job!

We just went to Hyde Park Vet Clinic for the first time this past week, and I was beyond impressed with the service we received, as well as the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the facility. We have a brand new puppy, and he was treated wonderfully. They practice a low stress environment, and that helped to put myself and Gizmo at ease. His vaccines were quick and painless, and they had the results of some tests done the next day, and Dr. Melissa called to give us the news! Thank you Dr. Melissa and all the other staff at the clinic for a great first visit, and we will most definitely be back!

I moved to Florida a little over a year ago. I have gone to various vets around Tampa and hadn't found one neither my dog or I have cared for. I'm happy to say we have found a fantastic vet who cares for my dog as if it were their own pet. The staff is great and very friendly. Always greets my dog as well. They call and check up on your pet after any procedure. The staff is very patient and respects if your pet has quirks. I would highly recommend Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic.

Pros: the front office was great and very friendly when I called to schedule my appt. I had an early appt so it wasn't a zoo like some of the other vets. Cons: Dr Harper/Jensen lacked personality, warmth and compassion. I would never take my dog/s to see her again. I went because my dog was symptomatic and I needed an opinion and she totally dismissed my concerns and made me feel almost silly for bringing her in. I told her I felt like I didn't have any answers since the blood work was normal yet she was still symptomatic and in an unfriendly tone she said "you have a lot of answers." I know my dog and what she's doing certainly isn't normal for her. For being the vet owner and dealing with pets, I expected a lot more from her! Disappointed!

My dog has been treated by three of the vets here. All have been wonderful. Very knowledgeable, thorough & explain all treatment options in simple to understand terms but plenty of detail. My dog has some issues & isn't easy to manage @ vet. They are very patient w/ him & do an excellent job with him. They don't stress him out like has happened other places. Very clean comfortable office & haven't ever had an issue getting an appointment when needed. Haven't ever had to wait in waiting room for more than 5 minutes either. Everyone in the office vets, front desk & vet techs are super nice. Highly recommend.

I think this is the only place I have ever given 5 stars on my first visit, and is hard not to do it! I have an English bulldog and this type of dogs have several health issues, therefore they can be very expensive to keep them healthy. For this reason I took her to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay where they complicated even more some of her issues, I'm not sure if they were practitioners but anyway I did a research and the ONLY vet clinic in town specialized in Bulldogs is Hyde Park Animal Clinic, I didn't want to go there because I thought being it located in the heart of south tampa it will be the most expensive place ever. After trying many vets And not getting any effective help I decided to go to HPAC, omg! I love them so much, they treat every animal as a new born human baby, they are extremely sweet at the point that you think (this is going to be even expensier than what I could imagine) well! NOT AT ALL, while I paid at HSTB 300$ for eye exam and treatment at HPAC I paid 380$ and they treated her for ALL her issues, including medicine from december to march! They also cut her nails and put the microchip, this people and this place is just the best!

This group not only reminds me well in advance of Cassie's appointments, but do listen intently and address the concerns, from the receptionist up to the vet.

Awesome vets who work with you and caring, responsive staff. My dog gets very anxious at the vet and the staff have gone out of their way to make life easier for both of us, even giving her a shot outside one time when she was scared by the sounds of other dogs. It's a bit of a drive for me but it's well worth it for such excellent care.

Hands down the best vet we have ever been to. We just went there on Wednesday (it's now Saturday) and they not only helped our sand eater feel better from her beach trip, they made sure her first visit to their clinic was memorable. We are new to the area and they made sure we received the knowledge and resources we needed to care for our little Zoe. We reviewed follow up calls, and even thank you note from her first visit. Not to mentioned the happy birthday email. The service is incredible, and the follow up even better. We will trust no once else for our beloved Zoe's care. Hyde Park vet rocks!!!

I picked this spot for convenience. I live two blocks over and I really loved the idea of a neighborhood vet. I could not be happier. During a visit it is clear that they value the trust we give them with the health of our pet. I was a first time dog owner when I went in and I felt complete confidence as I left. So far my boy is just under a year so his visits are not so intense. So if you live in the area and don't want to drive north of Swann or Kennedy then this is a good place.

My dog Nas has a lengthy health history, and has been a patient of Dr Muellers for almost 10 yrs. A few years ago we moved, changed vets and recently ended up coming back (over an hour drive). Almost 2 weeks ago Nas underwent surgery at HPVC (anyone who knows his history, knows what a big deal this was for me) and everything went fabulous! I want to say a very special thank you to Dr Mueller- I wouldn't have done that surgery had you not been in the OR working on him!! No clinic or doctors compare to those at Hyde Park Vet!! I switched to Hyde Park Vet a few weeks ago and brought in my Siamese, Pascal, for a routine exam. The office staff is extremely friendly, as is the vet techs/veterinarian. They are very knowledgable and I can tell they genuinely care about each pet brought into the clinic. They were so sweet to my cat. I just received a hand written card in the mail from them. They really went above and beyond to make Pascal & I feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this clinic!

