This place is special. When they say they treat your cats like their own, that is an understatement. They've called on numerous occasions to check how my cats are doing. I've never been pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. Everyone does everything possible to make you feel welcomed, they treat you like family. I've never had to wait, they always promptly put me in a room ready to go. Dr. Yakubik always makes sure to explain everything and gives me different options. She offers her opinion but always lets me decide what's best. She has never shown any pressure, and she is always thinking about what's best for the cats. This place is the cat's meow! Loved that i could book online. Michelle (receptionist) was so warm and friendly. Dr Y and her tech (Connie?) Were very kind. Dr Y listened intently and gave my kittycat a thorough exam, all the while explaining her findings and what they meant. She explained our treatment options and was totally supportive of my decision to treat conservatively with medication first before doing any further testing. That made me feel like they weren't digging in my pocket, and that their philosophy is truly about the cat's best interest and health care. She also explained & demonstrated how i need to administer the medication and had me do it in front of her so that i know what to do at home. All in all a great experience. One star deduction because my appointment was scheduled on the hour and no one came in until 25 after, otherwise excellent care and service. Will not hesitate to bring kitty back here if he needs further care! Read Less

My family have been using Carrollwood Cats since we moved here in the 90's. Love the service, care, and compassion they show our cats! Dr. Williams and the staff are on point, and provide excellent customer service. We have had generations of our cats visit for well exams and we love how relaxed and welcoming the waiting room is. Within the past 4-5 years I have switched vets for our well checks, because we moved away from the area and I found a vet that does house calls. I used to go there with all 5 of my cats before they were bought out by VCA but I just went there 2 weeks ago with one. I have never b.een with a Veternarian that knew absolutely nothing about cats! They told me she needed all of these tests yet when I asked them what they were testing for they could not tell me anything. After several crucial hours, I took my cat and left for my dog veternarian, Dr. Hong. He took her in immediately and gave her an IV because she was very dehydrated. CC had not given her any fluids. He ordered bloodwork again as CC but told me what he suspected and what he was looking for. He gave her pain medicine and offered to keep her overnight or told me I could take her home and come back the next day. She passed that night. I sincerely beleive that she may stilll be here today if CC would have taken action instead of "observing" her. I could have watched over her...I needed a doctor to look at her and try to see what was wrong. They have the worst doctor at that location and I beg anyone considering this facility to reconsider. I know good veternarians after having cats my entire life and these people should be closed down!!!! Read Less