Our Junebug had a persistent cough, and we had gotten a really nice letter from Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic for a FREE examination of a new pet. They are 6 doors from my house so we HAD to try them out, even though we had taken our Junebug to another vet for years. You can't walk-in there, which we tried....we came back two days later with an appointment. I wouldn't say the front staff is warm and friendly: they are more 'professional' than that. Junebug got her exam, they took her away for 2 minutes for tests. The vet was professional and knowledgeable, and she recommended $250 in tests to determine the nature of the cough. As we were walking out, we were stopped to check out. The young male technician barked out "$71.65" with no explanation of the charges. I paid. And vowed not to come back. So, if you get a letter for a free examination, you've been warned.

I have been taking my three dogs to Hyde Park Vet Clinic for years and I have always loved this place, but recently they really went the extra mile for me and I can't stop telling this story. One of my dogs was really sick and they waited for me after their closing time and examined my dog. She needed to go to the specialist right away and Dr. Harper called and arranged everything, helped me load my sick dog into my car and really helped reassure me because I was so upset. While I was waiting at the emergency place for my dog to come out of surgery close to midnight, I heard them page that Dr. Harper was calling to check on my dog. I couldn't believe that she was calling there to check on my dog in the middle of the night! My dog made a speedy recovery and I am so thankful to have such a caring vet looking out for me and my dogs.

After relocating back to Tampa, I was concerned that I wasn't going to be able to find a vet that was going to give me the level of service and care that I was accustom to. Not only has Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic surpassed my greatest expectations, they have by far been the best clinic I have EVER experienced!! I have 2 dogs and a cat that are really like our children. So finding a clinic where the vets are excellent, caring and professional and a staff that is knowledgeable and courteous has been a complete joy! Please look no further for the best Veterinary clinic in Tampa! Once you go and meet the vets and staff at their clean and equipped facility I believe you will share in my enthusiasm as well as being completely satisfied!!

Hyde Park Veternary Clinic is fine for routine pet services. For the initial check up and follow up immediately after my cat had surgery, the service was fine. However, within the week after surgery, my cat was having problems with diarrhea from the pain medication and nausea from the oral antibiotic and kept vomiting. I left 3 messages with the vet clinic staff asking for guidance and never received a call back. I was told that the doctor would call me back when she had time. I have since switched vet clinics and will never go back. In addition, I noticed that the staff did not wipe down the counters after each pet examination which brings up concerns of cross contamination. The new clinic (Cat Doctors) immediately diagnosed dehydration and usually administer a single shot of antibiotic which would have saved me, my cat and my carpet a lot of heartache.

I have had many pets over the years and have had my pets at various clinics throughout Tampa Bay. Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is by far the best experiences I have ever had. From the moment you walk into the clinic, you feel comfortable as you are greeted by the best customer service I have seen in a long time. It isnt like most vets where they are loud and nasty with animals urinating in the corners while their owners pay no attention. I never have to wait for my appointments. They have always been on time for me. The doctors and staff make you feel confident in their care. They are friendly and take the time to make you understand how your pet is feeling and the needs your pet may have. My pets deserve the best and Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is where they receive the best care. I recommend this Clinic without any hesitation.

I've been a patron of The Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic for over two years and it's by far the best vet clinic I've been to. Not only is the clinic super clean, and well maintained, but Dr Harper and Dr Muller are awesome! They take the time you and your pet deserve to make sure that you feel comfortable and your pet is well taken care of. The staff members at the clinic are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place!!!

The thing most people don't understand is that, if you bring a pet in for something other than vaccines and then bring a pet back another day for vaccines, the vets HAVE to do a new exam. They are making sure the pet is healthy enough to get the vaccines, because they had a health issue the last time they were seen. We do this in people medicine, too. I like that my pet gets thorough exams before vaccines; if they were running a fever or something, it wouldn't be safe to give vaccines. I think the Hyde Park vets are conscientious and caring and practice excellent medicine.

I am so very thankful to Dr. Melissa Mueller and the Hyde Park Veterinary staff! My little girl Nellie was found after being abandoned with an injured leg. The staff flooded this little stray with love and care like nothing I?ve ever seen before. It?s clear that they all chose this profession for their true love of animals! Her injuries were so severe that Dr. Mueller had to amputate her leg, but thanks to all of their wonderful care, she is a happy, healthy girl with a forever home. Thank you Hyde Park for giving her a second chance at life and me a loving family member!
